| Head injuries are no joke, but the backlash against those who initially questioned whether Hillary Clinton’s concussion was for real seems like an overreaction, too; you don’t have to be hateful to have wondered if she really had the flu and fell down right before she was supposed to testify about the security situation at our consulate that was really just a house in Benghazi, Libya, where four Americans were killed by terrorists in September. After all, public officials are routinely less than forthcoming about their health,

Yet again, the MSM is providing cover and offering excuses. All the garbage about FDR and Kennedy is rationalization. Two or three wrongs don´t make a right.

Paul Tsongas was running for president in 1992, and had previously had a form of cancer. In 1992, Tsongas´ physician issued a statement that Tsongas was cancer free. That was a lie. Tsongas was dying. and eventually died. I don´t believe Hillary´s attending physicians and their glowing prognosis. If blood cannot get out of the brain at that location of the clot, then blood builds up in the brain, and has to go somewhere. That somewhere is probably into brain tissue.

There is probably no one who, from time to time, has not let their indignation cause them to react to a headline without troubling to read the piece itself.

Is is surprising to anyone, including WaPo, that speculation would be rampant given the dearth of information about her or her condition?
She is, what, fourth in line to the Presidency?
What´s not to question? Do your job WaPo, and quit pointing your smelly little finger at people asking legitimate questions, especially given the lack of any reliable information from the Clintons and their apologists in the media.

FTA:" And finally, it isn’t as though Clinton has never shaded a fact in her 65 years; she’s been rightly hailed for a remarkable tenure at the State Department, winning over many critics and probably even avoiding more of the blame for Benghazi than she should have." I do appreciate the lectures from those who also think we should read the entire article before posting rather than denying this leftist rag a chance to redeem itself.
Pardon me as a I drag my knuckles while dragging the Travel Office and Rose Law firm scandals into this century. This article is nothing more than a subtle slam of anyone who doesn´t worship this lying witch.

The writer is even more outrageous than described by those alleged not to have read the article. Prior to her pointing out: "After all she’s been accused of — and will be again if she runs next time — this is nothing."; Melinda brags: "and I hope the most admired woman in the world in 2012 does run for president again in 2016."
Should it be any wonder that the French felt the need to dispose of the worshipers of the anointed as well?

I have not read the article. But generally speaking, if Hillary is genuinely experiencing serious health issues, then it only makes sense to wait until the facts come out. But the suspicion is that she appears to be ducking the Benghazi issue. And, considering her own history, she has been known to play fast and loose with the facts sometimes. Not trustworthy. If she is well enough to fly down to the Caribbean to party, she is well enough to testify to Congress.

Politicians (even warm, fuzzy ones) have lied historically.
Therefore....Saint Hillary, by keeping with this grand tradition of deception, is in good company and we love her even more for it.
FTA- - - -
We know now that Clinton did not pull a Ferris Bueller to avoid testifying about the attack that killed our ambassador, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans. But if she had, would we really have thought so much less of her for it? She was praised for having sense enough to let Susan Rice take the Sunday shows right after the attack, and I’m not sure there wasn’t a little admiration in those “Benghazi flu” comments from the right. -----------------------------------------
No.
We do not know that.
This whole article was just a vehicle to tell that one additional lie.

Maybe the mystery is how she came to have the blood clot, not that she has developed one. Like maybe she was a bit tipsy when she fell and hit her head, not queasy from the flu. We haven´t heard anything about Bill being by her side during this tramatic episode. The whole thing has a wonky smell about it.

Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia can finally agree on something. "He called me a whiner. He´s probably right," Garcia told Golf.com on Monday at the start of the week of the BMW PGA Championship in England. "But that´s also probably the first thing he´s told you guys that´s true in 15 years. I know what he´s like. You guys are finding out." On the same day that Tiger Woods uttered one word -- "No" -- to quickly dismiss the possibility of making amends over the pair´s verbal sparring during the Players Championship, the Spaniard kept swinging at

A federal court in San Francisco Tuesday struck down Arizona´s ban on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the law violates a string of U.S. Supreme Court rulings starting with Roe v. Wade that guarantees a woman´s right to an abortion before a fetus is able to survive outside the womb. That´s generally considered to be about 24 weeks. Normal pregnancies run about 40 weeks. Several states have enacted similar bans starting at 20 weeks. But the 9th Circuit´s ruling is binding only in the nine Western states

CBS News has a piece quietly mocking a Benghazi whistleblower for writing poetry in a classic example of how the MSM marginalizes opponents of Barack Obama: Raymond Maxwell, who was one of Hillary Clinton’s State Department officials who was disciplined for security lapses vis-à-vis Benghazi, has been writing poetry since he was put on leave. Significantly, some of the poetry deals with Maxwell’s frustration at being made a scapegoat: The web of lies they weave / gets tighter and tighter / in its deceit / until it bottoms out - / at a very low frequency - / and implodes...

President Obama and his allies in the House and Senate may have failed in their attempt to channel shock and anger over Newtown into passing strict new gun control legislation, but it wasn´t for lack of trying. The quick pivot from tragedy to legislation is just another indication that one party has a knack for legislating while the other spends most of its time saying no, or offering watered down versions of its opponents´ legislation. That seeming inability to quickly connect moments of national outrage with meaningful legislation on the part of Republicans will be on display

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew was told about a government watchdog´s investigation of the Internal Revenue Service in mid-March but did not learn the full extent of its findings until they were released earlier this month. Lew told the Senate Banking Committee on Tuesday that he first learned about the possible problems during a "getting to know you" meeting with the Treasury´s inspector general for tax administration, J. Russell George, on March 15. At that meeting, George ran down a number of items for Lew, including the potential for "troubling findings" in regards to the agency´s handling of tax-exempt applications

On the heels of news that the Obama administration Department of Justice was spying on reporters at the Associated Press, Monday brought the startling disclosure by the Washington Post that the DOJ had also targeted Fox reporter James Rosen for surveillance in an effort to plug up leaks. Additionally, the New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza obtained the full application for a search warrant of Rosen’s personal email account, in which the DOJ accused him of being “an aider and abettor and/or co-conspirator.” As Lizza put it, “Rosen was not charged with any crime, but it is unprecedented for the government,

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care?
