Grief in the Oval Office: Picture

since massacre

Daily Mail [UK] & Associated Press, by Staff

This photograph, released by the White House on Thursday, reveals the terrible moment when President Barack Obama was told the shocking news about the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The President, who has described the day of the shootings as the ‘worst day of my presidency,’ is seen bowing his head and closing his eyes as John Brennan, his deputy national security adviser, informs him about the tragic events unfolding in Newtown, Connecticut. In the wake of the tragedy, the president has tasked his deputy Joe Biden with leading a task force

Comments:
It´s always about 0bama. He and his regime are reprehensible! This was so unnecessary. They´re winding up for his Executive Order on gun control.

Why would a photographer be there for the moment he is told? More ridiculous, self-serving BS for his moronic followers.

Interesting body language that conveys nothing about shock or horror. Based on what I´ve seen from him, I´ll guess he was thinking "Crisis? Opportunity".

The presidential photographer follows the president everywhere - which is why I`m wondering why we haven`t seen the photo of Obama smoking out behind the WH.

Just remember folks---EVERYTHING in this admin. is processed--everything is as planned.

Including all staged events passed off as ´current events´.

I am not insensitive whatsoever, but this ´event´ at Sandy Hook is not all as it seems, as far as a stand alone one-time event. There will be fingerprints assigned to this tragedy the trail of which leads back to DC....

As I commented earlier this week, Fast and Furious failed; so try, try, again.

Can we finally impeach boy in ´13?

Where is the photo of him being told of the Benghazi attack?
Where is the photo of him ordering the military to stand down and let the terrorists kill all the Americans?

Where?
Where are the survivors?

Now how do we really know that for sure? Because they told us? And I agree with #3´s assessment.

There was a picture taken of President GWB, at an elementary school, on 9/11/01 when he first was told about the terrorist attacks.

Obama has said the Sandy Hook shootings were the worst day of his presidency. There had to be a picture of him getting the news, even if he was sitting on the back of a sofa inside the WH.

Now, if Obama had any sense of theatrics and production value, he would have collapsed to his knees, shaked his clenched fist at an unseen God and screamed, "WHY? WHY? WHY?!!"
He needs to work on his timing.

Some of the soppy Mail writers rival Chris Matthews for emetic comments. They are so in the tank for Obie.

WH photographer Pete Souza must get no sleep. Has to follow Obie around all the time to catch his reactions.

The Mail is laying on thy sarcasm with the biggest palette knife known to the art world. We are to believe that Obama happened to be half-sitting on the back of a sofa when he was given the news. Is he supposed to have fallen back in shock?

I wonder how long it took to stage the photo.

YES, THIS IS A PHOTO OP. Sorry to be yelling. A caller today to the Todd Schnitt show worked in the White House for years, retired now in Tampa. Todd had his producer check the caller out and was sure he was telling the truth. Caller said the Oval is basically only used for photo ops, there is a private office behind one of the doors where the president works. And he said yes, this is a photo op.

Researchers at Princeton and Northwestern universities have pored over 1,800 US policies and concluded that America is an oligarchy. Instead of looking out for the majority of the country’s citizens, the US government is ruled by the interests of the rich and the powerful, they found. No great surprises there, then. But the government is not the only American power whose motivations need to be rigourously examined. Some 2,400 miles away from Washington, in Silicon Valley, Google is aggressively gaining power with little to keep it in check. It has cosied up to governments around the world so effectively that its chairman,

Then-Sens. Joe Biden and John Kerry were both opposed to Hillary Clinton’s 1993 health-care reform program, according to documents released by the Clinton presidential library. Clinton marked a handwritten “No” beside Biden’s name on Clinton’s list of Capitol Hill lawmakers that she needed to win over for her universal health care law, known as the “Clinton health plan” or “Hillarycare,” to pass. John Kerry, meanwhile, was marked with a “Probably not.” “Hillarycare” ended up dying in the Democratic-controlled Senate in 1994 without coming to a floor vote. Wayne Crews of the Competitive Enterprise Institute and Alexis de Tocqueville, author of the classic Democracy in America, were born in different times and places. But the French aristocrat and American think tanker have the measure of the federal behemoth in the age of Obama. Writing in 1835, Tocqueville eloquently predicted how it would function, while Crews today supplies in his annual compilation of federal rules and regulations, “10,000 Commandments,” the hard numbers that describe the behemoth´s contemporary reach and costs. It is always worthwhile to revisit de Tocqueville’s description of what he called the

The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls.
