| No longer will Passaic County law enforcement have to take separate cars to respond to a scene where mass arrests are expected. Now the sheriff’s department has a 16-foot dual axle trailer to transport up to 20 officers to parades, demonstrations, shopping frenzies or college parties that might get too rowdy. The $130,000 trailer came from the state’s Department of Corrections through a federal Homeland Security grant, putting Passaic County on New Jersey’s Mass Arrest Response Team. That means the trailer will be deployed anywhere in the state where police need its size, flood lights and amplified speaker system

Comments:
Feds destabilize cities through unsound immigration policies and welfare programs, then print money to enable mass arrests when the money runs out. Sounds like a plan.

New development in the plan to stop a citizen insurrection against an overbearing, tyrannical government. Expect more methods for getting lots of cops/national guard/army where there are "too many" armed or potentially armed citizens.

Yeah, good for rounding up those TEA party folks, eh? It creeps me out how we are turning more and more into a totalitarian tyranny. This is not the United States of America anymore... Now they are getting ready instate peacetime Martial Law...filling up FEMA camps...black boxes in cars...no gathering at the Capitol...NDAA...vans that drive around and can see into your homes...drones watching everything you do....etc

A 2013 GMC Savanna configured for 15 passengers can be had for around $40,000. It would carry more cops and be more flexible but I guess that´s too smart when you have a Homeland Security grant burning a hole in your pocket.
