FBI files on Marilyn Monroe that could not be located earlier this year have been found and re-issued, revealing the names of some of the movie star’s acquaintances who drew concern from government officials and her own entourage. Among the secret records is one from 1956 in which the FBI documents an anonymous call to the New York Daily News claiming playwright Arthur Miller was a communist and Monroe had ´drifted into the Communist orbit´. The files had previously been heavily redacted, but more details are now public in a version of the file recently obtained

Real reason for the hatred of Ronald Reagan was his determination to rid the Actor´s Union of the America hating communists.

Sadly enough, Hollywood is riddled with America hating communists.

She was about as smart as a rock.
If she was ever connected to communism it would be through her male associates the influenced her Nile a 12 year old girl . She was pretty but otherwise shallow.
I am sure Kennedy used her for a night or two and dumped her. She was so stupid she thought there was something more. Just like Monica 30 years later.

At least back then, the commies looked like Marilyn. Now they look like Lena Dunham and Rachel Maddow. Forward!

American Thinker published a couple of articles on the "scoundrel" Arthur Miller in September 2007. According to one of them Miller "got even with such "turncoats" and "informers" in both The Crucible and A View From the Bridge. " He also abandoned his Down Syndrome son Daniel, against his wife´s wishes, because he didn´t want his daughter to grow up around him. His daughter Rebecca is married to the actor Daniel Day-Lewis, who regularly visited Daniel, who "is said to have lived in an overcrowded Connecticut institution that was sued in the 1980s over its poor living conditions." Day-Lewis, who was "appalled" at the treatment of Daniel, finally convinced Miller to remember his son in his will six weeks before Miller died in 2005.

If you search at AT, the articles are entitled "Death of a Phony" and "Scoundrel Time: More on Arthur Miller."

Jack Kennedy was also involved with a woman who was a Russian spy.
The information should be easy to find in a search.

Once again,Sen. Joe McCarthy has been vindicated. The Orwellian definition of McCarthyism , however, lives on.

Marilyn would have been highly impressionable. She sought out father figures, starting from her time as a starlet when she became infatuated with agent Johnny Hyde and then onto marriages to Joe Di Maggio and later Arthur Miller. She was an intelligent, albeit impressionable, woman.

As for the FBI´s suspicions, I honestly don´t think she subscribed to Communist philosophies. In those days, there was a degree of paranoia - and probably rightly so considering what was happening in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe - which put many under the umbrella of suspicion.

DNC Chair and Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) told Meet the Press’ David Gregory Sunday morning that President Barack Obama’s latest delay in the approval of the proposed Keystone Pipeline was not a political decision meant to animate members of the Democratic base ahead of the 2014 midterms. “As a member of Congress who represents hundreds of thousands of people in south Florida, I want to make sure the right decision is arrived at and that the president makes that decision carefully and doesn’t factor politics into his decision, which I don’t think he is,” Wasserman Schultz said. Drought -- and neighbors --

LAS VEGAS — Deep beneath Lake Mead, a 23-foot-tall tunnel-boring machine grinds through stubborn bedrock in a billion-dollar effort to make sure water continues flowing to this thirsty resort city. For six years, the Southern Nevada Water Authority has been building an intake straw below the reservoir´s two existing pipes. Due for completion in fall 2015, critics say it may not provide a long-term solution. An ongoing drought and the Colorado River´s stunted flow have shrunk Lake Mead to its lowest level in generations. The reservoir, which supplies 90% of Las Vegas´ water, is ebbing as though a plug had been

In an op-ed published in the Boston Globe on Easter Sunday and posted on the State Department website, Secretary of State John Kerry recalled his days as an altar boy and pointed out that he is “the first Catholic Secretary of State in 33 years.” Alexander Haig, who served as secretary of state to President Ronald Reagan from January 1981 to July 1982, was also a Catholic. Last month, I traveled to Rome with President Obama, where I was honored to meet His Holiness Pope Francis,” said Kerry. “As an altar boy six decades ago, I never imagined that I

A man was charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery in a Friday shooting that left a 40-year-old man in the Brainerd neighborhood with six gunshot wounds. Deontae C. Jones, 18, was held on $1 million bail after appearing in Cook County bond court Sunday afternoon. Prosecutors said Jones approached a man who was outside his residence on the 9300 block of S. May St., checking to see if his recycling bin was full when Jones approached the man and fired at him. The victim began running away and fell to the ground, said Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney Naheda

The first family attended Easter services Sunday at the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church, a Northwest Washington congregation that welcomed the Obamas on the eve of the president’s first inauguration. The Obamas’ motorcade left the White House shortly before 10 a.m. (Snip) The motorcade pulled up to the church, about four miles away, just after 10. The first family arrived through a tented entrance and sat in the second pew in a mostly, but not completely filled church, joining an estimated 250 others. The president wore a light khaki suit. The first lady was wearing a cream dress and sweater. Daughters

Clearwater doctor unveils secrets of Shroud

CLEARWATER — In the mid-1970s, Wayne Phillips saw a television program telling the story of the Shroud of Turin, a centuries-old linen cloth that bears the image of a crucified man. At first, he was miffed. Years of Catholic schooling — Jesuit High School in Tampa and Notre Dame University — and he had never known about this artifact? (He would later learn that it was a delicate subject at the Vatican.) A doctor, he has a curious mind. A mind shaped by logic and by science. But as a Catholic, he understands some beliefs are still a mystery. He

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

In a speech earlier this week, Lisa O. Monaco, President Barack Obama’s assistant for homeland security and counterterrorism, insisted that American parents must be vigilant because their “confrontational” children could be on the verge of becoming terrorists. Monaco’s full, prepared text is available here. She presented the speech, entitled “Countering Violent Extremism and the Power of Community,” at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on April 15. Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings. Interestingly, the Harvard grad failed to mention the religion or the motive of brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after
