| Pass the popcorn. Barack Hussein Obama, the golf-playing Marxist president is being compared to Honest Abe. Not by the Democrats, mind you, but by white flag-waving, go-along-to-‘git’-along Republicans. According to some Republicans, desperately trying to duck the blame for taking America over the fiscal cliff and with Congress gridlocked, it’s now all up to Mr. Obama to produce a plan that can both cut deficits and win bipartisan support. It’s only now that it’s up to Obama to produce a plan and win bipartisan support? There hasn’t been a budget tabled by the Senate in almost four years.

Re the Budget, it is not incompetence. It is entirely intentional. No Budget, means no limitations. Everything he wants via some variation of Presidential fiat.

Once again, Obama is winning the perception game. People think he is handling this issue well and blame Republicans for any problems. When is the GOP going to learn that this is a game of manipulation?? Obama needs to be exposed. Stop believing that he is sincere in what he says or that he really wants to fix the economy. He isn´t sincere. He doesn´t give a darn what happens to the rest of us. He just wants to fundamentally transform the U.S. into some socialist totalitarian tyranny with the Dems in permanent control. His people and his buddies will reap all the power and wealth at the expense of the rest of us. People don´t see the consequences yet, so they don´t believe it yet. The GOP needs to let the Dems step in it once and for all.

Until the GOP starts calling out the Obama admin as willfully destroying the American economy and moral fabric I will only vote for Tea Party candidates or libertarian ones

Problem is Obama sets the "team of rivals" against each other and exacerbates the conflict, rather than getting them to augment each others´ strengths.

I thought that big hat in the picture meant Ozero was another one trying to free (reimburse) slaves -- who were never slaves -- by people who never had anything to do with the slave trade. It is all Marxist maneuvering to "level the playing field," pay descendants of slaves with our money, buy votes -- with the end game being Sharia Law in America. It is really all about re-enslaving. If Demonrats were so gloriously clever, they would see this how they are being used.

Reid and McConnell will cut a deal, the question then becomes if it´ll pass the House. Boehner doesn´t want to pass a bill with majority dems voting for it but being against the wall he may have no choice but bring the senate plan up. The latest deal suggest tax increases will start at the %500,000 a year club.I´m sure there´s small business owners who have already talked to accountants and consultants to restructure their business model to stay out of the higher bracket.
It´ll probably also lead to income skimming to avoid the higher brackets.Tax compliance is always higher when rates are low.

This is exactly the case.Obama has been trying to posture himself as a Lincoln since his short senate stint. Bill Clinton has to be fuming--after all Clinton got him reelected.

Republicans play tough with conservatives. Then Republicans go impotent to get the independent impotent vote. Republicans cannot win by educating the low information voter with truths that would get their attention. This is alarmist or "setting one´s hair on fire." As every schoolboy republican knows, every election comes down to 2% of the voters, and 18 counties, and fraud. And foreign money. Soon Americans stop paying attention to republicans. Then republicans get rolled for being impotent cowards by democrats. Then Republicans beg for some face saving from democrats. Then democrats say blame your loss on conservatives and Christians not backing you. Republicans enable treason. Republicans make the traitors and criminals angry by calling them "nice guys" instead of the artistic traitors and and master criminals they are. Boehner plays by the republican rules of engagement so well he must be on every big donors republican short list for 2016. OTOH, Boehner can stop Obama from taking office by saying he is illegal and had the wrong kind of citizenship when he came to Occidental. Is this comment a "revolutionary act?"

Back in the salad days of President Barack Obama in the Oval Office, the first sign of the coming soft tyranny against We the People should have been the roughly 2000 car dealerships forced out of business by the anti-free enterprise cabal squatting on the White House. “It was Obama’s auto task force that pressed General Motors and Chrysler to close scores of dealerships without adequately considering the jobs that would be lost or having a firm idea of the cost savings that would be achieved, an audit of the process has concluded.”

Nobody drowned or died at Watergate. Nor was the First Amendment done away with. It’s time to quit referring to the White House’s current plethora of scandals as “Gates”. There is no Benghazi Gate. Watergate was a bungled break in. The Obama administration’s current round of scandals shouldn’t be diminished by comparisons to something as relatively trivial as Watergate. An American ambassador and three courageous Americans died at Benghazi and we still don’t have the slightest idea where the Commander in Chief was during the eight hour fire fight.

Do you ever wonder how Obama gets away with the most outrageous acts ever perpetrated by a sitting president with barely a nick to his reputation? Did you scratch your head when not a single Justice Department or ATF official went to jail for sending hundreds of guns over the border to Mexican drug lords with the expressed purpose of fomenting violent crime? Do you really think high ranking government officials are going to be held accountable for the now blazing IRS and Benghazi scandals? If these and other questions like them have been bothering you for the past few years,

It is now safe to say that if one cannot see the abject evil of the Obama administration as well as the endemic corruption and criminality in our federal government, it is only because they are refusing to look. Due to what some are calling a “perfect storm of circumstances, three scandals have rocked Washington, but these are only the grossest symptoms of the systemic infection that has been festering there for decades. Those such as myself who suspected on September 12, 2012 that the Obama administration’s narrative relative to the attack on the US embassy in Benghazi, Libya,

Armed by the arrogant confidence that comes via a protective circle of self-serving, back-scratching politicians (including Republican ones), who do nothing to deter his increasing taunts against all things American, President Barack Hussein Obama continues to publicly trash the cherished image of the military. Taking a leaf straight from the book of his overbearing wife, Michelle who used military members in full dress as props on the night she invaded living rooms via satellite from the White House to announce this year’s Best Picture, yesterday big brave BHO used Marines holding umbrellas to shelter both himself and

The term Liberal Redneck will strike progressives as an absurd contradiction. Yet, Conservatives will have an immediate, wearying familiarity with the angry, judgmental, uninformed and doctrinaire viewpoint of this group. In fact, the Liberal Redneck is every bit as small-minded, bigoted, dismissive, self-righteous, judgmental, uneducated and intolerant as the worst fundamentalist. The problem in America today is that there is never a level playing field offered for the discussion of ideas. Therefore, most important topics are only mentioned in a predetermined format. In other words, one can mention, for example—gay marriage,

The deadly, almost under-cover assassin of conservatism in America is not the Fundamental Transformation of America-pushing Barack Obama and the Democrats but Karl Rove and his big-money financiers. Conservatism is the dead man walking in the politics of America today, and there’s no way to revive the corpse as long as Karl Rove is still at the GOP helm. From the Truth-is-stranger-than-Fiction department: A brilliant May 8 piece in the New York Times by Thomas B. Edsall draws back the curtain on the forces battling for GOP control between the well-heeled establishment

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care
