Facebook bans Gandhi quote
as part of revisionist history purge

The Natural News .com, by Mike Adams

Original Article

NaturalNews) The reports are absolutely true. Facebook suspended the Natural News account earlier today after we posted an historical quote from Mohandas Gandhi. The quote reads: "Among the many misdeeds of British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest." - Mohandas Gandhi, an Autobiography, page 446.

Comments:
Liberals HATE IT when you hit them with historical facts.

This may not be accepted as a news source for Lucianne, but Drudge linked to it. So, I´ll post it.

I quit my facebook account because of so many communists parroting their insane gibberish. Unfortunately, many of them were my relatives. I really fear for what was once the United States.

FTA:
InfoWars.com is also now reporting that Facebook is running an across-the-board PURGE of pro-gun accounts.

Facebook - another bastion of left wing thought.

Looks as though after Two Won became known as the great Dick Tator, the sign was given that history rewriting should begin in earnest. Over the next four years the commie re-writers will have American and world history redone and printed according to what has been approved by the leading reds in charge.

So much for speaking truth to power.

FTA: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." -Thomas Jefferson

Todd Beamer would have appreciated that sentiment, and acted it on it. Again.

I dumped them 2 years ago when they allowed the "Arab Spring" groups to use Facebook to organize but refused to let TEA party groups do the same.

Not that I really spent any time on the site - maybe once a month or so for a couple of minutes.

I´ve seen the quote on a couple of FB pages just this afternoon, so I don´t think this article is 100% correct...the page may have been shut down for other reasons. It could be that Natural News had other warnings from FB for which they got their hands slapped. FWIW, I love FB ~ I´ve actually met several friends in person, and it´s been pure delight. It´s the #1 way to communicate with my students (I teach at a small college), so I won´t be giving it up anytime soon.

State Department orders firm

web blueprints
The Guardian, by Amanda Holpuch    Original Article
Posted By: MattMusson- 5/10/2013 11:01:02 AM     Post Reply
The US government has blocked a Texas-based company from distributing details online of how to make a plastic gun using a 3-D printer. The ban, by the State Department citing international arms control law, comes just days after the world´s first such gun was successfully fired. Defense Distributed, the company that made the prototype, stated on Twitter that its project had "gone dark" at the instigation of the government.
The company is run by Cody Wilson, a 25-year-old University of Texas law student who has said the idea for freely distributing details about how to produce the guns online was inspired by 19th century anarchist writing. Wilson argues everyone should have access to guns.

Barry Diller, chairman of Newsweek parent company IAC, admitted Monday on Bloomberg that purchasing the embattled magazine was a mistake. “There are some magazines that have no competition essentially in their field, luxury magazines,” Diller said. “Advertisers must advertise in them. But for a news magazine … it was not possible to print it any longer. So we said we will offer a digital product. We have a very, very solid newsroom, and we’ll see. I don’t have great expectations. I wish I hadn’t bought Newsweek. it was a mistake.”

But he’s considering a hiring freeze. The growing company, which handles property management, maintenance and real estate sales, could use the extra hands, Henderson says. But if he hires two more employees, he’ll reach the 50-employee threshold that requires small business owners to comply with President Barack Obama’s new Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Seven million will lose insurance

President Obama´s health care law will push 7 million people out of their job-based insurance coverage — nearly twice the previous estimate, according to the latest estimates from the Congressional Budget Office released Tuesday. CBO said that this year´s tax cuts have changed the incentives for businesses and made it less attractive to pay for insurance, meaning fewer will decide to do so. Instead, they´ll choose to pay a penalty to the government, totaling $13 billion in higher fees over the next decade.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. Marimow broke earlier this week. The memo’s a masterpiece, too. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
