The petition to deport CNN host Piers Morgan for his recent comments on gun control has reached over 49,000 signatures as of this posting, which will force the White House to respond. The petition, created Friday, needed 25,000 signatures within 30 days for the White House to take action and it’s reached far more than that in a mere three days. In case you missed it, the petition called for Morgan to be deported for his “hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution.” Gun advocates are angry about Morgan’s comments calling for increased gun legislation in America and are accusing him

If it were up to me, I´d have this sanctimonious pompous twerp sent back to the UK tomorrow. He is insufferable. Only a loser network like CNN would keep him on. My guess: the UK doesn´t want him back. Maybe he should try Canada.

Not needed in Canada, which is top heavy with Dem-party wannabes, NYT believers and other assorted riff-raff already. No need for other leftards whether American or Brit.

I hear they are remaking "Last of the Mohicans" as reality TV. I am sure there is a place there for an insufferably pompous British twit. Must be a tomahawk with his name on it somewhere...

Only 2,482 more signatures are needed to reach 25,000 to make official the ´Stop any legislation that will ban "assualt weapons", semi-automatic rifles or handguns and high capacity magazines´.
Go to www.whitehouse.gov to sign that one!
When it reaches 25,000, the WH will have to respond to the petition.

The next one to go is Michael Moore since he sees absolutely no redeeming qualities of the US. He is always bashing the US and since he must weigh 500 lbs he certainly gets enough food and then there is his 1+ million house that he could sell (if anyone would buy it) and he could live like a Shiek in Saudi Arabia or perhaps more fitting Afghanistan. This man has such disrespect for the US and we certainly don´t need him here. He´s just taking up breathing air.

Nobody´s expecting him to be really deported. This is nothing more than the expression of his total unpopularity with the public. He was pushed forward as the hot new "thing" for CNN, bet is proving himself to be a toxic stink bomb and ratings disaster. To be famous in this country is not the same thing as to be liked or admired. PM will get ratings attention for a little while, but his unpopularity will remain. Hey Morgan! Kiss my #*%@!

I doubt they even look at these things. Besides, with this kind of thing on Piers Morgan, how long before DU does one on Mark Steyn?

And #9.... You need to listen to Mark Levin if this is the first time you´re learning of MSLSD.

It would be much more influential if each petition signer and those who don´t want to sign anything on a WH website would email CNN with your displeasure and notify the network that you will be boycotting them and their sponsors. The only thing the media cares about, other than their agenda, is money. Hit them where it hurts.

The WH will announce a blue ribbon commission to look into this and report back in a few months with specific recommendations. The WH will ignore the recommendations, the corrupt/defunct news media will consider it old news and ignore it, all resulting in the election-determining low information voters oblivious to it all and remaining a couple quarts low on information, and we will all move on. Whatta a country!

Right on #23. This is a WH petition. It doesn´t matter how many signatures they get. They will not nor do they have to do diddly squat. Instead of signing petitions, maybe e-mails and calls to Congress needs to be done regularly---like every day complainging to even people who do not represent you. Tell them your representation isn´t working for you.

More of the same kabuki. Just like the govt gets the Gays to register their betrothals or marriages, the WH wants people to sign-up so that they can be "contacted" and removed at a lster date. Same with the Lyndon LaRouche sign-ups,too.
The gays will have a date with a crane. the Piers group will go to re-education camps, The LaRouche sign-ups will be scotched some how.

Perhaps Piers Morgan doesn´t know or remember that after Dunkirk, private American citizens donated their own guns to Britain to help the British people defend against the anticipated Nazi invasion. Incidentally, the Nazis did not treat unauthorized people possessing firearms kindly. The penalty was death.

I´m amazed that Ldotters have missed a point here: the jackwagon is enjoying every minute of this fuss. Indeed, he caused it deliberately.

This is the most attention he´s gotten since he came to this country, having been (rightfully) disgraced for publishing pictures of British soldiers abusing an Iraqui, pictures which were subsequently admitted to being faked.

And then he was questioned in the phone hacking scandal.

Lovely chap.

Stop paying him notice.

WASHINGTON — IT’S weird to be jealous of your car. But I am. Men look at my car with such naked lust, their eyes devouring the curves and chrome, that I often feel as though I’m intruding on an intimate moment. Women like it, too. California’s unemployment rate is rotten and holding steady. In March, according to the Los Angeles Times, the rate was 8.1%. In February, it was exactly the same. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the state only added 11,800 net new jobs in March, many of them in construction, government, education, and health services. The greatest gains were in professional and business services, with 3,100 new positions. But the jobs numbers in hospitality, manufacturing, and leisure dipped, and the biggest drop came in financial activities, as the slowing rate of mortgages forced banks to fire employees. That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. In a speech earlier this week, Lisa O. Monaco, President Barack Obama’s assistant for homeland security and counterterrorism, insisted that American parents must be vigilant because their “confrontational” children could be on the verge of becoming terrorists. Monaco’s full, prepared text is available here. She presented the speech, entitled “Countering Violent Extremism and the Power of Community,” at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on April 15. Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings.
