Journalists react in shock

Shocked journalists this afternoon were quick to react to the Drudge Report’s controversial header photo comparing President Obama to Hitler and Stalin. The item linked to a Weekly Standard article reporting that President Obama was willing to address the gun issue with an executive order. “Hitler and Stalin!” exclaimed BuzzFeed Editor Ben Smith on Twitter alerting most of his followers by linking directly to the Drudge Report. “Drudge rules our world,” responded Slate journalist David Weigel to Smith’s post on Twitter, later adding sarcastically, “SOMETHING SHOCKING HAS BEEN POSTED ON

Comments:
Those morons are so blinded by their love for 0bama they will never see how dangerous he and his regime are to this country. Drudge just pointed out the obvious.

Obviously History isn´t a required course for Journalists.

It seems that we really are doomed to repeat it, and at the same time, hand over the keys to the Muslims...

Bush was compared to Hitler and was called Hitler by Leftists throughout his terms. No outrage by journalists or anyone else was forthcoming.

Nor was there outrage when a video was put on You Tube telling people how to assassinate Bush. Their outrage is very selective: It´s OK to kill Republicans and call GOP Presidents "Hitler", but it´s not okay when the POTUS is a Democrats, especially not Beloved Leader Messiah and King Barack Hitler.

Shocked because they were taught that Hitler and Stalin were the good guys?
Welcome to the real world!!
The opinionists need re-education camps.
They have no right to call themselves journalists.

So, Drudge isn´t running the daily democrat talking points, so we´ll hold our breath and kick and scream until they do! s/o

Remember, the Progressives changed their name to Liberals when they Nazi´s used the Progressive slogans to gain power.

The Progressive ideals and goals haven´t changed in 100 years.

They move incrimentally and deliberately.

They now use health care and the EPA to change America how they want America to look.

Hitler did not need to disarm the German populace, because that had been done by the Wiemar Republic.

Where American progressives most resemble the Nazis regarding gun control regulation, is that they exempt themselves.

Wait til the headline reads, "Obama mulls executive action on 22nd ammendment" when the NY dems´ bill fails. The left will call it "honorable" and say. "It´s past time to take action!"

“Current splash on Drudge Report should satisfy the entirety of their mouthbreather audience,” tweeted the Huffington Post’s Drew Guarini.

The Left´s low-information ´mouthbreathers´ don´t know enough of history to understand or be alarmed by the contextual significance of Drudge´s post. If they understood the blessings of freedom they have enjoyed all of their lives, and the very real threat the Obama Administration is to them, they would not have voted for him.

#23´s image link says it all.

How ridiculously ignorant of Guarini to use the word ´satisfy´. There is no satisfaction in the necessity to sound such an alarm in the United States of America!

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg used a commencement speech to push his gun-control agenda, telling graduates of Kenyon College in Ohio that gun control is “something you really should think about.” Bloomberg, who co-chairs Mayors Against Illegal Guns, spent at least $14 million in support of legislation that would have required universal background checks for all gun-buyers. Although the bill died in the Senate on April 17, Bloomberg said the battle isn´t over. “I believe we will win, sooner or later, because I believe that all of you, your generation more than any other at least

Swamped in controversies, President Obama and his slow-footed team are essentially telling the American public, “We’re not crooked. We’re just incompetent.” The IRS targeting conservatives, the Justice Department snooping at The Associated Press, the State Department injecting politics into Benghazi, the military covering up sexual assaults, and the Department of Veterans Affairs leaving heroes in health care limbo – each of these so-called scandals share two traits. First, there is some element of “spin," the cynical art of telling just enough of the truth to avoid political embarrassment. Obfuscation and demagogy, the dirty tools of political quackery that

Delivering her only speech at a high school graduation this year, first lady Michelle Obama joked about the failures her husband, President Obama, has encountered in life as she told a graduating class of high school seniors in Nashville, Tenn. today that in order to achieve success in life, they must first experience failure. “When something doesn’t go your way, you’ve just got to adjust. You’ve got to dig deep and work like crazy, and that’s when you’ll find out what you’re really made of during those hard times, but you can only do that

Shortly before the second-term inauguration of Barack Obama this January, I wrote the following of my worries over the Obama way of doing business: But the untruths and hypocrisy hover in the partisan atmosphere and incrementally and insidiously undermine each new assertion that we hear from the president — some of them perhaps necessary and logical. Indeed, the more emphatically he adds “make no mistake about it,” “let me be perfectly clear,” “I’m not kidding,” or the ubiquitous “me,” “my,” and “I” to each new assertion, the more a growing number of people will come to know

The idea that Nancy Pelosi would again become Speaker after the 2014 elections was always something of a Democrat fantasy. It may be a good story to get a lefty to sleep at night, but it wasn´t likely to happen. In the last 100 years, only once has a President´s party picked up seats in the sixth year of a term. Redistricting in 2011 has put many of the seats the Democrats need out of reach. Whatever confluence of events Democrats envisioned would allow them to retake the House have been swept aside by the IRS scandal.

The intrepid Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News has been one of the few reporters attempting to dig deep into controversial stories, stories that President Obama would rather see go away. But after her work on Fast & Furious and Benghazi, she is now reporting that she´s been shut out of the information loop by the White House. Attkisson was one of the few members of the progressive media establishment interested in covering the Fast & Furious scandal, as well as the Benghazi. She has been so far reaching in her work that she was dubbed a "persistent voice

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

It began in earnest last Friday. A flash mob of latte drinking, tofu eating media that has done its best to quell, rather than fan the flames of truth, turned on one of their own. Jay Carney lay bludgeoned at the base of the podium, a victim of friendly fire. Ironically, the attack was reminiscent of the one in Benghazi he has repeatedly denied the Administration he represents bears any responsibility for. “Changed twelve times?!” came the cries. And with good reason. We were misled; no, lied to.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.
