| [Video] Let me be clear, I do not support default on the debt and we should never default on the debt and the only players who are threatening to default are President Obama and Harry Reid. This is an issue, and earlier in the show you played the President threatening default. In any given month tax revenue are 200 billion and interest is 30 or 40 billion. There is it plenty of revenue to service the debt and any responsible President would´ve stood at that podium and said ´whatever happens with the debt ceiling, we will always pay our debt.

Knowing this, and acknowledging this article, why haven´t the pubs out front on this? We just went through a national campaign, one of the longest if not the longest, in history (well at least on the dems side) and somehow this was not in the pub´s message. Where was Boehner on this?

Every time I hear Senator Cruz speak, I am very glad he beat Dewhurst in the primary. I cannot imagine Dewhurst EVER saying and planning what Cruz is saying and planning.
I believe Ted Cruz will be an exceptional Senator for Texas and the USA.

Cut spending, period. Not the rate of increased spending, true cuts. If it takes a shutdown of Government, then do it. Force this Administration to stick to a budget ( not that they have one ). It is time to save the USA from economic oblivion.

Wasn´t Cruz talking about forcing a shutdown of the government just yesterday? Nevertheless, i like the new approach: seize the moral high ground and stop acting like a teenage demolition crew.

Cruz, a good man, is off base here.
Yes, there is 30 or 40 billion of interest to service the debt. And yes, there is 200 billion of revenue. But all of that 200 billion is not discretionary; it is committed to other spending streams. And if the Fed finds it can no longer hold interest rates at current levels, the cost of servicing the debt will explode.
Make no mistake; America is facing a very real prospect of economic apocalypse, and poo-pooing it is not very becoming in any politician, especially a Republican.

There are only two outcomes to the coming debt ceiling crises. Either the debt gets raised or the govn gets shut down. Boehner will never allow the govn to be shut down. He is too much of a wimp to let that happen so the national debt will be raised and raised and raised to infinity.

Cruz was absolutely fantastic! He has an excellent mind, is extremely articulate - forcefully so - and his principles are in place.
And John Roberts let him talk. No Chris Wallace-type interruptions.
I have to say that this Fox News Sunday, with John Roberts as moderator, was the best, the most informative, we have ever watched. The entire show was satisfying in its presentation and John Roberts deserves a lot of credit for asking good questions and then letting his guests respond to them. In detail. Without interruption.
If Fox was polling re a new moderator for this program, Roberts would get my vote. (And I always thought he was just a pretty face.)

If only we had party leaders who had the stones to call this bully´s bluff.
We don´t.
That´s why we need a new party, with people like Sen. Cruz at the helm.

...but if Cruz is as courageous as we conservatives know he is, the RINOs will be wishing soon he WOULD go third party. Cruz gets it. No courage, no articulate message is why the GOP is half dead. Thank God Cruz can help us fix it.

Sen. Cruz is terrific. Was happy to see Fox News Sunday Morning allow him and all the others to speak, the only exception was that MD dem van Hollen. We do not need more of Chris Wallace´s interruptions. We need many Republicans to speak the truth. One man is great, but he will need reinforcements. Just watch your back!

On Melissa Harris-Perry Saturday morning, David Cay Johnston, an investigative reporter and professor at Syracuse University College of Law, lambasted the Obama Administration as hermetically sealed toward journalists, even in comparison to the Bush and Reagan administrations. Following a discussion on the President’s drone speech, in which the panel agreed that while drones are here to stay, the true problem is the lack of visibility and accountability into their use, Johnston expanded the point to a larger condemnation of the White House’s lack of transparency.

The emergency operating room where doctors tried to save President Kennedy´s life after he was shot has been broken into pieces and covertly stored in crates for years, guarded as if it were a state secret. As the 50th anniversary in November of the President´s assassination nears, an investigative team from local Dallas station WFAA went digging for the exact location of the broken tiles and medical equipment used on that fateful day. They found that the room was formally destroyed in 1972 when Parkland Hospital was going through an expansion and Trauma Room 1 had to be demolished.

CRAWFORD —Former President George W. Bush needed little help to blaze a trail Friday for 14 veterans mountain biking with him through open prairies, slick ravines and steep canyons. That’s because he brought the third annual Warrior 100K Ride — a three-day mountain biking trek to honor service members injured in Afghanistan and Iraq — to the well-worn paths at his Prairie Chapel Ranch outside of Waco. But even as Bush welcomed the wounded warriors to his home to thank them for their service, he made clear that his mission to help veterans extends well beyond the trails

Every Memorial Day, when I run into the grocery store to pick up those last minute items for the three day weekend’s picnic, I’m met with members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) selling their poppies. We cherish, too, the poppy red/ that grows on fields where valor led; It seems to signal to the skies/that blood of heroes never dies-- “We Shall Keep the Faith” by Moina Michael -I remember as a kid that it was very common to see paper poppies being sold around Memorial Day. You could even go to the post office and purchase one

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. Marimow broke earlier this week. The memo’s a masterpiece, too. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience
