| Second terms, untainted by re-election posturing, often reveal a president´s true governing philosophy. In the case of President Obama, two recent revelations have confirmed all we may need to know about his agenda for the next four years. On December 30, the president sat down for an interview with David Gregory on "Meet the Press." Gregory asked the president, "So what is your single priority of the second term? What is the equivalent to health care?" President Obama replied, "Well, there are a couple of things that we need to get done.

Not only does this administration make me mad they scare me. And with the fact that we have a lot of wimpy R in office and a very unengaged ignorant American public I am not hopeful.

Simple fact is that obama is dead set on destroying the country. Central to his upbringing, obama Sr. hated the U.S. Explained in the recent movie "2016". Where he grew up in Indonesia, well know fact that many refer to the U.S. as the "Great White Satan"
He´s taking the U.S. down as hard as he can. Anyone looking for economic rival from the White House is delusional.

...it appears the president is more concerned with what he regards as historic, landmark legislation to build his legacy, rather than the economic well-being of the nation.
Ya think? What gave Bill Bennet the first clue? And why is Bennett a contributor to CNN, and how did CNN let this opinion piece get past its Al Jazeera-Amanpour-type scrutiny?
It´s true, though. Obama doesn´t care about the well-being of the nation. His goal is to remove the well-being of America in favor of spreading misery around, so how come Bennett is just seeing this? He´s usually not that dense, is he?

Reading the posts after the article was depressing. It seems that the Republicans in congress are responsible for the 16 trillion of debt. They blame tax cuts and two wars.
Liberals conveniently forget that they had the congress in 2007. They conveniently forget that the dems had the senate in 200-2002. Dems conveniently forget that democrats voted for every bit of the spending.
We inch closer to the dissolution of the Union every day.

Last Thursday, Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) started a Twitter prairie fire with his call for people to describe #ObamacareInThreeWords. I first saw the headline early Tuesday on Real Clear Politics, a political news site where I generally start my morning. It´s not where I expect to see a story on breast cancer. Then I checked my e-mail messages -- they all seemed to be about Angelina Jolie´s op-ed. Students in my undergraduate class wanted to discuss it in our next session. Colleagues expressed concern and wondered what the right response was. People I don´t even know sent e-mails. Just when you think the news surrounding Obamagate cannot get any worse, it does. Some say U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s days on the job are numbered and that it’s just a matter of when he’ll be forced to resign. While I’ll not shed a tear over Holder’s departure, one of the replacement names being floated has me reaching for tissues: Gov. Deval Patrick. Patrick has denied he’s interested — but the job isn’t on offer yet. If it is, President Obama should not select him nor should he be confirmed by the Senate for a plethora of reasons.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement
