Letting Liberal Democrats set your gun policy is like letting pedophiles run your children´s day care. It may turn out alright, but I wouldn´t bet that way.

Although democrats are capable of almost anything on gun control, it´s important for conservatives to remain alert that gun control talk may be a big distraction, as leftists might be working furiously behind the scenes on the biggest prize ever for
them ---- amnesty. With amnesty of 20 to 30 million illegals, it becomes practically impossible for the GOP to win another national election. Twenty to thirty million new democrat voters would turn on a dime the USA radically left. In such a climate, democrats could carry out any controls (gun or otherwise) that they want. These are very frightening times. Grab a tight rein.

Voting democrat is like taking in a ravenous mutt thinking it won´t bite this time. But it nips and nips until it bites deep enough to draw blood.
We never learn, it seems, and so we are bitten time after time.

And what will the tipping point be, where will it start? Or will we just fade away into the dustbin of history?

He has already started grabbing. BofA froze the business accounts of a gun manufacturer even though they did nothing to warrant it other than sell guns. BofA is a huge Obama supporter. I hope anyone who comments here is taking steps to find another financial institution.

He´s going to govern as Lincoln did -- by executive order. Lincoln had tens of thousands of US citizens arrested for speaking against his policies (& I´m talking about citizens from the Union states of the North). He even issued an arrest warrant for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. When newspapers spoke out against him, he had them shut down and their presses destroyed. Don´t think it cannot happen again.

Even though the Senate would never convict him, Articles of Impeachment being passed by the House would sure raise my opinion of the republicans...
