| In another sign that the end of times is approaching, Bill Clinton has been named by the National Father’s Day Council to receive one of its coveted Father of the Year awards: “With the profound generosity, leadership and tireless dedication to both his public office and many philanthropic organizations, President Clinton exemplifies the attributes that we celebrate through the Father of the Year award,” said Dan Orwig, chairman of the National Father’s Day Committee. Perhaps this explains it: The not-for-profit group awards Father of the Year to “contemporary lifestyle leaders of our culture”

You know, ladies, if Juanita Broaderick or Paula Jones had carried concealed weapons, this would be a very different world right now. Don´t let us down in the future.

Why did Clinton not finish at Oxford? Because he was not allowed after sexually assaulting another student. By covering up this initial crime -this sexual predator was allowed to continue molesting other women. The Clinton´s did not have "youthful indiscretions" they were both liars and frauds from the beginning and now they are icons of the Dem Party - and very rich from their "public service". Drudge has a fabulous photo of Monica wide mouthed looking up at the man who ruined her life and brought disgrace into the Oval Office. She was an intern and her parents entrusted her into his care- he betrayed their trust and that of the American people. He is the Father of the Year for record number of abortions and illegitimate births- A father who completely abdicates all responsibility for his children.

Yes, the perfect father is the one who cheats repeatedly on your mom.
Re:#1, remember the Million Mom March against gun ownership? There was a counter march that day sponsored by the Second Amendment Sisters. I marched in the counter march carrying a sigh that read, "Juanita Broaderick needed a gun". Several of the MMM´s, while surrounded by their children, told me to do what Cheney said to Leahy. I just smiled at them and waved.

It was probably his penchant for engaging in ´youth counseling´ that evoked those mental images of a young Monica Lewinsky toddling and crawling around on her hands and knees in the Oval Office and sealed the ´award´ for Willard...

This makes as much sense as Obama getting the Nobel Peace Prize when he did nothing to earn it or Time Magazine declaring Obama man of the year. With standards like this it´s no wonder kids graduating from grade school expect a life time achievement award.

THE BATHROOM IS LARGE, immaculate and low-lit, finished in rich wood, floor-to-ceiling mirrors and brushed metal. Wearing the thick bathrobe provided by an attendant, I walk from the shower to the wash basin. The heat radiates from the floor through my slippers. I have my own shaving gear with me but still browse through boxes and trays for accoutrements I might prefer. This is one of the nicest lavatories I´ve ever been in. It also happens to be 35,000 feet in the air. I´m aboard one of Emirates Airline´s double-decker Airbus A380s. According to the flight-progress map

It happens now and then. You hear a story so sad, so beautiful, so filled with loss and pain and grief and love, that it makes you cry. Really cry. Two years ago, I was making a grocery run for my family on Memorial Day when a story came on the local NPR station in Oxford, Miss. It was about a father whose son had been killed in action in northwest Afghanistan. The father was Paul Monti; his son was Sergeant Jared Monti. Jared died in Afghanistan trying to save the life of one of his men.

The recent attack on a British soldier by assassins wielding meat cleavers while bystanders looked on raises the question: “Why didn’t anyone try to help the victim?” Because British citizens are prohibited from carrying objects that could be used as “offensive weapons.” While it is well known that Brits cannot carry guns, a lesser known law prohibits any subject of the Queen from carrying a knife of consequence, pepper spray or a stun gun.According to the United Kingdom government website, the online storehouse of British government regulations, it is illegal to:

DALLAS—It hasn´t been the best of years for Big Tex, the 52-foot-tall animatronic cowboy who has greeted visitors to the State Fair of Texas for decades. His mechanical hand, which waved from side to side as he bellowed "Hoooowdy folks," stopped working before the fair opened last September. His 60th birthday celebration, which was to include one of the country´s biggest marching bands, was rained out. Then catastrophe struck three days before the fair ended last October. After a suspected electrical short inside his size 70 cowboy boots, Mr. Tex went up in a burst of flames that devoured

What would help a lot right now, as the chilling reality of savagery engulfs us, would be a cultural green light to begin calling evil what it is, to begin calling it by its name, to stop dancing around demographics because of the fear someone, somewhere will take offense. There is always someone, somewhere looking for a reason to be offended. Jesse Jackson has fashioned a lucrative career out of being perpetually peeved. It works if you know how to play the game. And one of the reasons it works is that too many people who ought to know better allow themselves

The White House on Friday didn’t respond to a report that Attorney General Eric Holder authorized the seizure a Fox News reporter’s phone and email records — and with no daily press briefing scheduled Friday that could mean silence from the administration through the Memorial Day weekend. NBC News reported Thursday that Holder approved the search of Fox News reporter James Rosen’s private emails and phone records in a probe of leaked government information. That revelation came just as the president ordered Holder to review Justice Department guidelines for investigating reporters. White House officials have not yet responded

President Obama’s speech at the National Defense University calling for an end to the war on terror forces the question of who gets to declare peace. The Left wing in our political debate has been agitating for some time to repeal the authorization to use military force that the Congress passed after 9/11. The President boarded the bandwagon yesterday. He vowed he would sign no laws designed to expand the mandate and declared outright that he looks forward “to engaging Congress and the American people in efforts to refine, and ultimately repeal” the congressional mandate to use force.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.

The murder of a soldier in south London on Wednesday has prompted fears of a backlash against British Muslims after the English Defence League staged an impromptu rally in the capital and two mosques were attacked. The BNP leader, Nick Griffin, has also reacted to the killing with provocative tweets calling for a protest in Woolwich and claiming the crime is the result of "mass immigration". Farooq Murad of the Muslim Council of Britain said the EDL´s rally in London on Wednesday night was cause for concern. "When attacks like these happen there´s always the danger of far-right extremism
