| A rough two-month stretch has left Speaker John A. Boehner facing a growing rebellion within his party ahead of a vote on whether he will continue to lead the House when the 113th Congress convenes Thursday. No challenger had stepped forward as of Wednesday evening, making it unlikely that Mr. Boehner will fall — even if it takes him several ballots to win the speakership. But the growing complaints signal a rocky road for the Ohio Republican in the months ahead as he tries to negotiate on debt and spending fights that are likely to dominate the next two years.

Paul Ryan was out debated by Joe Biden -- the dumbest man in the Senate 30 years running.
Boehner is not the problem, wackos like Levin, Akin, Mourdock, Angle, O´Donnell, and Buck are the problem. Hopefully the bomb shelter crowd will leave and go start their third party already. The Constitution Party and the laurouche people need some competition and the GOP needs some credibility --desperately. Viva John Boehner.

Boehner´s biggest problem is he doesn´t have puplic sentiment behind him or the GOP right now. At the same time,every one of Obama´s sub groups,includingthe media is behind him.
Nobody I´ve sen or read had a breakout idea about the cliff except go over it.The entire basis for doing that would be to protect rich people´s tax rate which isn´t a huge winner.
Another part of the problem is the GOP may have agreed with the cliff deal last year,thinking theyre were going to take the WH back.
The other thing republicans have lost ground on is the debt/deficit. Not enough people give a crap about it anymore because their eyes just glaze over the numbers.
Now,Boehner´s catching hell over holding up the pork laden Sandy bill.He just can´t win.

Clearly putting rinos in power has not worked on any level for a long time, except to maintain power for rinos.
The communists have been walking all over America for years now, and all the GOP does is dust off the mat for them. Since they won´t change, maybe its time to change them.

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. He said it isn´t difficult to figure out who´s doing what at the agency.

It began in earnest last Friday. A flash mob of latte drinking, tofu eating media that has done its best to quell, rather than fan the flames of truth, turned on one of their own. Jay Carney lay bludgeoned at the base of the podium, a victim of friendly fire. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued.
