Here comes the Alinskyite Right
American Thinker, by Thomas Lifson

Original Article

David Gregory and Piers Morgan have both met the Alinskyite Right, and progressives in positions of power should take note. Both men are the targets of digital petition drives aimed at holding them to their own standards, and ridiculing them, invoking Rules 4 and 5 from Rules for Radicals: 4. "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules." If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules. 5. "Ridicule is man´s most potent weapon." There is no defense

Being the Alinskite Right is the ONLY way we will straighten this situation out.

Gregory and Morgan would be shocked to learn who darly loved and cherished high-capacity Winchester rifles in the 19th century.
The American Indian, that´s who.

Now, let´s be reasonable, not abandon our upright, civil standards to get down in the ugly gutter. We need to help low information voters gain knowledge to make the right choices, and register them to express their improved opinions at the polls. We need to show compassion, compromise our positions to moderate them so they appeal to the lost 47 percenters, most of whom really want to work, raise a very small family headed by one dominant female, and live the New American Dream of seething poverty and oppression by the Bush family. The minute we start to fight back we become no better than they are.

Reply 6 - Posted by: TheMom, 12/27/2012 10:24:26 AM     (No. 9085688)

We have tried and tried and tried taking the ´high road´, and where has it gotten us? The left has pilloried us and made us a laughingstock. They will never like us, or even admit that we might actually have good ideas that will work. So what have we got to lose by using their own tactics against them?

Reply 7 - Posted by: ncgrammie4, 12/27/2012 10:32:05 AM     (No. 9085703)

We make a mistake in assuming the low information voters just need to be brought up to speed and they will see the light. That won´t happen. They have a totally different view on life. If it doesn´t affect them personally, they do not care. We on the other hand see the big picture. I have to agree that the only way to make them see is to get it down where they live. Let´s roll!!

Ridicule them with the truth. That is what will win the day. Use their ´rules´ against them, but with the added clout of truth, logic, and the American Way.

More concrete steps need to be taken, beyond simple petitions. Filing environmental lawsuits against liberal projects can ensure that they fail. Complaining to administrative agencies about liberals can tie them up in hearings. And finally, libel suits are the perfect answer to liberal media.

Reply 11 - Posted by: Patchy Groundfog, 12/27/2012 10:54:18 AM     (No. 9085756)

While fighting fire with fire is necessary in the short-term, long term efforts should be focused on forcing the left to make a rod for their own back all without the usual preliminary of a war of words.

If the left wants an American version of the NHS then they shall have it. Bring back ´separate but equal´ for the health care field. Force those on the dole to use government-built and operated facilities, not our first-class doctors and buildings that just happen to get a check from Uncle Sam. When the ugly truth about government hospitals, workers, care, and results (including preventable deaths) is revealed that should shake things up considerably.

Eliminate HUD funding for things like Section 8. Bring back the Brutalism School tower blocks and herd the layabouts into them. If you´re going to willingly live like a battery hen, I don´t want to hear any complaints about the coop.

Establish a clear line of demarcation between private and public facilities and publicize the differences between the two. Since government and its supporters will already have what they claim to want, let them explain why it´s such a disaster.

#7: we only have to win a couple per cent of the low info votr, and that can be done. We don´t have to win them all.

I have sent a couple of emails to those staff listed on the blog that tells them I am a gun owner and would never tell that my neighbor is not. And I ask them how they feel now that they are spotlighted to others.......(will they buy a gun now or do they already have one?)

The Alinsky protocol is "Fools Gold"!

There is no reality-based dialogue.
Finding common ground and solving the problem IS NOT the objective.

Assassinating ideas that threaten Progressive ideology IS the objective.

Alinsky is void of emotional intelligence.
Alinsky is void of rational thought.
Alinsky is void of solution-based thinking.
Alinsky is void of humanity.

The sooner we confront that, the faster the Alinsky protocol will become extinct.

Hey, liberals! Obama thinks you are stupid. Yeah, he really does. He knew Benghazi was terrorism before he didn´t know it was terrorism. Addressing a question about Benghazi in his press conference Monday, May 13, 2013, Obama´s "logic" really made an impression: "The Day after it happened I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism." (snip) Leaving behind Obama´s initial certitude about Benghazi having been a terror attack, not only did he not know what had happened because it wasn´t clear

What person ever says what he really knows at a funeral? Eulogies bearing little or no resemblance to the deceased or to the facts are trotted out by people who are often bad actors, who though they know better, lie anyway. It´s almost acceptable behavior. But any truth about the deaths of U.S. Ambassador Christ Stevens and three other Americans appears to have been put six feet under as far as our current administration is concerned. Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell was convicted yesterday on three counts of first-degree murder, not to mention a slew of other charges, including involuntary manslaughter (for the death of 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar), infanticide, and abortions past Pennsylvania´s legal limit. (snip)in a culture dominated by the 24-hour news cycle, it will be easy for Americans to consider the abortion issue closed with the Gosnell verdict. Did Barack Obama in effect steal the election in 2012? It is impossible to know, of course, how matters would have played it if Americans had been told the truth about Benghazi. And what if the IRS had not hobbled conservative nonprofits (and therefore the movement) with extra scrutiny and consequent delay and expenses? But there can be no doubt that Obama helped himself by being able to claim that Al Qaeda was "on the run" and with an assist from Candy Crowley make Mitt Romney look bad on when he criticized Obama´s anti-terror policies.

The re-election of Barack Obama is the high water mark and the end of an era. The period 1960 to 2014 will go down in American history as the era of never-ending crusades leading to the decline and potential downfall of the United States. During this time frame America has been inundated with one cause after another. The essential civil rights movement and the tragically successful Viet Nam protests spawned numerous causes, among them: feminism, environmentalism, global warming, and gay rights. For each generation born after 1940 it has been a rite of passage

The Three Whistleblowers at the Benghazi hearing spoke softly, but with the emotional wallop of The Three Tenors. They told the truth, and it blasted like thunder through Obama´s tissue palace of lies. Listening to these strong, solemn men, I heard the sound of old America: a place of hardworking people who love their country and believe in something bigger than their own power. (snip) But today, their America is forced to serve a different god: a cold, smiling man with a hollow heart and hands that get bloodier by the day.

Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up.

Watching President Obama trying to dodge raindrops and responsibility yesterday reminded me of the moment when Dorothy pulls back the curtain and discovers that the Wizard of Oz is “just a man.” Stripped of his spell of mystery and power, the wizard is worse than mortal. He’s a fake. So it was with Obama in the Rose Garden. His performance was tired and trite, ordinary to the point of dull. His veneer of passion was so transparent that you could see him trying to summon his old-time magic by pushing the buttons

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

The Internal Revenue Service´s watchdog told top Treasury officials around June 2012 he was investigating allegations the tax agency had targeted conservative groups, for the first time indicating that Obama administration officials were aware of the explosive matter in the midst of the president´s re-election campaign. The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
