| President Barack Obama revealed the ´real reason´ he wanted a second term as president is because his daughter Malia, age 14, is about to start dating boys. ´One of the main incentives of running was continued Secret Service protection so we can have men with guns around at all times,´ the father of two joked. The President and First Lady delved into their personal lives--including how they keep ´the fire going´ in their marriage--during a chat with ABC´s Barbara Walters, their first sit-down interview since the election. The president said respect is the key to happiness after more than two

Comments: Two things come immediately to mind:
1. Let him try to fight on the side of gun control now.
2. He´s working on his legacy--hard.

This is an old joke Obama´s been using for quite a while. Of course when Obama cracks a funny the left can´t stop laughing even though they heard it before. It wouldn´t surprise me if there was a ringtone of Obama signing Al Green.

Just so, #3. If it was before the massacre he could have caused the remark to be cut. If it was after, well, that´s the liberal "sense of humor" for you.

In the photos in the article, not one shows Michelle looking happy. She also said she has done quite well in "biting her tongue." I say let her rip Michelle, say what you want to say, we would love to hear what you really think.

I despise him.Does he think this is funny? And I actually believe him. He likes the perks. The job -not so much. To threaten teenagers with guns for dating his daughter is disgusting. What daughter is allowed to date at 14 anyway? Its ok for him to send his daughters to armed schools and have protection but the heck with the rest of us. He can say and do anything he wants and is NEVER called out on how inappropriate or obnoxious he is..

Here is the story of another phony liberal and BIG Democrat, Carl Rowan, who ranted against guns in Washington,DC - Rowan gained public notoriety on June 14, 1988, when he shot an unarmed teenage trespasser, Neil Smith, who was on his property illegally. "The interloper was a near-naked teenager who had been skinny-dipping with friends in Rowan´s pool, and the columnist´s weapon was an unregistered, and thus illegal, .22 caliber pistol."

Love the use of the passive voice: "There´s lots of laughter." If she´d said, "We laugh a lot," I´d come slightly closer to believing her. Liars love the passive voice. It removes them from the scene.

Dating boys? Isn´t he violating her gender freedom to choose? Isn´t it offensive that he uses that as a joke- as if dating boys is the only possibility?
I´m trying to find even one liberal who lives life according to the precepts that animate his/her voting choices.
What would such a life look like?

Mooch looks awful. Pasty and sullen. Dead eyes. And her loathing for him is obvious. Look at the video still - his hand, her hands.
"Fire"? Be serious. Sparks, maybe. But that´s different.
As for Malia, if she continues to look sour, she of the perpetually turned-down mouth, he will have to pound the pavement finding boyfriends for her. In the meantime, she is his favorite in the family to the point of eyebrow raising demeanor.

How he keeps the fire going in his marriage? Is he now on the cover of Cosmopolitan? Could he possibly make the American presidency any more trashy?
Just imagine what W would have said if asked a question about his and Laura´s sex life.

The return of ´animal spirits’ usually points to better times, but it’s more complicated now. On May 3 1999, Moore was one of several cities left devastated after 74 tornadoes touched down across Oklahoma and Kansas in just 21 hours. Following a path similar to yesterday´s lethal twister, the storms that struck the city 14 years ago to the month left 46 dead and 800 injured. Due to the high number of mobile homes and less robust housing in this part of the US, more than 8,000 homes were destroyed. It caused almost $1.5 billion in property damage making it the fourth costliest in the world. The National Weather Service also recorded wind speeds

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
