| The White House’s ‘Photo of the Day’ is a much more gender inclusive photo of President Obama’s senior staff after the New York Times ran a story criticizing the president for his male-dominated staff. “In an Oval Office meeting on Dec. 29, 11 of President Obama’s top advisers stood before him discussing the heated fiscal negotiations,” reported the Times in an article published today on page A-1. “The 10 visible in a White House photo are men.” Today’s White House photograph, taken January 8, shows President Barack Obama meeting with several women advisors in the Oval Office

So let´s see if I have this right: lefties, especially those in Pelosi´s district, tell us that sexual/gender choice/orientation/identification etc. should be a non-issue and that attempting to identify, classify, address, or refer to anyone by traditional standards of dress and behavior is a discriminatory act. We have ´gender studies´ chairs (!?) at colleges who refuse to be classified as either male or female.
However, when it comes to photo ops those arcane-but-rigid rules are dropped in favor of good old suit=man and skirt=woman rules of thumb. Where are the LGBTQWYXZABC1234 staffers?!?!? We demand an end to the exclusion of men who identify as giraffes!!!

So they left out half the cabinet in order that the 3 junior members and advisers look like a more balanced group. I don´t believe advisers go through Senate review.
