| The office of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) digitally added several female members to a photograph intended to include all of the women in the House Democratic Caucus. While dozens of members turned out for the Thursday photo-op, some weren’t able to make it on time, ABC News reported. Rep. Debbie Wassermann Schultz (D-Fla.), the chair of the Democratic National Committee, was among the members who were added to the photo.

Just the usual from Nancy, she makes up her own reality world. Evidently she has staff that are experienced at creating phony photos.

Sorry, I forgot..Nancy was also the one who provided her signature on an altered document certifying that Obama was eligible to be the democrat candidate for President. Perhaps her staff also created "the" birth certificate.

There is a taunting sickness about this woman. She has no limits to disgusting behavior. She can shove anything she wants in our faces and smirk the whole time she´s doing it. How on earth did we end up with people like this running our country. We desperately need term limits.

Nan is following Stalin´s tradition, isn´t she.
Ol´ Uncle Joe used to have his henchmen cut out the faces of his enemies from official photographs in an effort to erase them from the memories of the people. It was crude, but old Soviet Russia didn´t have sophisticated technology. They would have loved Photoshop.

The photo is a minor thing by itself, but it illustrates the mindset of this megalomaniacal fossil. She will get what she wants even if she has to fool people or even cheat to get it. We already knew that about her.

These remarks do not constitute much of a defense. They don´t seem to amount to anything besides a plea for expediency. By such a standard, virtually anything would be allowed. It is, no doubt, a small thing to alter a photograph and create a misleading, though ultimately inconsequential impression. Yet in another way, it is a big thing. It is dishonest. And it is characteristic of the fast and loose relationship many Democrats have with the literal, factual truth. Their truth is a higher truth - the Truth of ideology. We have seen how this attitude allows them to maintain the truthiness of falsehoods that could have been true, and to dismiss errors of fact as of little or no importance if they contradict the Truth of ideology.

The work was sloppy. If you are going to photoshop something, at least try to make it believable. Must be some affirmative-action people on the photoshop staff. No pride of workmanship or just not enough intelligence to do the job right. People just want to get paid.

It´s just a petty example of the way liberals are willing to make the truth to be as they think it should be…not as it is. In this case truth is…not all the people were there.
Liberals think: "so we´ll add the ones missing. What´s the big deal?!"
The big deal is that the same philosophy is applied to Birth Certificates, Benghazi, Hillary´s ´illness,´ etc., etc.
"The truth is what I believe it to be. If I believe something is true…then for me it is true."
Odds are if, a year from now, someone asked Pelosi if all the women attended the photo-op she would swear they were all there…and she has a picture to prove it!

There are tons of things to despise about Pelosi but this isn´t one of them. I recently wished I had the expertise in photoshopping to add a staff member to a photo for a newsletter instead of superimposing a cropped head. It´s better than a "not pictured" blurb at the bottom.

I wonder if she used the same photographer that did the situation room photo during the Bin Laden raid?
Seriously, though, this seems pretty trivial, she wanted a picture of ALL the Dem female members and a few didn´t make it... it´s not as though this was an alibi photo in a criminal case.

Obama and Syria — this dog ain’t wagging. The Obama administration has reached the unenviable stage in which it’s almost impossible to determine where one scandal ends and another begins. The most recent case in point is President Obama’s decision to kinda sorta intervene in the Syrian civil war that is now in its third year.Consider the statement issued by the brother of CBS News president David Rhodes on Thursday. Former Vice President Dick Cheney sees Edward Snowden as a "traitor" for revealing classified information about U.S. surveillance programs and that he´s done some of the worst damage to national security in recent history. "I think he has committed crimes in effect by violating agreements given the position he had. He was a contractor employee, but he obviously was granted top secret clearance," Cheney said on "Fox News Sunday."

As the post’s community-liaison officer, Howard was charged with keeping workplace peace and advising higher-ups on the state of morale, but when she revealed allegations about her boss, State Department officials swept it under the rug,

Last month, as part of its last-page "Lives" feature, The New York Times Magazine published an article by Noah Gallagher Shannon called "The Plane Was About to Crash. Now What?" It described the author´s experience on a 2011 flight whose track is shown above: It was headed to Denver from Washington´s National Airport, but turned back after 20 minutes of flying time and made an unscheduled landing in Philadelphia.

Last week, The Guardian and The Washington Post got their hands on a big story about the National Security Agency and its alleged connection to a handful of giant tech companies. The bombshell stories in both publications carried the by-lines of experienced reporters. The Guardian’s Glenn Greenwald, a well-known political commentator who also holds a law degree, has been covering national security issues for nearly a decade, and the Post’s Barton Gellman is a Pulitzer Prize winner who has a distinguished record covering privacy and security issues.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. "Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity--symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others--these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it,"

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

The May 17 deposition where she made the alleged admissions is part of a $1.2 million lawsuit brought by Lisa Jackson, the former manager of a Savannah, Georgia, restaurant run by Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers. Jackson alleges in the suit that Deen used the N-word at the restaurant and that Hiers sexually harassed her. According to the reports, in the deposition, Deen replied “Yes, of course,”

This is the thirtieth anniversary of the publication of How Democracies Perish, an analysis of the spread of world communism by Jean-François Revel, one of freedom´s most serious French defenders since Tocqueville. At the heart of this work, Revel details "The Tools of Communist Expansion," among which the most relevant for understanding our current situation comes in Chapter 16, "Ideological Warfare and Disinformation." The profound simplicity of Revel´s nuts and bolts account of totalitarianism´s Cold War advance, far from being obsolete
