Deport me? If America won´t

I have fired guns only once in my life, on a stag party to the Czech capital Prague a few years ago when part of the itinerary included a trip to an indoor shooting range. For three hours, our group were let loose on everything from Magnum 45 handguns and Glock pistols, to high-powered ‘sniper’ rifles and pump-action shotguns. It was controlled, legal, safe and undeniably exciting. But it also showed me, quite demonstrably, that guns are killing machines. Rarely has the hideous effect of a gun been more acutely laid bare than at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut,

* I may deport myself says Piers Morgan

Like every good elitist, Piers is too chicken, too dishonest to reveal the increase in gun crime in England after their outright ban. The underworld, the career criminals and gangs, applaud your laws, Morgan. It makes the streets and homes of your Orwellian state, safer for them. Admit that you are a pasty coward, afraid of and clueless about how to disarm the IRA, skinheads, and the ordinary criminal. All you can do is whine about a nationality that is a lot tougher and smarter than you. You are welcome for all the lend lease guns that you begged for and then destroyed when the Nazis had you by the throat.

Apparently Piers has never been bullied, or the victim of a crime. He doesn´t suffer a disability that makes him virtually helpless.

Morgan is enjoying the outrage and cashing in on the ratings boost. That means he is using the death of those children to promote himself.

Reply 15 - Posted by: Janjan, 12/29/2012 11:43:26 PM     (No. 9089388)

Typical liberal argument. Strong on ´feelings´ but bereft of facts. Fact. Every state, EVERY, that allows a concealed carry permit has a lower crime rate. This does not equate, as in Morgan´s limpwrist liberal argument, to giving ´Jack Daniels to an alcoholic´. It equates to leveling the playing field; something liberals claim to support. Morgan is a nobody. A dimwit talk show host on a marginal cable news network. Let this be the end of the free publicity he so obviously is sucking up.

Had to go to a shooting range to find out that guns kill?

Does he confess that when he left the place he had a sudden urge to strap on a gun and go on a rampage?

When a person abuses the right to own and use guns, that does not abrogate the Second Amendment Rights of the law-abiding.

By the same token, when someone says stupid, idiotic things, vile outrageous, lies, that does not justify silencing the rest of us.

In every recent horrific case, the murderer is mentally deficient in some way, or insane, or depraved.

This applies to your common every day ordinary depraved murderer who kills for drugs or etc. Just the other day --finally-- a Boston jury found a guy guilty of 4 counts of murder... once victim a toddler, whom his mother tried to shield.

1) There are people with mental health issues who can NOT live on their own or be trusted to take their meds.

2) Enforce the laws already on the books.

Sad to say, in the end, we will never on this earth have a utopia or see a time when there is no suffering --as long, that is, as the Father of Lies, the Arch Deceiver, reigns.

FTA: And I still remember the blind terror I felt when I lost my son Stanley, then aged two, for half an hour at a cricket match on a field surrounded by a small running creek. I was sure he’d drowned.

Your terror was in part because you were responsible and failed to protect. How would you feel, you bozo, if your child were killed in a school that was solely protected by a "no-guns" sign as a result of your lobbying?

FTA: A petition was created on an official White House website demanding my deportation for ‘attacking the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution’. This, of course, is the one that alludes to an American’s ‘right to bear arms’.

Where do I begin... probably hopeless... He will never understand... His statistics are not correct, nor is his logic...

As always, rational discussion with a Leftist is pointless. However, we still want to speak up, don´t we?

Well, pal, if guns are such single-use self-driven "killing" devices, it´s self-evident they do a poor job. Just look at the hundreds of millions of slacker-guns that just stay in gun-safes or the many other places Americans keep them safely day after day. How´s that happen?

And BTW -- that´s an American gun law that really bugs you. The 2nd Amendment. And we put it in place to protect ourselves from a British tyranny that might be taken up by some of our own.

Planes leave the US for GB every day. Lots of them are non-US-flag carriers. So -- see ya!

#18: Yeah, those Leftists are sure big teases, aren´t they?

And I´ll bet there are many who agreed; but wouldn´t vote because they didn´t want to register. Like me.

"I have fired guns only once in my life"

The Argument from Ignorance. It´s an epidemic on the Left. On the right it shows up in the anti-geology nuts and drug warriors. But it permeates everything on the Left. As a reporter, Barry Obama admitted that everything he knows about war comes from movies and TV and the simple act of finding a veteran and talking to him is completely beyond his stunted imagination.

Former Rep. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
