PRINCETON, N.J.- Americans named President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as the most admired man and woman alive, a Gallup survey indicated. Clinton is the Most Admired Woman for the 11th year in a row, while Obama has been the Most Admired Man five years running, results of a USA Today-Gallup poll released Monday indicated. First lady Michelle Obama, television daytime host Oprah Winfrey and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice were behind Clinton on the Most Admired Woman list. Most admired among who? I doubt many people could even name PIAPS as the current SoS. They know The Won because he hates rich people and gives away free phones and food stamps, as well as certifies anyone with a splinter as eligible for disability payments.

Two ugly, uncharming people, with no scruples and who fit nicely in the "low information" spectrum....are the most admired?

Well, we know that Hugo Chavez admires them and has called Obama a "good guy." Moreover he, Vladimir Putin and the Castros strongly supported his re-election. Meanwhile, the left-wing democrats admire both Obama and Clinton, along with all the leftists in Europe. And lets not forget that the Chinese communists as well as the Islamic ´leaders´ of Iran, Egypt, Turkey, Sudan, and al Queda itself were all very happy that Obama won the election so they can continue to deal with these two ´patriots.´ Indeed, one can see that there are many people in the world who admire Obama and Clinton. Too bad none of them like America.

I would say they are the best Known man and woman. I certainly don´t admire either one of them.

Absolutely meaningless. Every year, this poll lists the President as most admired, no matter who he is or how incompetent or unpopular he may be. On the female side, the First Lady and whoever the highest-ranking woman in government is always top the list.

It´s really nothing but a testament to how shallow the average respondent´s thinking is, or how little thought they give to poll questions. Any Obamabot who points to this as justification for his policies should also have to explain why they opposed Bush even when he and Laura were topping the "Most Admired" polls.

Does this actually surprise anyone? As has been said many, many times, Obama will depart the scene as President, but those who voted for this ignorant, arrogant, idiot will remain for a long, long time. God help us. Hillary once she "recovers" will have a hell of a time trying to convince the electorate that she isn´t much more than a media generated queen.

Her lying husband was also the most admired.

I guess that is what it takes to be admired by the left.

The first lady paid a visit to the youngsters, brightening their day with some silly dance moves performed in unison and imparting an important message about hard work and perseverance.Awww. According to the Huffington Post, Obama encouraged the kiddos to "try new things and not be afraid to fail, because we have all failed," and referenced Kerry Washington (also in the audience),

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio will appeal a federal judge´s ruling that his agency systematically singled out Latinos in its trademark immigration patrols, marking the first finding by a court that the agency racially profiles people. Tim Casey, the lead attorney representing America´s self-proclaimed toughest sheriff in the case, said an appeal of the finding that the agency racially profiles people was planned in the next 30 days. The decision by U.S. District Judge Murray Snow in Phoenix backs up years of allegations from Arpaio´s critics who say his officers violate the constitutional rights of Latinos

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping
