Obama to Boehner: ´We Don´t
Have a Spending Problem´

Breitbart Big Government, by Ben Shapiro

In an interview with Stephen Moore of the Wall Street Journal, newly re-elected House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) opened up about President Obama’s utter unwillingness to cut a single dollar from federal spending. In a stunning admission, Obama reportedly told Boehner, “We don’t have a spending problem.” Boehner added that President Obama continues to maintain that America’s federal deficit is caused not by governmental overspending but by “a health-care problem.” Said Boehner, “They blame all of the fiscal woes on our health-care system.” Boehner told Obama, “Clearly we have a health-care problem, which is about to get worse with Obamacare.

Correct, obama does not have to negotiate over the debt ceiling. The House under Boehner can just leave it where it is, begin all the mandatory spending cuts, including Military. Doesn´t matter if obama signs it or not. It´s obama´s "crap sandwich". Hope they send it to him.

We have an intelligence deficit problem for sure. Which explains the chronic budget deficit problem.

Reply 5 - Posted by: strike3, 1/7/2013 6:23:19 AM     (No. 9102581)

It all depends upon how you define "spending problem." Obama has no problem spending what we have and what we don´t have.

Sound like a dictator much, Obama? To Boehner, "I´m tired of hearing you say that."

Reply 7 - Posted by: bubby, 1/7/2013 7:22:41 AM     (No. 9102655)

#3 I hope you are right but my bet is that Boehner will raise the debt ceiling now on promises of future spending cuts by the Democrats which will never happen. Just a wild guess. That way Congress can continue to borrow a trillion dollars a year for programs and departments we don´t need. Congress has a spending addiction and I see no end in sight.

Boehner doesn´t get it. Just as the Muslims have been at war with America for decades, so have the liberal and socialist Democrats. The means justifies the end for them and the they consider the Constitution and traditional Americans outdated jokes that must be destroyed. It is past time to be playing nice with the real enemy of America, Mr. Boehner. If you are not willing to do this, than step aside. There is younger blood waiting in the wings willing to take the actions necessary to save the nation.

Reply 9 - Posted by: iamtinman, 1/7/2013 7:49:06 AM     (No. 9102697)

Obama sure doesn´t have a spending problem! It´s NOT spending where he has a problem!

Reply 10 - Posted by: 4freedom, 1/7/2013 8:38:46 AM     (No. 9102787)

Trouble is the Obamabobbleheads will read this and say, see told you so, what spending problem, stupid tea party jerks.

Obama´s right -- spending isn´t our problem. An emerging Marxist Dictatorship is our problem.

Seriously, he does not understand that we have a spending problem. What is the source of his information, or is he just bluffin´ and lyin´ as usual?

Someone needs to take the checkbook away from this little missy.
When he was getting ready to run for potus, he was denied a credit card and the ability to rent a car due to his poor credit history and that he was heavily in debt. Now he is a multimillionaire.
When jimmy carter left the whitehouse, his private business was in bankruptcy. The saudis bailed him out of trouble and continue to finance him to this day. Wonder if obama, whose college life was financed by the saudis´, is on that payroll?

Anyone that delusional has no business being president. It´s time to remove him from office due to mental illness.
And Biden too.

Just like a drug addict or alcoholic moments before "hitting bottom" 0bama can´t see his spending problem.

How does he have access to the funds he spends, Dingy Harry Reid hasn´t passed a budget bill since 0bama was sworn into office four years ago, 0bama has never signed a budget bill, under what authority does he have access to any funds??

The House should increase the debt limit by just one penny, then give 0bama a list of all the things he authorized spending on that Congress did NOT, then set an annual limit on the use of Air Force One, and a firm "You can not spend one red cent that doesn´t start with a House spending bill."

Reply 17 - Posted by: horacer, 1/7/2013 1:30:50 PM     (No. 9103378)

Obama heard this from one of his budget knuckleheads. All the spending is a problem. The health care system is the main problem. Obama´s only making it worse. Medicare and medicaid will bankrupt us.

Syria activists look to a
grave for evidence against Assad

WASHINGTON— The hunt for proof that Syrian government forces used banned chemical weapons may come down to a rotting corpse exhumed late last month from a makeshift cemetery near Damascus. The grave diggers — a Syrian doctor and several medical students — were seeking tissue from the remains of a man who had died of respiratory failure after a rocket allegedly spewed poison gas on Dariya, a suburb of the Syrian capital, on April 25. Reaching the cadaver several feet down, the team sliced open the cloth shroud, cut into the torso and removed a small piece of lung.

What do you do when your base is angry about Guantanamo? I guess that you promise to close it again. You also blame Congress for not giving you the money to do it. The problem is that it was a Congress controlled by Democrats that did not provide the funding. What about drones? You promise that we will "drone" more carefully from now on. Let´s hope that the terrorists will cooperate by keeping children away from them. What about tapping reporters phones? You say that it was about national security and because that "darn Congress"

On Melissa Harris-Perry Saturday morning, David Cay Johnston, an investigative reporter and professor at Syracuse University College of Law, lambasted the Obama Administration as hermetically sealed toward journalists, even in comparison to the Bush and Reagan administrations. Following a discussion on the President’s drone speech, in which the panel agreed that while drones are here to stay, the true problem is the lack of visibility and accountability into their use, Johnston expanded the point to a larger condemnation of the White House’s lack of transparency.

The emergency operating room where doctors tried to save President Kennedy´s life after he was shot has been broken into pieces and covertly stored in crates for years, guarded as if it were a state secret. As the 50th anniversary in November of the President´s assassination nears, an investigative team from local Dallas station WFAA went digging for the exact location of the broken tiles and medical equipment used on that fateful day. They found that the room was formally destroyed in 1972 when Parkland Hospital was going through an expansion and Trauma Room 1 had to be demolished.

A man who was searching for pythons discovered a piece of actual treasure instead. Mark Rubenstein was taking part in the Florida state-wide python killing competition when he discovered a gold pendant adorned with diamonds and sapphires. Mr Rubenstein found the piece of jewellery in the Everglades in February, and because of the location of the discovery, he believes that it landed in the swamp in the wreckage of a fatal plane crash. Though the Florida coast has been the site of many shipwrecks in the past, this find is not thought to be a remnant of the Spanish era

CRAWFORD —Former President George W. Bush needed little help to blaze a trail Friday for 14 veterans mountain biking with him through open prairies, slick ravines and steep canyons. That’s because he brought the third annual Warrior 100K Ride — a three-day mountain biking trek to honor service members injured in Afghanistan and Iraq — to the well-worn paths at his Prairie Chapel Ranch outside of Waco. But even as Bush welcomed the wounded warriors to his home to thank them for their service, he made clear that his mission to help veterans extends well beyond the trails

Every Memorial Day, when I run into the grocery store to pick up those last minute items for the three day weekend’s picnic, I’m met with members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) selling their poppies. We cherish, too, the poppy red/ that grows on fields where valor led; It seems to signal to the skies/that blood of heroes never dies-- “We Shall Keep the Faith” by Moina Michael -I remember as a kid that it was very common to see paper poppies being sold around Memorial Day. You could even go to the post office and purchase one

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.

A Washington state Democrat is accusing Republicans of “throwing American infrastructure … under the bus” after a bridge collapse there this week. The portion of Interstate 5 in Washington that runs over the Skagit River collapsed on Thursday after a truck hit an overhead support structure, but Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) cited the incident in an interview as proof Republicans were blocking infrastructure investment to hurt President Obama politically. “Well, they have clearly spent the whole last five years trying to tear the president down, but they have done it by throwing the American infrastructure and
