| There is something particularly ugly in a democratic society when government officials lie — or in the case in point, tell half-truths. Last week in the wake of a damning report on how some State Department officials handled the security situation at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi prior to and after Sept. 11, it was announced that four officials had resigned. Well, at least that’s what most of us thought they had announced. This is the way State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland put it: that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “has accepted Eric Boswell’s decision to resign

A little too little, a little to late. And this from the state that elected a woman who claimed to be "native American" and a lawyer, but is neither.
The MSM is culpable in every aspect of what´s happening to our country. They have traded integrity for cheap, soon-to-be confiscated power. Fools! No sympathy for the BH or any other MSM.

They lied about the cover up.
Are we surprised they lied about the response?

The more they lie, the more perfect he necessarily must be.

So Hitlery is out of commission ... and out of sight ... because of a bump on her head? What a perfect time to get a face lift or botox! If this "bimp" is serious enough to warrant missing work for weeks then it is serious enough for a hospital. However, diplomatic flu is never about being sick. It´s about not wanting to do something and it´s a good excuse. Whether she´s still SOS or not --- put her under oath anyway!

Creepy beyond belief.
The very hallmark of insanity is the active avoidance of reality....the obsessive lying and misdirection....the feigned outrage and anger at any who dare stray close to speaking the truth.
Add in the power of the mob under the guidance of a charismatic but bat-chit crazy dictator and we have all the ingredients for a very toxic soup indeed.

So...why doesn´t the Herald send a reporter to question her HUSBAND about her condition ? ....or maybe her Daughter ? I would have 50 people asking questions about this ALL THE TIME.
Our Service men and women deserve the truth about Benghazi and IF THEY ARE GOING TO RECEIVE ADEQUATE BACK-UP when they are under fire. I´m not sure they can count on anything.
This Administration is beyond corrupt. It is disgusting.

I really don´t care if the four designated scapegoats are actually leaving their jobs. They will accomplish the same amount of useful work for the American people whether they are present or not.
I do want to see the SOS and the lying POS who dares to call himself a CIC boiled in oil for enabling and witnessing the murders of four of our countrymen without doing anything about it. They are ultimately responsible and anybody who calls himself an American, man or woman, should admit it and preferably resign in disgrace.

Maybe it was just that whatever conservative media that remains did not fully understand the language that the State Department spokes-lady used when she reported that those bureaucrats had resigned. Like they always do in bureaucracies, is have an exposed incompetent who is causing the big wigs problems after being identified, simply move to another position or billet and then start again.
Those people holding down high level positions within the State Dept. are always politically wired, in this administration most are Democrats, and they are not going to be kicked out of the Department just because they were exposed as being incompetent by some Republican politicians and conservative friendly media.

By their fruits you shall know them! What are their children like? Do they always preach one way and live another?
Our country has changed! I remember when a handshake was a contract! People could be trusted and admired for their honesty and faithfulness.
Today the only sin seems to be getting caught!
What a day it will be when we all stand before our Maker. What will He have to say about our actions? Take your pick: Welcome, good and faithful servant or depart from Me, I never knew you!
Guess heaven isn´t important anymore to those who think they can live any way they want and still inherit what we gained through Faith/Trust in Almighty God, not living according to political correctness!
Guess they wouldn´t like heaven anyway. God alone is in control and guess what, we will be full of Joy/Peace/Love, something this administration cannot give.
Pray for America! We need God to lead US!

Plus, I find it most interesting/disturbing, to compare the two Americas... in light of Judge Robert Bork´s recent death. The result of his confirmation hearings was the introduction of a new term: ´to bork´. Meaning the destruction a man´s reputation by lying about his character.
What we have now, is the Obama Administration, in which one could (hopefully) destroy a man or woman´s reputation by telling the TRUTH about their character.
Once we could ask the question: "Have you no shame?" and elicit a shameful response.
With todays´ Liberals, there simply is NO sense of shame within them.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST questions hanging over the health-care system is how many young Americans will sign up for coverage once the Affordable Care Act begins to phase in this October. If too few buy insurance on the markets that the government is creating, insurance companies would be stuck covering primarily the the old and the sick. They would have to pay out more per customer. Their customers, in turn, would have to pay more to those companies for coverage. The stakes for the Health and Human Services Department, which is overseeing the transition, are tremendous.

You can argue that Republicans have blocked President Obama from doing just about anything. You can argue that he´s had bad luck. You can argue that he isn´t always the greatest orator. But you can´t argue away that the Department of Justice took the unprecedented step of seizing phone records from the Associated Press. Or the flimsy rationale justifying drone attacks abroad and at home. Or the bizarre step the Pentagon has taken to expand the ability of the military (Snip) These are actions that President Obama and his top team have taken on their own.

WASHINGTON -- The hundred pages of Benghazi emails released last week tell us almost nothing about how four Americans came to die so tragically in that Libyan city. But they are a case study in why nothing works in Washington. Rather than reading these messages for their substance on Benghazi (on which officials were still basically clueless three days after the attack), try perusing them as an illustration of how the bureaucracy responds to crisis -- especially when officials know they will be under the media spotlight.

It must get confusing in the IT department at the Associated Press: Are you talking about the hackers who hacked our Twitter account or the Justice Department hackers who hacked our phones? Monday, the Associated Press reported that the Justice Department had secretly obtained two months of records of phone conversations by its reporters. Meanwhile, the Washington Post revealed that the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative groups was more widespread than first reported. (Snip)The Obama administration is doing a far better job making the case for conservatism than Mitt Romney, Mitch McConnell, or John Boehner ever did.

Lois Lerner, the senior IRS official at the center of the decision to target tea party groups for burdensome tax scrutiny, signed paperwork granting tax-exempt status to the Barack H. Obama Foundation, a shady charity headed by the president’s half-brother that operated illegally for years. According to the organization’s filings, Lerner approved the foundation’s tax status within a month of filing, an unprecedented timeline that stands in stark contrast to conservative organizations that have been waiting for more than three years, in some cases, for approval.

Last week, Speaker of the House John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell ostentatiously announced their intention to fight implementation of the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB). They sent a letter to the President decrying the way IPAB will “impact America’s seniors … in the absence of the democratic process.” Sadly, the exercise was a charade. McConnell and Boehner know perfectly well that Obama has no intention of setting up this controversial board until after 2015.

President Obama’s second term is off to a rocky start, but that should not obscure for Republicans the fact that their party is facing many well-documented problems. They include everything from campaign mechanics and overly long presidential primaries to changing demographics and mediocre candidates. But there’s something more fundamental at play. The GOP doesn’t have a compelling, or even a particularly identifiable, governing vision. That may be sufficient for a congressional party committed to blocking President Obama’s agenda, but it’s not sufficient for a national party that wants to once again win presidential elections.

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

It began in earnest last Friday. A flash mob of latte drinking, tofu eating media that has done its best to quell, rather than fan the flames of truth, turned on one of their own. Jay Carney lay bludgeoned at the base of the podium, a victim of friendly fire. Ironically, the attack was reminiscent of the one in Benghazi he has repeatedly denied the Administration he represents bears any responsibility for. “Changed twelve times?!” came the cries. And with good reason. We were misled; no, lied to.

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.
