| MSNBC personality Toure, currently a co-host of the cable network’s mid-day chat show “The Cycle,” declared on his blog Monday that it’s morally acceptable for slaves to kill their owners. Toure made the declaration on toure.com, in a review of Quentin Tarantino’s new slavery-themed action film “Django Unchained.” “For the descendants of slaves, who live in a world still tangibly doused in slavery’s residue, watching Django kill his oppressors could possibly feel cathartic. If murder can ever be morally justified by the presence of clear, undiluted,

The actual slaves who actually lived in the USA were more decent than these idiots. They did not massacre their owners like the slaves of Haiti had done.

Evidently the author is closer to slavery than the rest of us.

Toure will have to go back to Africa and Arab lands to kill slaves. They are the only known present-day slave owners. If he is related (at least by his name) to now-deceased Guinean President Ahmed Sekou Toure, his ancestors were known for going throughout the forest country animistic tribes, either killing the men, or selling them into slavery, and taking their wives. His name was Samoury, and the stories are endless about him in Guinea and neighboring Sierra Leone.

Comcast needs to fire this racist. I read this person as giving permission to blacks to murder whites, since he seems to think slavery is a kind of original sin for whites at all times and forever. Never mind that blacks were and continue to be the biggest slave owners and traders ever. Are there any adults at Comcast? Comcast owns this execrable channel. This Comcast racist is advocating murder!

Toure and many other loose mouthed fools talk big. You see, when polled most think that the population is about 50% black and 50% white. They don´t have a clue that blacks comprise 14% of the total population of the USA. Now Toure, please comment on those odds you dimwit.

Murder of slave-holders is immoral for the simple reason that it is illegal.
We have courts and punishments for slave holders. In fact we see such people prosecuted from time to time, especially wherever there are plenty of Islamic people.

This is what happens when you get rid of God, religion and a clear moral code that comes from both. Morals and ethics then become just a matter of opinion, open to interpretation according to your life experience. Instead of one God, we all become gods. Pretty intoxicating to the weak-minded.

As long as we have elitist blacks like this clown making statements that excuse bad behavior, the black community will never get anywhere.
Hey Toure, the 72% rate of black single-mother births was not caused by slavery. In fact I believe in 1920, 90% of blacks were born to a 2-parent family.

Those who just cannot get enough of Toure´s special insights should take a look at his blog: http://toure.typepad.com/
One hesitates to say so -correct grammar is, after all, one of those code words Toure´ loves to talk about- but the first thing that jumps out is the same subject-verb disagreement that Obama repeatedly displays:
"I’m sure there’s things I’m missing."
Right. And one of them is subject-verb agreement. Our prez has the same problem.
What follows this mismatch is pretentious low-grade lit-crit cant in praise of a rap song about (or by) a run-of-the mill black urban criminal.
Toure´ may rationalize racial murder, but he definitely murders language and thought.

Consult with the Bible first there, pal. The Bible neither condemns, nor condones slavery, as it was a very common practice in the Middle East as a means of paying off one´s debts. Slaves did have the right to run away from an abusive master, and could find refuge in the home of another free-man, however, the Bible NEVER condones murder.
Another thing these modern day "plantation blacks" have haunting them is the large number of slaves who decided to remain in the employ of their former masters post-War. They were far happier and better taken care of than the ones who made it to the the New York City slums.

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

America´s 100 million cable and satellite subscribers are forced to pay ever-higher bills for a growing number of channels they do not watch. The American people are being ripped off. Meanwhile, services such as iTunes and Netflix have led a revolution in how consumers purchase and experience music and video entertainment. They have upended entire industries to allow consumers to buy digital content where they want, when they want. Amid all this change, two entrenched interests — the cable television and video programming industries — have teamed up to use federal regulations to stack the deck against consumers.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama is a little uneasy with the way journalists have been dragged into the Justice Department’s aggressive pursuit of national security leak investigations. In fact, he has ordered Attorney General Eric Holder to conduct a 45-day review of the department’s guidelines on the issue. That bit of news was buried in the middle of the president’s hourlong speech today at National Defense University. “Journalists should not be at legal risk for doing their jobs,” President Obama said. “Our focus must be on those who break the law.” And then the news: “I have raised these issues with

Anthony Weiner’s nascent mayoral campaign is off to a rough start. Weiner made his candidacy for mayor of New York official in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, and since then there’s no indication that the process is going particularly well. The former rising star in the Democratic Party can’t shake the scandal that forced him to resign from Congress, and he may be throwing fuel on the fire. Asked this morning whether there was another shoe to drop in the sextweeting scandal that ousted him, Weiner admitted, Well, yeah.

White House press secretary Jay Carney could only explain his problems on Wednesday by telling reporters, "[T]here are a lot of you, and you´re good at your jobs and you´re smart." As easy as it might be for Carney to lob such insincere praise at former journalistic colleagues, such posterior osculations must be embarrassing for a White House so accustomed to having the press in its back pocket. Carney´s job has become more difficult in the past two weeks. Where his explanations were accepted at face value in the past, he is now met with deep skepticism. Suddenly, the

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
