| The White House stood behind Piers Morgan´s vociferous anti-gun statement´s last night by releasing a statement reminding American´s that "freedom of expression is a bedrock principle in our democracy." Yet when conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh was under fire for comments made about Sandra Fluke last year, President Obama proclaimed in a press conference that the comments were "innappropriate" and had "no place in public discourse." The White House was compelled to comment on the CNN star´s recent comments because a petition on their website calling for Morgan´s deportation has garnered over 100,000 signatures.

Hey, let´s just abolish the whole Constitution.
We can then turn in all our guns on the way to the re-education camps where we can sing about beloved leader-for-life Obama, and sacred Empress Michelle.

Rush may have won the battle, but he alone cost Romney the election when he kept harping on Fluke. The democrats parlayed the attack on her into the "republicans hate women" mantra that won the election for Obama.

Obama won 32% to 28%, with 39% non-voters.

State Department Spokeswoman Jen Psaki said she was "not sure" whether the Taliban is designated as a terrorist organization when a reporter pressed her on negotiations between the United States and the Islamist group during Tuesday´s press briefing. These talks come on the heels of the Taliban opening offices in Qatar, allegedly to aid the Afghan government´s progress toward stability without a U.S. presence. The international coalition recently gave primary responsibility for Afghanistan´s security to the country´s army and police. Now the Taliban have opened offices in Qatar to facilitate talks for a political solution.

NEW YORK — The New York Police Department´s widespread spying programs directed at Muslims have undermined free worship by innocent people and should be declared unconstitutional, religious leaders and civil rights advocates said Tuesday after the filing of a federal lawsuit. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria.
