Mia Farrow Hearts Chris Christie
(for Blasting Republicans)

The Left´s love affair with N.J. Gov. Chris Christie continues ... so long as the outspoken pol is trashing his own party. Christie made headlines today by blaming the death of a Hurricane Sandy relief bill loaded with pork squarely on the GOP. “There is only one group to blame,” he ranted. “The House Majority and John Boehner. Last night, the House Majority failed the basic test of leadership and they did so with callous disregard to the people of my state. It was disappointing and disgusting to watch. Shame on you, shame on Congress.” That sentiment earned kudos

The love-fest starts. First with Mia, then probably Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi and whoever else needs some press exposure.

Republican now means moderate at best. Christie may well change his affiliation, but if "Republican" is the only alternative to "leftist/Marxist" conservatism has no voice Christie may be reelected as a "Republican." It´s really time for a third party. I think conservatives would abandon the Republican party in droves for a party with true conservatism at its core, making the Republican Party even less relevant than it already is. Who will start it?

After the Sandy relief bill passes, Christie will declare he had enough of the Republican party and is switching parties. Feel free to chime in if I am wrong.

Mia Farrow...the one who married that sleaze Woody Allen? The same Woody Allen who molested then married one of the kids he adopted with Mia Farrow. That Mia Farrow?

What revelance does she/would she ever have to any debate?

I need to stop reading and commenting on this stuff.

Christie needs to shut his pie hole.

Christie has never been a conservative. He made his bones with conservative types by using his unfiltered, bombastic opinions. Now that he is "feeling all the love" from his true compatriots, he has lost all hope of ever attaining his real goal; that of Republican nominee for POTUS.

Besides, anyone that fat has a discipline and apetite (not hunger) issue.

When I see Christie, I see Obama walking at his side (what did you get for that, Christie?), or on SNL, telling jokes while Sandy victims freeze. Now Christie wants other peoples money. Maybe Christie can go back on The View and explain why he is fat again.

Who cares what Mia Farrow thinks? She is just a third-rate actress with no formal education that I am aware of. She doesn´t even live in New Jersey. As for Christie, he is a big--and I do mean big--disappointment.

Christie is well aware that that bill is loaded with pork that has nothing to do with hurricane victims. But he isn´t mentioning that. Just beating up on the Republicans to rubber stamp the thing so he gets what he wants out of it. I don´t think it should even be passed in its current state.

The reason why Mia Farrow was so successful at playing the incredibly shallow, self-absorbed, out of touch, snobbish, thinks-she´s-better-looking-than-she-is goofball whore in 1974´s "The Great Gatsby" is she simply walked on the set in period fashions and played herself.

Thank Schumer and Jillian, the two NJ Senators that loaded the relief bill with $34 BILLION IN PORK. The Senate had gone home and that bill needed to be discussed and the pork split out. Get the real info Christie and all you jumping to unreal conclussions. $34 Billion in pork is more than they requested for relief.

The White House’s explanation of what it knew about the investigation into the IRS’s scrutiny of conservative political groups and how it planned for the eventual release of that information shifted once again Tuesday. Just a day after telling reporters that chief of staff Denis McDonough and other senior White House staff learned of the situation nearly a month ago, press secretary Jay Carney revealed Tuesday that White House officials had consulted with the Treasury Department on how to make the findings public.(Snip) Carney said he hadn’t revealed more information about which officials

Douglas Shulman, the former commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, said today he was “dismayed and saddened” that his agency had improperly targeting conservative groups, but declined to offer a direct apology and dismissed suggestions that he mislead Congress. The testimony from Shulman, who was making his first public appearance since the IRS controversy broke into the open two weeks ago, did not satisfy members of the Senate Finance Committee. He faced more than three hours of stern questioning from Democrats and Republicans, but said “I don’t believe I was aware” when asked

For a "failed scandal," Fast and Furious sure brought out the heavy hitters at the Department of Justice to deal with a whistleblower. The department´s inspector general has released a report accusing one US attorney, Dennis Burke, of leaking a document that smeared John Dodson, a key witness in the Fast and Furious scandal, and accusing other officials in the department of coming up with a strategy to discredit him. Breitbart: The DOJ IG said it found "Burke´s conduct in disclosing the Dodson memorandum to be inappropriate for a Department employee and wholly unbefitting a U.S. Attorney."

Officials in the White House discussed how and when the Internal Revenue Service would tell the public that the agency had targeted political groups, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday. Carney said that Mark Childress, the White House deputy chief of staff, twice spoke with officials at the Treasury Department about the strategy for revealing conservative targeting. Childress and the Treasury officials discussed the possibility that Lois Lerner, the IRS official who oversaw the agency´s tax-exempt organization, would reveal that an inspector general´s investigation had found

Devastated families are frantically searching for their young children after an elementary school was flattened by a monster two-mile wide tornado in Moore, Oklahoma on Monday, leaving dozens dead. Initial reports said as many as 91 people could have been killed in the tragedy, but officials confirmed on Tuesday morning there have been 24 deaths, including nine children and four in Oklahoma City. They explained that some had originally been counted twice amid the chaos. Officials, who warned that the death toll could rise, said 237 people were injured in the storm and that searches are continuing

A federal court in San Francisco Tuesday struck down Arizona´s ban on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the law violates a string of U.S. Supreme Court rulings starting with Roe v. Wade that guarantees a woman´s right to an abortion before a fetus is able to survive outside the womb. That´s generally considered to be about 24 weeks. Normal pregnancies run about 40 weeks. Several states have enacted similar bans starting at 20 weeks. But the 9th Circuit´s ruling is binding only in the nine Western states

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.
