| Buried at the bottom of a New York Times piece might be the real reason to explain why New York´s Journal News did something as sensationally stupid as publishing the names and addresses of over 30,000 legal gun owners living in two New York counties. In just five years, the Journal News´ Monday through Friday circulation rate has plummeted almost 40%, "from 111,536 in September 2007 to 68,850 in September 2012." And those that live in the affected counties should not only cancel their subscriptions they should also boycott those companies that advertise in the paper.

what the article pointed out was that the circulation was in ´´free fall´´ prior to their publishing the gun map. The gun map was calculated to boost circulation rather than the other way around. It appears that the circulation numbers subsequent to the map publication have not been either compiled or released...

It is time for this! There is no reason to keep considering boycotting enemies.
If the residents of colonial America could establish a boycott of English tea over a few cents tax then we should be undaunted by the idea of boycotting the useful idiots of today´s progressive program to subvert the constitution!
Every dollar spent on a liberal newspaper, a typical Hollywood propaganda film, a CD by a liberal nutcase pop diva, etc., is a direct contribution to the campaign to put an end to our constitutional republic and replace it with a socialist dictatorship! There is no reason we should pay them to do it!
Is the thirst for a Matt Damon DVD more important to us than our forefathers thirst for English tea was to them?
The effort to facilitate robberies and assaults against gun owners is aiding and abetting criminals at best and conspiracy to kill at worst. The newspaper (and many others like it) deserve to go financially bankrupt. They are already morally bankrupt.

You have got to see the reaction of Judge Jeanine! She was burned about the fact that the newspaper published her information. The women who have been hiding out from stalkers, ex´s, etc. are now put in harms way also. I also heard prisoners are threatening their guards families.

Back when I glanced at this ´newspapers´ website, I noticed misspelling, run-on sentences, sentences w/o subjects and allusions to topics not previously brought up. I then concluded that to compare their writers´ abilities to that of a high school freshman would be to insult high school dropouts.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says it wants as many as 20 percent of its workers to "telework," use an "alternative work schedule," or do both, in order to "reduce green house gas emissions," decrease "employee stress," and give these government workers more time for "planning and preparing healthy meals." So says one of the HHS "performance measures" detailed in an appendix to the department´s latest strategic plan. HHS´s performance measure "4.D.05" says: "Increase the percent employees on telework or on Alternative Work Schedule." Telework means working from home via phone and computer.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men.
