Fox News Contributor Slams Charles
Krauthammer For Suffering From
‘Obama Derangement Syndrome’

Mediaite, by Noah Rothman

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/10/2013 11:18:29 AM

Fox News Channel contributor Julie Roginsky took a shot at President Barack Obama’s critics on Wednesday, particularly syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer. Roginsky said that Krauthammer has begun to appear reflexively opposed to any of the president’s proposals, regardless of their merit. She proceeded to diagnose Krauthammer as having come down with “Obama derangement syndrome,” a play on a charge that Krauthammer himself had leveled at President George W. Bush‘s critics in the last decade. (Snip) Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly invited her panel guests to weigh in on a comment made by Krauthammer on Tuesday night’s The O’Reilly Factor

Comments:
Roginsky is just another mindless Democrat who does nothing but spew talking points. It is easy to predict what she and others will say before they even speak.

If Julie was paying the least bit of attention she would know that none of the won´s proposals have merit.

Since November 2nd, I have not turned on Fox News and feel much the better for it. Don´t know who the lady is but she is right, the right does suffer from ODS. Get over it, we lost, the country lost. You can´t beat Santa Claus. why beat a dead horse for the next 4 years? All conservatives should ditch the GOP and go libertarian. Forget the social issues, those were lost 20+ million abortions ago. Try to agree on fiscal conservatism and getting the countries finances on track.
Let the gays marry, who cares?
I´m done...

None of obama´s proposals has any merit so Charlie is right on the money. Whenever I see her face or hear her voice I turn on TV Land. A 35 year old rerun is better than anything that would come out of her mouth.

Saying Krauthammer has Obama Derangement Syndrome because he is reflexively opposed to Obama´s policies is not a fair comparison to the Left´s BDS. Not only did the Left reflexively oppose ANYTHING GWB would say or do or propose, but they had "Buck Fush" bumper stickers, made movies and off-Broadway shows about killing the President, joked openly about assassination, and sttacked him and his family in every media forum.
I can only wish the same for Obama.
As to "reflexively disagreeing," I can honestly that, with the sole exception of award ceremonies he held for military honors and medals, THERE IS NOT ONE SINGLE THING that Obama has said, done, or proposed that I agree with.
This fool has been wrong--really, stupidly wrong--on everything 100% of the time.
And that ain´t "reflexive."

Perhaps I´m mistaken but, was Krauthammer fairly conciliatory toward an Obama Presidency in the waning months of 2008? That´s the way I remember it and, I recall being disappointed in him then. Seems to me he gave ZERO a pretty good look before realizing just what he was and pulling back from the dark side. (no pun intended)

I am sure Mr. K cries into his pillow every night upset that this idiot is trashing him. I don´t think he gives a hoot what anyone says as he believes in free speech. I never miss him if he is on. Smart and I believe that he is a medical doctor also but cannot practice because of his physical condition.

Dr K. has the respect of more viewers than
probably any other analyst on TV. Sometimes we only turn on Fox Cable News just to see him and the panel, and then we return to what we were previously doing, and if was watching TV, it definitely was not one of the MSM channels. I can state categorically that I have not watched NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, for 5 minutes in the last
two years, ( other than for sports ).

This is but one of the Left`s tactics being used to take back the House in 2014. Paint all republicans and Tea Party members as `extremists`. That`s the new mantra. you`ll hear it early an often between now and the election. Also, the Left is confident the GOP will not regain the senate in 2014.

Once again, the GOP is left in the dust. They are stumbling around bumping into each other with zero plans to combat the democrats. No response from them to anything the dems do or say.

We are truly lost as a nation. The dems know exactly where to go to steal an election. They have it down pat.

Roginsky is apparently just another dem pawn & media tool but such statist siren songs as hers, broadcast by the lefty/libs of the past few decades, has indeed led many poor little sheeple voters astray. mmm mmm mmm

However, that once effective dem con song has grown stale and is beginning to fall flat as those decieved by the dem politicos and their disasterous policies are finding themselves crashing on the rocks of dispair as we all start 2013.

Charles Krauthammer does not fall for the politicos´ flim/flams & trickery and THAT so annoys the devious dem politicos! LOL!

#21, Apologies... apparently I misspoke. I went back and checked the archives and found nothing incriminating regarding Charles´ position with respect to Obama. Perhaps I was thinking of another (besides P.Noonan).

In my defense, it was over four years ago and I am getting (and feeling) older all the time.

In a new editorial, the folks at National Review came out strongly against the immigration plan being sponsored by the "Gang of Eight," a group of Senators that includes Marco Rubio (R-FL), calling the bill "Rubio´s Folly." National Review urges Senator Rubio to vote against the bill he has helped craft. It slams the proposed legislation as, "an amnesty-first, enforcement-maybe program drawn up mainly to reflect the priorities of 11 million citizens of other countries rather than the concerns of more than 300 million citizens of the United States." The editors point out that many of the

A pair of centrist senators introduced a bill Wednesday to soften the employer mandate in President Obama´s healthcare law. The healthcare law requires employers to offer coverage to employees who work more than 30 hours per week. Some employers have said they will reduce workers´ hours to avoid the mandate. Sens. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) proposed a bill to move the threshold to 40 hours per week, saying the employer mandate should match the traditional definition of a full-time worker. "What we´ve tried to do is be reflective of the businesses we work with,"

Marco Rubio made another one of his seemingly endless appearances on Sean Hannity’s program to advocate amnesty legislation. Rubio told Hannity that he has opposed amendments by Republican Senators to improve the legislation’s enforcement provisions because a new enforcement provision will be proposed tomorrow that is tougher and more effective than what has been proposed so far. Rand Paul’s amendment, which Rubio voted against, would have given Congress, not the Department of Homeland Security, the ultimate authority to determine if the border is effectively secure. It would also have included enhanced security measures, such as requiring a

To a remarkable degree, liberalism has been institutionalized as an official ideology, funded by your tax dollars. This editorial in Investors Business Daily explains, in shocking detail, how Obamacare is being used to fund Democratic Party operatives and drive Democratic Party enrollment: The Obama administration granted a whopping $910 million to California to set up its insurance exchange. That money is not for bandages, surgery, nurses and doctors to care for the sick. …Shockingly, the $910 million is slated for bureaucracy, including rich compensation packages for exchange employees ($360,000 a year for the executive director) and contracts for

The popularity of Obamacare has crashed to its lowest level in nearly two years, according to a new Kaiser Family Foundation poll. Kaiser´s monthly tracking poll found that just 35 percent have a favorable view of the health reform being put into place Jan. 1 while 43 percent view it unfavorably. The favorability rating of Obamacare has been worse only once, in October 2011, when it fell to 34 percent. Not only is the June poll bad news for the president as his administration struggles to have the health reform program ready for people to begin signing up

Americans are already wary of the federal government having collected their phone records, but now we have Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., setting up a slippery slope of more and more data collection. Earlier today, a Washington Examiner editorial warned that "if phone records are useful now in stopping terrorist attacks, how long before politicians and bureaucrats decide archiving the entire phone call would be even more useful? How long before the limitations and safeguards now in place are set aside?" Within a few hours, King provided an illustration of precisely what the Examiner editors fear. Responding to a

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is feeling the heat as potential GOP allies are now turning against his immigration reform bill. Republican colleagues who were previously viewed as possible “yes” votes are keeping their distance from the 1,075-page measure. On Wednesday, conservative activists ripped Rubio and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) — both sponsors of the bipartisan immigration measure — at a Capitol Hill rally. The crowd, which was protesting the bill’s effort to put millions of illegal immigrants on a path to citizenship, booed at the mention of Rubio’s name during the six-hour event.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. "Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity--symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others--these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it,"

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
