David Gregory presses NRA’s Wayne
LaPierre, may have violated DC law

The Daily Caller, by Jeff Poor

Original Article

Posted By:sparky86, 12/23/2012 5:24:35 PM

On Sunday’s broadcast of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” moderator David Gregory took a very aggressive posture in his exclusive interview with NRA executive vice president and CEO Wayne LaPierre. After a series of LaPierre’s answers appeared to frustrate him, Gregory lashed out at LaPierre and held up a high-capacity ammunition clip, leading to a back-and-forth between Gregory and LaPierre. Partial transcript as follows: GREGORY: Because that’s your standard is that fewer people should be killed. That’s the goal here. And the standard is, if it’s possible, your words, if it’s possible that lives could be spared, shouldn’t we try that?

Comments:
Although NBC is probably granted diplomatic immunity, Gregory went into full-fledged MSNBC mode today

Surprisingly, Gregory did NOT hold up the liberal-handy scalpel.

Even though the story cites the law´s definitions, the author still doesn´t understand what a clip is. Does he know what end of the gun the bullet comes out of?

Did David get around to talking about box cutters and their ban? They killed a heck of a lot of people eleven years ago yet no ban as of yet.

It does not matter that David Gregory violated a DC law, because Gregory is a liberal mouthpiece, and the liberals who run Washington, DC are not going to arrest and prosecute Gregory.

Now if Wayne LaPierre had brought along an empty magazine of the same type and showed it for emphasis, as Gregory did, it would be another story, and LaPierre would have been lucky to get out of the building without being arrested. That´s how political all this is.

Barack Obama and Eric Holder sold THOUSANDS of weapons to Mexico´s drug cartels, resulting in at least three hundred murders.

That´s about twelve times the number of victims in Sandy Hook, Connecticut.

Why isn´t David Gregory asking Obama and Holder to stop hiding behind "executive privilege" and answer our questions about Operation Fast & Furious?

I get tired of blow-dried idiots talking about guns, a subject they know nothing about. Clips rather than magazines; bullets rather than cartridges. Automatic weapons rather than semi-automatic weapons.

Brings to mind the old saw about the similarities between opinions and anuses.

But it woulld be fun to call the DC PD and demandthat an arrest be made- since there is video evidence of a crime being committed. FOr those of you who think this is silly, it is to be pointed out tangible evidence that precisely refutes their logic. "Want laws to prevent people from having these things? That law alreadey exists. Enforce it!"

I bet the Marxist Gregory did not mention the story about the Chinese Communist controlled media calling for the immediate disarming of all Americans, a couple of days ago. All I can say is "Remember the Tiananmen Square Massacre." The Gregory´s of this world see themselves as the ruling elite, destroying the NRA and gun owning Patriots is just his duty to the Party. As soon as they get our guns they can take the NEXT leap Forward.

Next week Gregory will pull out a loaded AR-15 with that clip and empty it into his Republican guest shouting, "Is this what you want, punk!", winning himself an Emmy.

I´ve been watching the Sunday morning news shows nearly since they began, but the last few weeks I have found none of them watchable in the least, they are all like livecams into insane asylums.

Gregory must value school children lives less than Obama´s or Congress members because he is not advocating that we disarm the secret service or congressional security.

Dead Ted Kennedy´s bodyguard (one of several - I actually had to work with them when my stupid dean managed to invite Ted as a commencement speaker not long after Ted killed Mary Jo Kopeche) dropped his uzi while entering the capitol building in d.c., and nothing happened to him.
James Webb carried a semiauto pistol into the capitol, blamed his assistant, nothing happened to them.

I happened to catch Lindsay Graham and Chuck Schumer on Gregory´s show this morning. When Graham said that he owned an AR-15, and didn´t want the government preventing him from buying another one, David Gregory actually started, sort of an involuntary recoil, and moved back slightly from his microphone. It was pretty funny!

Perhaps Mr. Gregory might explain to us how disarming the nation´s law abiding citizens could possibly make school children safer?

And, what is his plan to deal with the hundreds of millions of high-capacity magazines already out there in public hands?

Join a recognized gang. Where their colors. All gun laws are then waived.

If they ban high capacity magazines they will just be creating a black market for them, and create something else that the Mexican smugglers and any other criminal group can smuggle into the USA and make a buck.

The best thing to do is enhance the background checks and grant a waiver of the medical privacy laws relating to mental illness so that law enforcement conducting the checks can be told when an applicant to purchase a firearm has a mental illness and is considered dangerous to him or herself and others.

It is clear that certain classes of people violate our laws repeatedly and with impunity. We are no longer a "nation of laws". Either laws apply to everybody or they apply to nobody.

Reply 17 - Posted by: GOPJihad, 12/23/2012 8:31:17 PM     (No. 9081225)

Gregory should be arrested and prosecuted. Yes, DC´s law is ridiculous and on its face, unconstitutional. However, far too many otherwise law-abiding citizens have been turned into felons at the stroke of a pen because of laws such as those in DC. If LaPierre were the one to wave that magazine around in DC on live television, I haven´t the slightest doubt DC police would be frog-marching him out of the studio and he´d be looking a a $1,00 fine and a year in jail.

Further, the fact that Gregory was waiving that magazine around demonstrates how felons - such as Gregory - do not obey the laws in the first place. Felons and evil-does have never and will never respect societal norms and laws. In fact, they see locations such as "Gun-Free" zones simply as places where lambs can be had for slaughter.

David Gregory better be arrested and prosecuted. This was not an oversight, he purposely sought a standard-capacity AR magazine and possessed one in the District of Columbia where doing so is illegal.

There is increased threat against civilians worldwide. It is organized insanity from the radical Islamists. And it is acts of individual insanity, often feeding off of the long drawn out news attention on school massacres (copycat massacres). There never used to be school massacres. The press has to take some responsibility, and they won´t. The answer is to arm civilians with weapons and ammo, and the gun training from the NRA, because the police will only show up after the fact. And the difference between a 30 round magazine and six 5 round magazine is only a few seconds.

Gregory is a total moron and his show "Meet the Depressed" is nothing more than an inbred cousin to MSNBC, which airs the most hateful liberal talking heads in the the universe...toxic lunatics! LaPierre is a brave soul for venturing into enemy territory...I have the utmost respect for him.

Whereas I, on the other hand, though a benefactor member of the NRA, don´t usually have a lot of use for LaPierre; he often seems to come off as a blowhard.

But yeah, he done good tonight.

While Gregory was berating the NRA for suggesting that armed security people be placed on duty in schools, the Washington Post reported some time ago that Gregory has children who attend a high end private school in the D.C. area where the tuition is about $33000.00 a year per student. The school also has up to eleven security guards on duty at any one time!

I´m surprised that Gregory even handled a gun clip, let alone know what a gun clip is. To a liberal, handling any gun device is like getting leprosy.

This is a prime example of the fact that the gun laws that are on the books are not enforced. Arrest Gregory and procicute him. Since he is a liberal hero nothing will be done.

Immediately following President Barack Obama’s remarks on Wednesday about the current scandal embroiling the Internal Revenue Service, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer reacted by downplaying the gesture. “That was a holding operation,” Krauthammer said. “That was the absolute minimum he could have done. He relieves one person. He obviously had to. He had to relieve at least one person. And he chose, of course , the acting commissioner. But, I would have expected more. On Sunday’s broadcast of ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” Will proposed a scenario wherein the Bush administration had targeted groups with the word “progressive” in their names and concluded the situation would be much different in terms of expressions of outrage. “Mr. Hicks, when he was in Libya, said his jaw dropped

Hume, speaking on Tuesday’s broadcast of “America Live,” said there is no feasible way for her to escape any responsibility since she had to be involved in the crafting of the talking points that came out after the attack that resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including then-U.S. Ambassador J. Back in the 1980s, the country faced a familiar dilemma to the one it faces today — the border was insecure and too many illegal immigrants had moved into the United States. At the time, the proposed solution was a bill crafted by then Wyoming Republican Sen. Alan Simpson and Kentucky Democratic Rep. Romano Mazzoli. Signed into law by President Ronald Reagan in 1986, it instantly granted 3 million illegal immigrants legal status. Yet a little over 30 years later the problem has returned, with more than 11 million illegal immigrants now in the United States.

Conservative columnist Pat Buchanan says the “Gang of Eight” immigration reform bill will, if passed, threaten national security and destroy the Republican Party’s ability to compete on a national level. Buchanan, author of “Suicide of a Superpower: Will America Survive to 2025?” told radio host Laura Ingraham on Monday that passing a “blanket pardon” of illegal immigrants would be “an act of madness,” particularly in the wake of last week’s terrorist attacks in Boston. “It’s been one week since something like 178 to 180 Americans — three of them murdered — but 178 injured, maimed and wounded by two

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”
