Sandy Victim: Obama
is a ‘Straight Out Liar’

National Review Online, by Nathaniel Botwinick

Original Article

Another of Hurricane Sandy’s victims expressed his disgust with the president this afternoon: “He’s a phony, he’s a liar. Straight out liar. He said to me, face to face, that, ‘he’s going to cut the red tape.’ We’re two months now, and no red tapes been cut. He told me things are going to be taken care of, FEMA has to listen to him.” Also, as a bonus, wait for his take on the extension of unemployment benefits.

It´s rather sad that it takes something like a hurricane before people actually notice that the *only* genuine concern Obama has - is for *his* ego. Most of us wised up to that fact about 45 minutes after he was sworn in the 1st time.

America is one giant photo-op for the clown in chief. In a equitable world, his nose would put Pinocchio´s on the short list...

Don´t these people understand that B.O. is on vacation? /s

What the vacation cost could probably pay for the rehab of an entire block on Staten Island.

I was too hasty! After watching his video tirade, he may NOT have voted for Obama.

It may be unfair to the president to call him a liar and a phony over something like this. He could well have meant what he said when he said it. It just wasn´t important enough to him to remember and to do anything about.

The silence and torpor of the Republicans in failing to parlay this and other missteps by the administration into political muscle is, of course, typical. Our team doesn´t know how to play anything but defense - and as we have seen, they are not all that great at that.

The Republican party, like the NRA, desperately needs the services of a top notch PR firm.

Four years ago, voters are forgiven, this time around, obama voters are brain dead.

#3 A lot of people were on to this loser long BEFORE he was elected in ´08 and that makes it very hard to understand why so many still don´t see him for what he is.

Liar is quite accurate. Obama knew that the constraints could not be loosened.

If Obama had paid any attention to the past four years, he would know it is impossible to cut red tape for anything but immediate emergency supplies - food, water, emergency shelter. In this day and age, the ´Alfie DoLittles´ are legion - They will find a way to consume any and all relief funding available (think debit cards for Grey Goose vodka and casino holidays).

There is a phrase to define the huge numbers of people who listed hurricane Sandy as their primary concern in choosing a presidential candidate.

"USEFUL IDIOT"

The only people dumber than people that would build their houses below sea level are the people that believes anything that Obama says.

Sandy is Obama´s Katrina, and the media is giving him a pass. Most of the Katrina victims were portrayed by the media as poor blacks, while most of the Sandy victims are portrayed as middle class caucasians. In either case the federal government is showing it´s total incompetence in handling major disasters.

This guy got it part right when he said Barry is a liar. What he failed to say is Staten Island and Long Island are whitey strongholds. If it were black strongholds (or muslim for that matter), money would have been no object. Got 5 cars? No problem. Here´s a check for new cadillacs. Need money? Here´s lots of cash on a cash card and feel free to buy jewelry and go to casinos, etc.

Eric Holder versus journalism

Attorney General Eric Holder personally signed off on the warrant naming Fox News journalist James Rosen a “possible co-conspirator” in violation of the Espionage Act, Michael Isikoff reported yesterday. Which is sort of awkward, because Barack Obama also yesterday told the country (the whole country) that he didn’t want to criminalize reporting, and that he was going to ask his Justice Department to make sure not to do that anymore. Rosen wasn’t charged. In truth, the government never really intended on charging him. (Snip)That’s the scandal: That the government could charge a journalist with, effectively, spying, simply for reporting.

Of all the scandals in his administration that President Obama knows nothing about, the one Americans find most appalling is the decision by the Internal Revenue Service to target the president’s political adversaries. What’s more, as subsequent congressional testimony has made clear, the IRS isn’t particularly repentant about its actions. One thing Republicans and Democrats should therefore be able to agree on is that this is no time to significantly expand the IRS’s power. Yet that is exactly what will happen under Obamacare if no action is taken. A simple proposal: Remove the IRS from any role

Rookie Florida Senator Marco Rubio continues to work tirelessly to get the United States to annex Mexico, though an exhaustive (and exhausting) search of his 2010 election campaign reveals no promises to do, nor even a mention that he might consider doing such an outlandish thing. Au the contraire, the pre-election Rubio said all the right things about line-cutters and lawbreakers. That’s one of the reasons he’s a senator today. There are only two sure consequences of the current 800-page immigration hairball before Congress. The first is that a minimum of 11 million citizens of other countries, more Mexicans

President Obama dreamily wants

President Obama declared on Thursday that it’s time for the U.S. to leave behind the global war on terror. He might first try convincing America’s war-waging global enemies to do the same. Almost a dozen years after 9/11, the President wishfully hopes to demilitarize national security in the age of Islamist radicalism. He judges the country ready for such a step because a long fight has markedly degraded the attacking capacities of Al Qaeda and affiliates. Even so, Obama dared not utter the word victory in his address at the National Defense University, because plainly the hostiles are still coming

In a strange true-life story that seems ripped from TV crime drama (rather than the other way around), a New York City man was kidnapped and held for ransom for over a month, before the NYPD rescued him this week. Pedro Portugal was grabbed off the street in broad daylight on April 18, and held hostage in a Queens warehouse (pictured above) while a group of men attempted to extract a $3 million ransom from his family in Ecuador. Police in both countries (with the help of the State Department) tracked down the kidnappers,

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

Amid catcalls from a Leftist heckler too blitheringly stupid to understand her dream was coming true, President Obama yesterday declared his intention to end the War on Terror — not quite 12 years since the 9/11 attacks. In what may have been the most important speech of his presidency, Obama said he would ask Congress to join him in efforts to “refine, and ultimately repeal,” the Authorization to Use Military Force passed three days after 9/11. In other words, he intends to write the War on Terror out of US law. “This war, like all wars, must end,” he said.

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
