Nancy Pelosi´s photo trickery
enhances her caucus

You know how it is when you plan a group photo of any kind, especially a large group. Not just families. There´s always someone moving or blinking or mugging or clowning with two fingers sticking up behind another´s head. Or, worst of all, there´s always someone late. {Snip] Well, that´s just what happened when Nancy Pelosi organized the new women´s Democratic caucus in the House of Representatives.

Leftist ideology regularly substitutes fantasy for reality. What are "diversity" and "affirmative action" but a kind of human photoshopping that uses people as decorative zombies and place holders to represent the ideal, imaginary reality of Leftism? It is no wonder that Ms. Pelosi, who has never been accused of being the sharpest knife in the drawer, doesn´t understand what all the fuss is about. For her and people like her, the fake photo, like their fake social-political-economic reality, is the true reality. What others call reality, truth, facts etc. is always second best, a mere reflection of the beatific vision of the Leftist imagination. "If it feels good, do it!" applies to lots of things besides sex, drugs and rock and roll.

Take a good look at pelosi. She is pretty much a fake. Just look at her face. I am sure she doesn´t have a clue on why some people are upset by this situation.

It is a false image, a deliberate deception, created to rewrite history. No wonder Pelosi sees nothing wrong with it.

Good old Democrats, always correcting the absence of others, whether it´s in a photo or a voting booth and their inappropriate behavior, looking away or blinking in a photo or casting a ballot for the wrong candidate. They use Photoshop by ADOBE and Votoshop by ACORN. And just as Photoshop CS6 has many new features, Votoshop EV (electronic voting) has the new feature called ´Voting Layers´ to enhance the final tally in realtime so that the tedious and possibly destructive use of manually applied ´Magic Bags of Ballots Wand´ during Post-Processing is entirely eliminated. Votoshop EV also has a new Adjustment Layer called ´Fairness´ which adjusts the total voting spectrum towards the ´Low Information´ end. It only goes in one direction and Republicans don´t know how to correct it.

A good post from #2, as usual. It recaps the Left -- the narrative matters, it trumps fact, and perhaps most importantly, it obviates the need for real ability.

As the estimable Eric Hoffer noted, "For many people, an excuse is better than an achievement because an achievement, no matter how great, leaves you having to prove yourself again in the future; but an excuse can last for life."

That´s another side of the "identity as ´merit´" corruption inflicted on us by the Left. And the do-ers, the achievers, get to pay for those who glide along on excuses.

Have a nice day.

Unless the latecomers are the tallest women in the house, it´s a lousy photoshop. Notice how much taller they are than the others. Unless of course, the stood on the wrong step for their photo?

The poor photographer lost over half a dozen lenses in the shot they they did get. DWS and Sheila the Queen would have made it impossible to get any photo. They probably had to reposition the Hubble and have it take the photo.

Those aren´t even the same shots. In the first shot the black lady´s face is turned toward that ugly thing from the northeast on the extreme left of the top row.

Feel free to do a search to see the two documents signed by Pelosi. Phony is as phony does. The woman knows no bounds and will have documents photoshopped or changed to suit her agenda.

“The DNC drafted, signed and notarized TWO slightly different versions of their Official Certification of Nomination documents, not one,” he wrote. “One of those documents had complete legal language, and one of them was missing the text concerning the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama.

“The version which is absent any certification of constitutional standing for the office of president is the version that was filed with every state in the country, and the one used by the DNC to elect Barack Obama president.”

The left really thinks they broke ground with the first black president and have already moved on to enhance women in government in other positions. Obama pays his female staffers less than the men, same as with his campaign workers but women libbers aren´t bothered by that.

This is all stagecraft to convince young women that the dem party is the wave of the future for them.It actually worked in this last election because republicans didn´t fight back on the bogus war on women.

Graduation ceremonies are good times for families and their offspring, which makes them good times for politicians to be around and associate themselves with happiness. President Obama gives four commencement speeches per year--at one public and one private university, one historically black school and one service academy. Just before his epidemic of scandals broke, Obama critiqued the many faults of America and told Ohio State graduates to dismiss cynical talk about over-reaching government and fear of tyranny. Technically, first ladies are not politicians. Most are dutiful if often reluctant campaigners. But Michelle Obama is a glaring exception.

Finally, scientific confirmation of what so many have suspected all along: The strongest of men in varied societies around the world are much more likely to hold conservative political views. Probably much smarter too. While weaker guys, regardless of wealth, are more liberal, into handouts and wealth redistribution because, well, they don´t have the strength to get it and keep it themselves. The reassuring results come from a new study by researchers at Denmark´s Aarhus University.

Hi, I’m Congressman Andy Harris, and this is the Red Tape Tower. 20,000 pages high and seven feet tall, it encompasses all of the regulations already associated with President Obama’s health care law. The red tape, the taxes, the mandates, the tricks, the traps, the fine print … it’s all here. Now: just think about the fact that it’s the IRS that will be responsible for enforcing many of these regulations. If we’ve learned anything this week, it’s that the IRS needs less power.

Hi, everybody. Over the past few months, I’ve laid out a series of commonsense ideas to reignite the true engine of our economic growth: a rising, thriving middle class. The way I see it, there are three areas where we need to focus. One: making America a magnet for good jobs. Two: making sure our workers have the education and skills they need to do those jobs. And three: making sure your hard work leads to a decent living. I’ve also been visiting cities across the country that are doing some interesting and creative things along these lines.

Another awkward day in the unraveling presidency of Barack Obama. Beset by a trio of profound scandals, the Democrat planned Thursday´s message on foreign affairs through a joint news conference with Turkey´s Prime Minister Erdogan, a NATO ally. Unfortunately, Obama´s advance staff was apparently too busy preparing his next campaign stops to check the Washington weather forecast. It set up the news conference outdoors in the Rose Garden. Wouldn´t you know given POTUS´ recent luck, it began raining heavily. Obama [Snip] ordered two U.S. Marines to come hold umbrellas over the leaders´ heads while standing at attention.

Washington, the former swamp steeped now in ambition, acrimony and duplicity, is quite experienced in handling scandals. They erupt regularly like bipartisan blisters. If handled correctly -- take responsibility, be sincere, proactive, contrite and get all the bad stuff out there quickly in one tidy, eminently forgettable package -- scandals can heal and leave barely a scar. Take Barack Obama. Please. His recent behavior and that of his administration in this ongoing bad news blizzard will be case studies for future generations of communications strategists on how not to address crises.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.
