| ISLAMABAD- A drone strike Thursday in Pakistan´s North Waziristan killed four people and injured several others, officials said. A report by the Chinese news agency Xinhua said the drone fired four missiles at a compound suspected to be militant hideout. The area is in Eissu Khel village in the Mir Ali area of the tribal region near the border with Afghanistan. The compound was destroyed but the identities those killed weren´t immediately known. Xinhua said it was the second such strike in the area since Tuesday, when missile attacks killed three suspected militants, including an al-Qaida-linked operative.

The words "suspected to be" are sickening to me. The USA kills people they ´suspect´ are
militants. And by the way, what are ´militants´. How about killing people definitely known to be terrorists against the USA. Otherwise, we have no right to be killing anyone. and what if innocent people are nearbye. Just collateral damage in the wrong place at the wrong time. When these people retaliate, the Administration cannot understand why, it seems. Now it seems we have to find out what our Administration is doing by getting reports from Chinese news Services. How about OUR Government reporting to us, since they are so transparent. Since we are such good allies with Pakistan, and
send them financial and other aid, why don´t we ask their military to GO GET these ´militants´ so they can be questioned ( not killed ).

A federal court in San Francisco Tuesday struck down Arizona´s ban on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the law violates a string of U.S. Supreme Court rulings starting with Roe v. Wade that guarantees a woman´s right to an abortion before a fetus is able to survive outside the womb. That´s generally considered to be about 24 weeks. Normal pregnancies run about 40 weeks. Several states have enacted similar bans starting at 20 weeks. But the 9th Circuit´s ruling is binding only in the nine Western states

South Side rapper Chief Keef was arrested at a hotel near Atlanta this week for disorderly conduct after hotel security smelled marijuana smoke coming his room, police said. The disorderly conduct arrest comes two months after he was released from custody in Chicago for a probation violation. Chief Keef, 17, was arrested Monday afternoon at the LeMeridan Hotel located at 111 Perimeter Center West in Dunwoody north of Atlanta,(Snip) The hotel security alerted police shortly before 3 p.m. about illegal drug activity at the hotel.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew was told about a government watchdog´s investigation of the Internal Revenue Service in mid-March but did not learn the full extent of its findings until they were released earlier this month. Lew told the Senate Banking Committee on Tuesday that he first learned about the possible problems during a "getting to know you" meeting with the Treasury´s inspector general for tax administration, J.
