The bad news? Not true of every last individual, but the overwhelming truth is that they´ll come to your area, and because they know best, they´ll immediately set about fouling "their" new home.

Sounds like #3 lives in DC. However, folks are pouring into that area as, only the Federal government seems to be hiring people with no marketable skills these days. MD probably gets the spillover.

Sorry about the blank....
What is not mentioned is the wage and wealth of those moving. Someone earning $200,000 per year is of a considerable different asset to the state, compared to a welfare type.

Keep in mind, this is based on United Van Lines data, so the info needs to be analyzed a little deeper. Take Nevada´s ranking on the plus side, for instance. You could read into the numbers that people can afford to hire movers when inbound, but are too poor after living there a few years to afford the same service, and so must resort to packing all their belongings (that they haven´t hocked) into the back of their run-down beater of a car and moving to some other state.
Not saying that is the case, I´m just saying these numbers on this map are hardly rock solid info.

If only they would leave their progressive political thinking behind - such re- settlers have caused havoc in the once true conservative and independent strongholds of the west.We have been diluted and not for the best.

3,925 families moved out of New Jersey due to Hurricane Sandy? In just over two months? Those families decided to leave, knew where they were going, hired the van line, packed up and left in just over two months? 3,925 families? I call BS on these stats. (Although I sure sympathize with those who want to leave the (formerly) Great State of New Jersey).

One of two men allegedly being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Florida on Tuesday, (Snip)A friend of Ibragim Todashev said he and Todashev were being investigated as part of the Boston bombings. He said Todashev, 27, knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev because both were MMA fighters. The man claims he and Todashev were interviewed by the FBI for nearly three hours on Tuesday. The friend said he left the interview, and when he came back to the apartment he found that there had been a shooting.

We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W.
