A Twist in the Benghazi Saga
Daily Beast, by Eli Lake

If you thought the Benghazi saga ended last month when a State Department review concluded that a handful of State Department middle managers failed to provide adequate security for the U.S. mission, think again: it may no longer be dominating headlines, but with multiple active congressional investigations and an ongoing attempt to hunt down the perpetrators, the story of Benghazi is far from over. The biggest recent development—which was overshadowed by the fiscal cliff negotiations—came on New Year’s Eve, when the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee released a report

Left unsaid is that the trail leads back to the State Dept and the WH.

I don´t understand why any American is allowed to be in any of these countries ruled by Islamists. Do you have to actually see a Christian´s throat slit before you get the idea?

I watched the first testimony before the House. One thing I that stood out was that starting in the spring of 2012, each time the ambassador came under attack, he was stripped of some of his security detail. Happened, I believe, three times up until August. Then he was slaughtered in September. I wonder why obama wanted this man dead?

When did the Benghazi story "dominate headlines"? When were there even mention of Benghazi in any of the lamestream media?
Guess I missed it.

Hope this Benghazi incident is investigated continuously until we know "all the truth." This story is so frustrating, sad and outrageous. I can only imagine how these four brave and loyal Americans´ families are dealing with it. One of the saddest and most disgraceful chapters in our history.

Notice how there has historically been no military response to Al Qaeda/terrorist attacks overseas against American interests when a democrat rat sits in the White House?
It´s just more, "Oh well, move on, sweep it under the rug, try to forget about it, must have been our fault-we were on their turf". The apathy, appeasement, capitulation is amazing.

No. 4 may be on to something. Read up on the Chicago´s Trinity United Church murders. Three young, gay men - all known associates of BO, were murdered within a month´s time just before BO began his presidential run. BO has never commented on the murders. Wonder what they could have said?

It is perfectly clear that State and the WH watched these people die and withheld aid. Why they didn’t want them to survive is unknown, but the fact that they refused them protection before 9/11, and refused them help on the night of the attack is beyond debate. Finally, when the news of the attack and the fatalities broke, they launched a program of deceit to hide their actions from the public, and the Secretary of State has twice dodged testimony under oath, and the president shrugs it all off as sloppy work.

Only 4 Americans killed?? Where are the 30+ individuals that were airlifted out of Benghazi, some of whom were wounded in the fire fight. According to lsm they don´t nor ever existed, where and who are they--they could add a lot to the truth!

Two members of Trinity church were murdered--the third person died of aids related illness. There has been little or no investigation concerning the murders. Donald Young let Larry Sinclair know he and obama had intimate relations. The church apparently facilitated the matching of the down low club. The rev. Wright was deeply involved per many reports on this subject.

Very strange Stevens´ father came out within days of the murders in Benghazi to just let it rest and not report more in the news. Does make one wonder what zero had on Stevens.

There is little doubt Bamster is going to be a hated man at some point.
With luck, that will happen with Obamacare in 2014, prior to the midterm elections.

The only account I have read of this that ties it together and makes sense of it came to the conclusion that Stevens was CIA, the entire Behghazi operation was a CIA operation collecting weapons and sending them to Syria through Turkey. In that scenario, the 30 Americans pulled out would have been scattered to the wind, unavailable for questions, if you even knew their real names.

The attack in Benghazi could have been just the follow up of the roll-up of the CIA operations in Lebanon by Hezbollah, or it could have been part of internal fighting between Hezbollah, the muslim brotherhood, alquaeda, and other radical groups. Just because they are all muslim does not mean they are all working together, and to understand the Benghazi attack it is probably necessary to first understand the interests and natural alliances of all the various groups in play in Syria. For this the American press is absolutely useless. For starters, remember that Alqaeda gets its financing from Saudis, Hezbollah is an arm or Iran, and the Saudis and Iran are enemies. Get the picture?

Why isn´t Obama questioned by the "press" whenever he appears, the way people like Sam Donaldson and Dan Rather hounded Reagan? Why is Obama untouchable?

Dittos #19 - I was thinking the same thing about the mysterious 30 other persons who were saved that night in Benghazi. If the "Consulate" was mainly a CIA operation and those 30 "persons" were all CIA operatives, then that would be a good reason why these people are "unavailable" for questioning. They don´t want to identify who those people are. That also lends more credence to the CIA operation explanation.

He is the Manchurian candidate. The puppet to ValJar´s puppet-master. They give him what he wants to satiate his numerous habits and inflated ego (i.e.: drugs, sex, travel, expensive gifts...whatever) and he gets up in front of the world and says, in his oh so sophisticated baritone, what they want him to say.

Anyone or anything gets in the way, they ´deal´ with it. But they can´t even do that quietly.

It´s that simple. We have wannabe Chicago thugs running the most powerful country in the history of the world.....and Republicans...at least most of them....can only suck their thumbs and weep.

Pathetic.

So what happens next? Well, it´s simple really. What happens when you discipline a spoiled child? They throw a tantrum.

That´s what is coming our way, eventually. Only these spoiled children are evil and have no problem hurting us to get their way. They are, in effect, Adam Lanza.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will leave Tuesday for a four-nation trip to Asia, looking to recharge a focus on the region, an ambitious initiative that’s been sidetracked by domestic politics and international conflicts elsewhere. Yet even as Obama attempts to boost his effort to emphasize U.S. interest in Asia, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intervention in Ukraine is complicating efforts to reassure Asian nations _ which share the region with an increasingly assertive China - that the U.S. is committed to their security. The administration’s efforts to refocus U.S. policy toward Asia were already being questioned in the region with the departure

One of the Obama administration’s favorite themes is the idea that Republicans have been waging a “war on women.” Though Democrats may overestimate the appeal of this canard, the notion that troglodyte conservatives seek to send American women back to the 19th century has become a form of conventional wisdom, especially in the liberal mainstream media. But though that war is a piece of fakery rooted in the confusion between political liberalism and gender equality, there is little doubt about the reality of another war on women: the one that is being waged by left-wing ideologues against any female Republican

Turning the tables remains the first refuge of liars called on their mendacity. “I was hurt,” Elizabeth Warren relays in her new autobiography, “and I was angry.” The second-year senator speaks of her 2012 political opponent using her claims of Native American ancestry against her during the campaign. Elizabeth Warren could pass for Bull Connor’s sister. She couldn’t pass for Sitting Bull’s second cousin five times removed. So when the 2012 debate descended into genealogists arguing over whether Warren’s great-great-great grandmother was or wasn’t partly Cherokee, the law-professor-turned-candidate winning the question meant that she had already lost it. President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls.
