It may be unfair to the president to call him a liar and a phony over something like this. He could well have meant what he said when he said it. It just wasn´t important enough to him to remember and to do anything about.

If Obama had paid any attention to the past four years, he would know it is impossible to cut red tape for anything but immediate emergency supplies - food, water, emergency shelter. Sandy is Obama´s Katrina, and the media is giving him a pass. Most of the Katrina victims were portrayed by the media as poor blacks, while most of the Sandy victims are portrayed as middle class caucasians.
