Who are the "family friends"? Who paid for their vacation, American taxpayers? Everything about this family is a big secret, except the dollar amount for their vacations. This one was a whopping 7 million dollars.

All this is absolute baloney. Folks, you live in the White House and work for us, how dare any First Family freak out over even ordinary phoographs like this? I see they are not very attractive pictures but tough.

But if one of the Bush girls (admittedly older young ladies) was caught having one of those adult beverages, it was stop the presses at Natl. Enquirer and breaking news at MSNBC.

Do the Marines who stand attention and salute Obie as he boards and leaves helicopter Marine Two also salute Mooch? Why? (see photos)

I have no burning desire to see sausage and maligner, but I do think taxpayers have the right to know who and what they are paying for on this vacation or any vacation.

They are no more special than any other elected official.

I self-quash any and all photos of that family because I find them revolting. Likewise when Our Dear Leader´s voice comes out of the speakers; volume mute. Happy?

Big Moochie, Sasquatch and Malaria are so special that commoners are not allowed to look at them or view photos of them.

I am no fan of paparazzi, and I´m a big fan of the United States Secret Service, but the photographers should have said the following to the Secret Service agents who accosted them:

1. It´s a public beach
2. No, you may not see my identification.

The Secret Service is tasked with protecting their charges from attack, not with enforcing their whimsical notion of propriety on the rest of us. They should be politely but firmly discouraged from demanding identification from folks going about their lawful business in a public place.

I think they don´t want you to know there are ´friends´ with them and how many there are. Remember the uproar when Moo!chelle used several floors of the very expensive hotel in Spain (I think) for the hundreds of friends and SS agents. In fact, I think it took two hotels to hold all of them. They just want to avoid another uproar from the peasants. Will he have $1.5 billion/year to pay their expenses when he hopefully is back as a private citizen or will he write an EO or whatever to keep the $$ coming. Remember Klintoon continued SS coverage for Web´s little girl at taxpayer expense.

I seriously think that I might live long enough (I´m in my sixties)to see the congress and the people of this country, when obama and the dems enter a room/area, rise and lift their arm in a salute.

Like prior posters, I haven´t any need to see photos of BHO´s kids on the beach, and I don´t even have much of a problem with BHO asking (not demanding/requiring/intimidating) various press organizations not to publish such photos - especially as they are under 18.

However, the more important and most chilling aspect of this story is the part about the Praetorian Guard, I mean Secret Service, accosting the photographer, demanding identification, and "warning" him to not take photos. As prior poster pointed out photography of people in public spaces and places is not illegal, nor is it grounds amounting to "reasonable suspicion" that would even properly warrant such action.

Like it or not, BHO´s kids are public figures, he put them in that position. He has used them for various photo opportunities - including political events, and has invoked their names to promote his political agenda. They are minors, if he would rather they not be photographed on a beach or elsewhere, he has the means and access to secured locations to do so.

Contrary to the desires or many, he is not our King, nor is he God, him, his wife and their kids are (ideally - if not in actuality) are expected to abide by the same rules as you and me.

Stinky probably sold the photo rights to People magazine.
