Obama Playing Chicken
With Economic Disaster

Many progressive reporters and bloggers have been pushing the idea that going over the fiscal cliff into January will have very little effect on the economy and will actually help President Obama achieve his legislative goals. Indeed, Republican Sen. Barrasso hypothesized that President Obama was "eager" to go over the cliff. Unfortunately, going over the fiscal cliff has real economic effects, and the progressives who are claiming otherwise are irresponsibly pushing the country to unnecessary economic pain. "If it lasts three weeks, I´m pretty sure we get a recession out of it," Princeton University economist

Hitler also went over the cliff. It enabled him to consolidate his powers.

The president used his weekly Saturday radio address vowing to work straight through the week on the crisis, even begging the Democratic controlled Senate to at least pass a Constitutionally mandated Budget Bill for the first time in four years, while House Speaker John Boehner used much of the Republicans´ weekly address to announce they were all jetting off to Hawaii, at huge government expense, to play golf.

Or, something like that?

They see their chance of getting total power and they are seizing it. They will think about other things later. First things first.

What tempts Obama to be so reckless. . . weakness on the other side! Remember how long the muslims kept believing that American would quit after they exact a few casualties and the media helped by showing endlessly every flag draped coffin coming off the aircraft? Now it will be that difficult for a good leader to stop this lunacy with the budget and debt.

The only economic disaster about which the Resident may be concerned is extracting enough tax money from the Makers to keep the Takers employed in government. The economic disaster for the Makers started 4 years ago.

Having Obama push the economy off the cliff offers this quite mean & very delusional man child several positives:

A. The Bush tax rates expire. Restoring the same rates on those earning less than $200,000 means it now the Obama tax cuts. He will proclaim how the rich will finally pay their fair share at the State of the Union .

B. As economy falters, he can call for yet another massive stimulus for his favorite groups: teacher, police, fire and state/municipal unions.

C. He can blame the racist GOP for wanting his black half to fail. "Boehner´s KKK pushed the economy back into the ditch". To BO, life´s a ditch.

D. While all eyes are on tax negotiations, his EPA, Energy and Commerce Dept will be issuing new regs.

E. His foreign policy disasters are also overlooked.

Why not send him packing? The House of Representatives, by a simple majority, show he is unqualified for office under the 20th Amendment, paragraph 3. They can refuse to seat him.

It is easily done. His father was a British citizen, born in British East Africa. And under British law, citizenship passes from father to son. Nor are they allowed to renounce their status.

Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution is clear. All American citizens were British citizens before the War of Independence, and afterwards until they died. A special provision was made for them to hold the office of President--every citizen was a British citizen--if,only if, they were born before the Constitution was ratified. It required a generation of children born after that date to produce another generation who were qualified to be President.

President -elect Obama is a British citizen, a son of his father, and unqualified for office. All it takes is a majority of the House to send him packing.

Why should he care? Obama knows going over the fiscal cliff will only hurt those who despise him and/or those who didn´t vote for him. He´s an angry politician with literally no vision.

Economic disasters are engineered by Progressives to grow government.
That´s what they do best.

Big business gets their "cut"!
Small businesses get screwed!
Main Street foots the bill!

As soon as America and the Media figure this out, they are "toast"!

Think about it........

Taxes go up for everybody.
Obama rides to the rescue to LOWER taxes and save the economy.

We never ever have to hear the phrase "Bush Tax Cuts". Forever more, we will talk about the "Obama Tax Cuts".

Obama gets to blame the Republicans for taxes going up...because the insisted on protecting the rich. And does ANYONE think for even a second that the press will be honest for even a second.

This is a three way win for Obama, the treasoncrats and the press.

#14 - the problem with your otherwise excellent idea is that a strong case can be made that Franklin Marshall Davis is Obama´s real father. Compare photos of the two. Davis was 6´ 2" tall and so is Obama. Davis noted in one of his writings that he had had sex with "Anne". If Davis is Obama´s True father, this adds incentive to hide Obama´s birth certificate. Be all of that as it may, Bonehead Boehner and the Gutless Old Party wouldn´t persue removing Obama out of their fear of the media.

How can returning to Clinton taxes be called a cliff? We´re told that was the golden era. Bush tax cuts for the rich are blamed for junk loans, high unemployment, heatburn, flat feet and cancer.

#6 and 7 - bingo, bingo. If the Republicans weren´t so incompetent, disorganized, and fractured, they would be shoo-in to turn this into a political gain as well having a positive effect on the economy. Boehner must go before the G.O.P. will be able to make any positive strides in turning this fiasco around.

WASHINGTON —President Obama used his weekly radio address on Saturday to reassure the American people that he has “played no role whatsoever” in the U.S. government over the past four years. “Right now, many of you are angry at the government, and no one is angrier than I am,” he said. “Quite frankly, I am glad that I have had no involvement in such an organization.” The President’s outrage only increased, he said, when he “recently became aware of a part of that government called the Department of Justice.” “The more I learn about the activities of these individuals,

OVER the last decade, the United States has become a less violent country in every way save one. As Americans commit fewer and fewer crimes against other people’s lives and property, they have become more likely to inflict fatal violence on themselves. In the 1990s, the suicide rate dipped with the crime rate. But since 2000, it has risen, and jumped particularly sharply among the middle-aged. The suicide rate for Americans 35 to 54 increased nearly 30 percent between 1999 and 2010; for men in their 50s, it rose nearly 50 percent. More Americans now die of suicide

In the days after the Benhazi attack, the State Department scurried to cover up its failure to heed warnings of such attacks while the White House scurried to cover up the fact that that attacks were the work of al Qaeda-linked terrorists of the sort President Obama supposedly had largely vanquished. The final Benghazi “talking points” and Susan Rice’s talk show appearances represent the product of this scurrying. To help advance the narrative that the Benghazi attacks were spontaneous, and thus (a) not to have been anticipated and (b) not linked to al Qaeda,

TORONTO - Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, a target of criticism for his often unconventional conduct, on Friday denied media allegations that he had been caught on video smoking crack cocaine. "Absolutely not true," Ford told reporters gathered outside his west Toronto house, before driving off in his SUV. SAN DIEGO — In the ocean off Coronado, a Navy team has discovered a relic worthy of display in a military museum: a torpedo of the kind deployed in the late 19th century, considered a technological marvel in its day. But don´t look for the primary discoverers to get a promotion or an invitation to meet the admirals at the Pentagon - although they might get an extra fish for dinner or maybe a pat on the snout. The so-called Howell torpedo was discovered by bottlenose dolphins being trained by the Navy to find undersea objects, including mines,

It must be George W. Bush’s fault. Everything else is. The moonbats’ verdict is in. Barack Obama couldn’t possibly have done all those terrible things the vast right-wing conspiracy is accusing him of. And they’re not scandals, either. Obama’s troubles are merely “controversies” or, to use Dear Leader’s own phrase, a sideshow. Scandals only happen to Republicans, just like Deval Patrick didn’t go on a junket to Ireland. It was a “trade mission.” Democrats never make mistakes either — “mistakes were made,” in the passive voice.

Jay Carney insists Benghazi, Libya, is not a scandal, but then he doesn’t admit to having misled the media about the origin of the attacks. The administration now tells CBS News, “We’re portrayed by Republicans as either being lying or idiots. It’s actually closer to us being idiots.” It would be nice if the source specified what part(s) of the administration were idiotic and why it’s “closer” but not all attributable to incompetence. The problem with claiming incompetence is two-fold. First, it raises the question as to where the president was on Sept. 11, 2012,

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,
