| At a Brady Center event to “Prevent Gun Violence by Jodie Foster Fans from Accidentally Hitting White House Press Secretaries in the Head” the Brady Center Legal Action Project Director asked retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens whether having a right to a cell phone might be a more universal form of self-defense than gun ownership. “Maybe you have some kind of constitutional right to have a cell phone with a predialed 911 number at your bedside, and that might provide you with a little better protection than a gun, which you’re not used to using,” Justice Stevens mumbled.

When seconds count to save you life your cell phone takes 45 to connect, then the 911 operator takes 30 then police are but 15 minutes away. Have a nice funeral!

It is impossible to figure out the mind process of liberals. It is bound to be a birth defect. There surely is a gene responsible for logical thought and the ability to discern factual information. Liberals seem to have that genetic defect. There is no educating them. They must be defeated.

I live a few miles from the police station, in a wooded rural area. I think the cops in this small town are afraid of the dark, as they only are seen (rarely) in daytime.

One of the greatest obstacles to clear thinking and problem solving is having a ´preferred´ solution.
EG- That´s why (assuming similar skill level) a disinterested person can trouble shoot an automobile problem better than it´s owner.
The owner wants the problem to be small and cheap to fix. This clouds his vision and thinking.
Liberals NEED the world to be a particular way....warm,fuzzy,fun,fair,secure etc.
Makes them lousy trouble-shooters.
Too emotionally invested.

I recall back in the 2008 campaign, or thereabouts, when Michelle Obama visited a rural area in a midwestern state.
And as she looked around, she was quoted as saying ´I see why people need guns out here to protect themselves.´
Yet she would not say the same thing about the south side of chicago, where the need for guns for honest people is way greater than in that rural area.

Nobody drowned or died at Watergate. Nor was the First Amendment done away with. It’s time to quit referring to the White House’s current plethora of scandals as “Gates”. There is no Benghazi Gate. Watergate was a bungled break in. The Obama administration’s current round of scandals shouldn’t be diminished by comparisons to something as relatively trivial as Watergate. An American ambassador and three courageous Americans died at Benghazi and we still don’t have the slightest idea where the Commander in Chief was during the eight hour fire fight.

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals to join the organization. Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.
