My comment is, I don´t think the Obama administration is really interested in protecting people from gun violence. I think their real agenda is to bully conservatives and the NRA. One thing we do know, Boehner will roll over for anything Obama wants. The GOP has morphed into Democrat-Lite. They stabbed the Tea Party people in the back. They wouldn´t even dump Boehner in spite of his poor performance in standing up to Obama. I don´t trust Boehner anymore, period.

Just my opinion, but if some Conservatives could EVER bring themselves to ENCOURAGE Republicans in Congress, rather than echoing the constant drumbeat of criticism from some pundits, there may be a different outcome in so many cases. Of course, it seems to be far more fun to continue to have the old "circular firing squad" at the ready, no matter the issue. IMO this is just another reason we lost the last election. democrats stand together right or wrong, but they DO stand up for each other. Something the GOP should learn to do.

The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee said Sunday he believes “more whistleblowers” will come forward with information on the deadly attack last year on diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya. “I do think we are going to see more whistleblowers. I know certainly my committee has been contacted, I think others committees [have been contacted] as well,” Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) said on “Fox News Sunday.”Rogers’s comments came days after a trio of State Department officials criticized the Obama administration’s actions regarding the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks at a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing.

Victoria Toensing, attorney for Benghazi whistleblower Gregory Hicks, says Hicks is a Democrat who voted for Hillary Clinton during the 2008 primaries, and President Obama twice for President. Toensing also said that NBC News "spiked" the story this week, prior to Hicks´ dramatic testimony before Congress. Toensing appeared on WMAL-FM in Washington DC Saturday with host Steve Malzberg. The Justice Department is taking the first steps toward carrying out President Obama’s executive actions on gun control. Attorney General Eric Holder on Friday released three proposals to strengthen the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), which was one of the 23 actions ordered by Obama last week to tackle gun violence. The proposed regulations would give local law-enforcement agencies access to the gun-sale database that is maintained by the FBI. The rules would also preserve records of denied weapons sales indefinitely. WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?"
