As we peel this onion called 0bamaCare, the freebies and cost of them will make US cry.

To add, my suspicion is that none of this is available to those who buy insurance on the individual market; policies with maternity coverage (to include any and all related expenses) are prohibitively expensive.

Work for yourself? Not a "government" worker or an employee of a large company? Tough luck. Illegal alien? Welfare parasite? Have as many children you like; the small business people will just have to go without.

I think the government should pay--it´s probably cheaper than formula bought with food stamps (not that many welfare-types breast-feed their babies, despite having the time to do so).

Oh, will the food stamp allotment be decreased accordingly? As if.

And it won´t be the government paying for these breast pumps for those who have insurance through their employers - their fellow employees will pay via higher premiums, co-pays, &/or reduced coverage elsewhere.

They get a free breast pump; does their benefit from WIC (formula, baby food, food for mothers) decline because they´re using less formula?

There´s a thriving black market in WIC-supplied foods, too.

How nice. Now women, if they choose, can sleep around and breed on the taxpayer´s dime.

Arab countries are setting up milk stations, where new moms must contribute surplus breast milk, for re-distribution...

I recently purchased a C-PAP machine as prescribed by a dr. My insurance covered 40% of the cost but in return I have to show compliance - there is a USB device that I can put into my computer to send the data showing how often I use the machine (and it has to be in use, not merely turned on). I have no problem with this. But how in the word do you show compliance with a breast pump? I also agree that moms who aren´t employed shouldn´t get one since they have time to breast feed (unless for healthy reasons it is called for).

This is nothing compared to the state of NY. If you´re welfare, you´ll never have to buy pampers in your lifetime.
