Government unemployment numbers for December showed that while the general unemployment rate remained flat at 7.8 percent, unemployment for women and African-Americans rose despite an economy that created 155,000 jobs. Unemployment for women rose to 7.3 percent in December from 7.0 percent while the rate for African-Americans rose sharply to 14.0 percent from 13.2 percent in November. Unemployment among African Americans has remained quite high throughout the sluggish economic recovery of the past several years

It is much easier to have lots of kids and remain on welfare- multiple daddies are no where in sight for support. They also have an attitude problem and have had for years.

Do the math! Even if one doubles the 14% figure to account for stat errors and those who have dropped out of the labor force, Black EMPLOYMENT would stand at 72%...fair to say Zero´s economic policies have devastated Black employment, but unfair to spread the myth that we prefer a welfare check to a job in the face of our demonstrable historic work ethic...

The real numbers in the report are awful. 500,000 fewer Americans working last month, 224,000 left the work force, 176,000 new workers entered the work force. But add in a little seasonal adjustment, some hocus pocus and 155,000 jobs added.

Before Congress is finished with the Internal Revenue Service, there’s a serious danger some of us are going to wind up feeling sorry for the auditors.And, honestly, that is not the way we were planning on spending the spring. New Orleans police have released a video that shows a possible suspect in the shooting that wounded 19 people at a Mother´s Day parade. The surveillance video shows the crowd dispersing and some falling to the ground before one person in a white T-shirt and dark pants flees. The image of the man isn´t clear but police say they hope someone will recognize him. The wounded included 10 adult men and seven women as well as a boy and a girl, both 10.
