A Muslim-hating woman was charged with murder as a hate crime for senselessly shoving a Queens man to his death in front of the 7 train, officials said today.Erika Menendez, 31, was hit with a second-degree murder charge after confessing to killing Sundano Sen, 46, following her arrest this morning. She is accused of committing a subway commuter’s worst nightmare,"Queens DA Richard Brown said. "(He was) suddenly and senselessly pushed into the path of an oncoming train, shoved from behind with no chance to defend himself.

Note to self: mind the gap and stay back from the tracks.

More important note to self: stay out of NYC.

All of us need to thank give a heartfelt thanks to the ACLU for making it nearly impossible to have people like this committed.
Their tireless work for the extremely mentally disturbed, like themselves, shouldn´t go unnoticed.

The fruits of diversity.

Just think, if he had pushed her it would also have been classified as a ´hate crime´. If you want to get out of being charged with a hate crime in NYC be careful to push only white folk to their deaths.

It´s supposedly a hate crime because this crazy woman thought the guy was a Muslim. Why isn´t it just plain old murder? Intent, with malice aforethought, guilty.

We should ask Feinstein to add subways to the list of banned weapons. People have wantonly used this tool twice now to murder innocent victims. By all means, protect us from the wrenches, not the nuts.

Feinstein is probably mulling over whether to ban subway trains, just platforms or what else. So much to ban, so little time.

I have a very bad feeling about this ...

Watch for oil to double.

Just more chaos for Obama to use ...

Isn´t murder, by definition, even more hatey than hate?

It´s like charging a corpse with having the sniffles.

People!- It´s not trains. And it´s not guns or bullets. It´s STEEL! We must outlaw steel! Even Conan the Barbarian understood this! Ah yes, the riddle of steel. And outlaw mental illness. There´s just too much of it - especially in New York. "Steel is strong. But the mind is stronger". And let´s set a limitation on the size of IQ´s and biceps. Bloomie - get right on this.

And remember the perp who did this is one of the people that every democrat wants to make sure that they vote.

Well-put, #11.

By singling-out some murders as hate crimes, Political Correctness twists perspective in a way that suggests some murders might be love crimes.

What scares me most is the murders that happen for no particular reason, because such a killer needs no excuse to kill again. Apathy crimes like that might be the ones that deserve enhanced sentencing.

This story proves what the rest of us know. It´s only a hate crime when it involves blacks or muslims. But when those very same blacks or muslims kill whitey, no such hate crime exists. When a muslim demands Ramadon meals, the SC agrees; when a christian business objects to mandated abortion payments, the SC disagrees. See the hyprocacy here?

Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Political scientist Charles Murray has never backed away from controversy, but usually his opponents have been liberals. Friday, however, he managed to upset conservatives at the annual conference known as CPAC, where thousands of bewildered Republicans gathered to figure out the way forward after their party’s 2012 electoral defeat. Murray ditched his prepared remarks on “America Coming Apart” in favor of an impromptu admonition to fellow conservatives to accept the legalization of both gay marriage and abortion.

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our
