As 2d term looms, Obama´s Hope and
Change become Fear and Gloom

With all the fuss over political cliff dives and President Obama´s gaffes, this fresh Gallup Poll almost slipped by unnoticed. Faced with the prospect of 1,478 more days of empty Obama promises and speeches, at least half of Americans have now decided that America´s best days are behind us. While whopping majorities expect this year´s economy will remain troubled. That federal deficits will continue. That crime will increase. Taxes too. Along with foreign turmoil. While America´s influence and power decline globally.

If one tried hard, one could almost understand why some voted for Obama the first time round, but to do so the second time with all that was shown about his leadership , is not understandable. What did these voters expect the future to be? This is just the beginning guys. Let the pain begin!

This man is a star. He sheds any pretense of PC and tells Americans how stupid we´ve become.

It gives them a raste of the way many Americans view what most of those clowns do most of the time. It is abundantly clear, most Congress Critters are there for themselves, not J. Q. Public.

Obama is simply an update of the "It´s a black thing, you wouldn´t understand" slogan seen in Manhattan during Winnie Mandela´s visit to the US. Under accusations of murdering her opponents and encouraging revenge through the gasoline soaked tire "necklace", Mandela was warming received in progressive black circles. Obama is treated much the same way was he encourages supporters to put economic tires around our necks

The Constitution was written by old white men who owned slaves, so it cannot apply to Obama,

He knew that the unemployment will rise and hence the 2yr guaranteed unemployment benefit. And does he really care about anyone after the 2014 elections? Ofcourse not!!

Fear is correct. The largest increase in gun sales is in D.C.? Feeling guilty folks?

Disaster is coming, and after 40 years of embracing abortion, after imposing homosexuality on school children and our military, and after reelecting Obama in hopes of "more free stuff," it couldn´t be coming on a more deserving people.

Was talking with a service member yesterday. The Military is afraid that Obama is going to send them all overseas, then pretty much as the UN to send ´peacekeepers´ into the US to pacify the country.
They also believe that with the way Obama is getting rid of our nukes that Russia or China will be using theirs on us pretty soon.
They are not happy campers.

These numbers are a further indications the election was STOLEN!! I don´t understand why more isn´t being made of this

I think the only ones apprehensive about the next four years are the producing 47 or 48% of the population. The rest will go along fat, dumb, happy and using up those minutes on the Obamaphones.

It´s great, isn´t it, to see Barack Obama, the ex-state senator, getting along so well with Vladimir Putin, the former Russian KGB chief? Things must be hunky-dory between the world´s top two nuclear powers, just as Obama promised during his secret whispers in Seoul last year. Why wouldn´t the two be smiling for the cameras? The obedient media is serving up the official Pablum it’s fed. [Snip] And Michelle Obama is touristing in Dublin with her daughters. Never mind sequester, all three get suites with Mrs. Obama´s costing American taxpayers $3,300 per night.

I’ve got some jokes I don’t want the government to hear. Leno: Eliot Spitzer and John Edwards both have birthdays the other day. Which explains why no strippers were available for other parties. Fallon: Hillary Clinton finally joined Twitter and got more than 200,000 followers in five hours. They were like, “Hillary in 2016!” and “Washington needs Hillary!” “Hillary for the White House!” That´s not her followers. Those were her tweets.

Hi, everybody. This Sunday is Father’s Day, and so I wanted to take a moment to talk about the most important job many of us will ever have — and that’s being a dad. Today we’re blessed to live in a world where technology allows us to connect instantly with just about anyone on the planet. But no matter how advanced we get, there will never be a substitute for the love and support and, most importantly, the presence of a parent in a child’s life. And in many ways, that’s uniquely true for fathers.

Sen. Lamar Alexander gives the Republican Party Weekly Remarks I’m United States Senator Lamar Alexander. This is the season for high school graduations. And more than two million of those graduating are going to college. Both Republicans and Democrats agree that college is the surest ticket to the middle class and we want to help by making it simpler and smarter to get a student loan. [Snip] But we have a major disagreement about who should be in charge of our 100,000 public schools that educate 50 million American children. To put it simply, Democrats want a national school board; Republicans favor local control.

An amazing scene in Boston yesterday. Barack Obama returned to the city of one of his biggest triumphs (his 2004 Democrat convention speech) and one of his worst political spankings (the 2010 repudiation by Massachusetts Senate voters of his candidate). Those were tough days for the ex-state legislator, you may recall. Virginia voters had just rejected Obama´s choice for governor. New Jersey voters had just rejected Obama´s choice for governor. [Snip] And now here’s Obama trying to salvage another race with hypocrisy.

Barack Obama: Real Good Talker,
Really Bad Communicator

Once upon a time Barack Obama was known as a good speech-giver. That´s how he debuted in 2004 and why he almost always relies on a teleprompter; so he can concentrate on delivery, not content. Does he even know how often rote he sounds? Watch him on these day-trip photo ops. He´s a tired actor in a long-running Broadway play, reciting the same lines over and over with less and less conviction. For the summit with China´s new president, America´s first lady didn´t bother to go. [Snip] Turns out, Obama might sound good. But he´s actually an awful communicator.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. And Sarah blasted him on Twitter as a bully. Is that, is it, is he a bully? Is he a bad, what is he?

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Jeb Bush says he’s not worried that his work toward comprehensive immigration reform and his ties to the GOP establishment will alienate conservatives and negatively impact a potential 2016 presidential campaign, referring to critics as “the chirpers.” “If I decide to run for office again, it will be based on what I believe, and it will be based on my record,” the former Florida governor said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody. “And that record was one of solving problems completely from a conservative prospective.” Bush (R) pointed to his conservative

Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:

Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels. President Barack Obama made the pledge earlier this week after the U.S. claimed it found ´conclusive evidence´ Assad´s regime has used chemical weapons against the rebel forces--which includes the most extreme Sunni Islamists--and has called for Britain and France to back the move. While Britain hasn´t made a guarantee either way as yet, more than 350 Royal Marines are being sent to Jordan

Is Marco Rubio, R-Fla., getting played by Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.? During his interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl this morning, Rubio didn’t even seem to understand what that meant. “Are you being played by the Democrats?” asked Karl. “Is Chuck Schumer playing you?” “I don’t — I quite frankly, I don’t even know what that means,” Rubio replied. “Is he using you?” Karl continued. “Is he using you to try to accomplish something that the Democrats want and is not — not a conservative bill?” Rubio responded that immigration reform was a bi-partisan issue that “all Americans
