Biden suggests White House
could act without Congress as
part of gun control plan

Vice President Biden suggested Wednesday that the White House could take unilateral action on gun control, as he kicked off a round of meetings aimed at finding ways to curb gun violence. The vice president met Wednesday with gun-safety and victims groups, saying he is "determined" to take "urgent action" to address gun violence. "This is not an exercise in photo opportunities or just getting to ask you all what your opinions are. We are vitally interested in what you have to say," Biden said. The White House has sought to avoid prejudging what Biden´s recommendations would be.

This is a trial balloon and/or warning that Obama is going to impose draconian gun restrictions by bypassing the states and Congress! This is known by history as dictatorship!! God help this country and may God damn the people that elected Obama!

To sum this up (and indeed, to sum up the entire Obama pResidency, one needs just one word:

Usurp.

This word is defined as follows:
seize something without right: to use something without the right to do so

Like Krauthammer said, Obama true colors will come out in his second term.

It now appears that he fashions himself a dictator in the ilk of a Hitler or Stalin governing by fiat, since the rest of us are to stupid to know any better.

Think a second and perhaps decide that Obe is posturing for the progressive masses knowing that a repeal of the 22nd will never happen BUT he could campaign for years on --I tried my best But the Republicans and the bible packing gun hugging menaces are to blame for all guns.
Would that get him a third try when he fails this time?

Plugs claims this is a "moral" issue. I guess gun running by Holder and Obama with Fast and Furious was not a "moral" issue? If he moves by executive order, Boehner should move toward impeachment.

Gun control will never work - I watch American Pickers and another reality show and the actors visit people at their homes. Several, in fact, more than several dozen men on farms and in the city can make guns and bullets. I have even thought of buying a small ladies´ gun to have around, but would have to use left hand. Easier to have a couple of steel canes.

Maybe 1861 is a better fit. Sadly.

And you can bet that all the Dem allies, from China, Russia, Cuba, Iran etc. etc. would be here in a heartbeat. Leftard feeding frenzy.

Okay, a bigger leftard feeding frenzy than the current gun-grab insanity.

U.S. military sources serving in North Africa are challenging the latest White House claim that the administration is applying "all the resources" at its disposal to bring the Benghazi attackers to justice, charging instead that the Obama administration knows who is responsible but is not acting. "They have let it slip by because of politics, and now we´ve taken all the correlation we had and dropped the ball because of risk (aversion) -- and now the security in Libya is more fragile than ever," one U.S. special operator told Fox News. Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse has apologized for remarks Monday in which he linked Oklahoma "cyclones" to climate change while berating Republicans for their stance on the issue -- around the time a massive tornado killed dozens in that state. A Whitehouse spokesman said Tuesday the politically charged remarks were pre-written as part of the senator’s weekly Senate floor speech on climate change. “Tragically and unbeknownst to the senator at the time, a series of tornadoes were hitting Oklahoma at the same moment he gave his remarks,” the spokesman said.

During a panel discussion on the Department of Justice seizing the phone records of Fox News’ James Rosen, Bret Baier revealed that the seizure included the phone records of Rosen’s parents. The entire panel agreed the scandal was an outrage, with Kirsten Powers pointing out that there have been a number of high-profile leaks from the Obama administration, but the only ones they seem interested in going after are the ones that make them look bad. Charles Krauthammer found it amazing that the government would make such a “huge assault on the first amendment” in trying to

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen.
