It would be much more influential if each petition signer and those who don´t want to sign anything on a WH website would email CNN with your displeasure and notify the network that you will be boycotting them and their sponsors. The only thing the media cares about, other than their agenda, is money. Hit them where it hurts.

The WH will announce a blue ribbon commission to look into this and report back in a few months with specific recommendations. The WH will ignore the recommendations, the corrupt/defunct news media will consider it old news and ignore it, all resulting in the election-determining low information voters oblivious to it all and remaining a couple quarts low on information, and we will all move on.
