The former president remains in guarded condition in the intensive-care unit at Houston’s Methodist Hospital. What opportunities both Bushes missed!
Dad was Reagan´s VP for eight years - - and not for a minute did he understand what Reagan was doing. Dad was so clueless that he thought Dick Darman was a genius - - and he threw away his presidency because of that.
And Junior thought Hank Paulson was a genius - - not for a moment realizing that Paulson was only out to protect his own fortune and those of his Wall Street buddies.
The Bushes could have continued and built on the Reagan Revolution - - but neither of them understood it - - and now we´re all imperiled by a communist regime.
What a tragedy!

I don´t wish G.H.W.any ill will, but I´d rather send get well wishes to the nation he helped speed along towards its ruin.
To be sure, virtually all the presidents after Eisenhower have had some hand in that ruin, Johnson and Nixon more than Reagan. And some of the most destructive predated Ike, like Wilson and FDR.
Few of this grisly crew had any REAL regard for the Constitution they all swore to uphold, and have been succeeded by the current president who holds the Constitution in open contempt. Get better indeed!

Los Angeles County coroner´s officials said Wednesday the body recovered from a fiery, single-car crash in Hollywood that apparently killed journalist Michael Hastings will likely undergo an autopsy Thursday. But an official cause of death and closure of the case is not likely for four to six weeks or perhaps longer, they said. An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.
