| Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado - Volunteers at a Colorado Air Force base monitoring maps showing Santa Claus´ progress are several hours into their goodwill mission and have answered more than 24,000 phone calls from children wanting to know everything from old Saint Nick´s age, to how reindeer fly, to when they can expect their presents. Phones have been ringing nonstop Monday at Peterson Air Force Base, headquarters of the North American Aerospace Command´s annual Santa-tracking operation. Dozens of helpers at NORAD are taking calls and tracking Santa´s location on large projection

In an attempt to keep it real and share in some of those 0bama dollars in the future, NORAD has it´s arrays pointed at the one person who can transcend all boundaries, Santa Clause. With watchful eyes and goodwill to all, the volunteers will make sure that he is safely about doing his annual gifting.

Christmas Eve is the scariest damn night of the year!
Santa only brings toys to them that´s been good all year.

I love this! I remember listening to the NORAD bulletins on KDKA radio and going mad with excitement. Of course, it doesn´t help a child to get to sleep!

Im with you there #3. Grew up listening to KDKA myself.
I always check the NORAD tracks Santa site on Christmas Eve. It´s the one night a year where I attempt to suspend disbelief and pretend that there is a Santa. Naturally, everyone around me is convinced that I´m nuts.....but the voices tell me that I´m ok ..... ;)
The videos are much improved this year.

we always check NORAD...the grandkids love it...some are in their teens...
I believe that a person who does a good deed, or gives an unsuspecting person a gift..is actually Santa...We can all be a Santa to someone...He Lives On....

I don´t believe it. I´m pretty sure Santa has stealth technology. But at least their heart is in the right place.

A series of shootings this weekend has Chicagoans on edge. A total of 11 separate shootings since Friday night have resulted in seven deaths and at least 30 injuries in the Windy City.
