| President Obama has a very serious ego problem, and when he goes off teleprompter, it sticks out like a sore thumb. His eulogy for Senator Inouye on Friday was grotesque in its focus on the speaker, not the dearly departed. Unsurprisingly, President George W. Bush delivered a graceful eulogy for Gerald R. Ford´s funeral, a model from which his successor should, but will not, learn. As David Paulin points out: A great funeral eulogy and not a single mention of "I" or "me" by President Bush.

If Bush were in office now it would be 24/7 Staten Island devastation from Sandy and FEMA failure.

~~If conservatives are ever going to learn how to respond the streetfighting ways of the left´s propaganda machine, now would be a perfect time. We are faced with a ruthless political-media machine that targets and takes out charismatic conservative political talent through the use of media-sponsored ridicule.~~
How true.....

How I miss a man who can speak from the heart, without that sing-songy cadence Obama uses! And a man who can speak about someone other than himself.
I also miss an Ameica where a man was measured by his ´honesty and courage´ as George Bush said about Gerald Ford.

This country still felt like America under Bush and that´s more important than anything else. there´s millions of people in country identification limbo now, just zombieing their way through life.
The other day on the weekly jobs report they said new claims went up 17,000 last week and that´s almost become a meaningless number except to the folks who got the pink slip.An "economist" then rationalized it by saying this number of jobs losses is expected in an economy creating 2 million jobs a year.Pure oxymoronism..So Obama has co-opted every bit of info coming from the media and somehow bad news becomes good news.

I can´t stand it when Obama says ´my Secty of State or my Def Secty´. The other presidents have never said it this way, they have always just said ´the secty of whatever´, but this guy is all about himself. These cabinet members work for the people of the United States.
Just listened to the eulogy by President Bush, what a wonderful man. I really miss him.

We just listened too #6, and yes, we miss him terribly. I still am mystified as to how they were able to paint him as an imbecile who couldn´t speak and supposedly was an embarrassment. I never saw that.

The low class of the Democrats was apparent at the Wellstone funeral, and now again at the Inouye funeral, but for sheer brazen bad taste and manners, Obama’s long speech about himself is a new low

I heard a bit of this on TV (couldn´t get to the remote fast enough) and never realized it was a eulogy. I thought it was one of the usual B.O. orations.

Too bad that many Americans did not comprehend Obama´s true spirit when they went to vote.
America has lost many good leaders of value, yet still cling to those who do not believe in the goodness of America, the blessings of Almighty God!
Christmastime should bring to our memories of the wondrous love God poured out in the body of Jesus, Lord/Savior to all who will call upon His Name, live according to His Word, receiving His blessings through His Love/Grace available for all who will believe, to receive daily all that we need - His Presence!
Thank God that the Bush presidencies presented Jesus as Savior/Lord, evermore to prosper US in His Name. They openly prayed, privately sought God´s will, always willing to listen/learn/obey!
One day George and George W. Bush will hear their Lord/Master call their name and to "enter in to ALL God has prepared for those that love Him.
Obama hasn´t yet decided who he believes - depends on the climate/politcal-correctness.
I pray all readers have made their choice. I await seeing you in the Kingdom Jesus came to provide - forever to bask in His goodness!

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. What was a DHS agent doing at the San Jose Tea Party protest? (snip) they weren´t just spying on us in San Jose and monitoring us in San Francisco, they were watching us throughout the entire state

Remember president Obama´s first pitch of the MLB 2010 season at the Washington Nationals ballpark? It sailed towards the home team dugout. While he couldn´t throw a baseball within ten feet of home plate -- even if it took a double bounce on the way in -- Obama has tossed perfect incendiary strikes inside his own clubhouse, sending his entire team to the disabled list, demoted to the minor leagues, or banned from the game for life. In fact Obama´s entire liberal-progressive league has forfeited the rest of the season -- and then some.

Hey, liberals! Obama thinks you are stupid. Yeah, he really does. He knew Benghazi was terrorism before he didn´t know it was terrorism. Addressing a question about Benghazi in his press conference Monday, May 13, 2013, Obama´s "logic" really made an impression: "The Day after it happened I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism." (snip) Leaving behind Obama´s initial certitude about Benghazi having been a terror attack, not only did he not know what had happened because it wasn´t clear

What person ever says what he really knows at a funeral? Eulogies bearing little or no resemblance to the deceased or to the facts are trotted out by people who are often bad actors, who though they know better, lie anyway. It´s almost acceptable behavior. But any truth about the deaths of U.S. Ambassador Christ Stevens and three other Americans appears to have been put six feet under as far as our current administration is concerned. (snip)Did they love Chris Stevens the way Brutus loved Caesar?

Somewhere, Andrew Breitbart is smiling. You can almost see the metaphorical light bulbs going on in bubbles over the heads of liberal media figures. Obama loyalists are expressing outrage at the subpoenaing of the phone records of 20 lines serving over a hundred AP reporters. Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell was convicted yesterday on three counts of first-degree murder, not to mention a slew of other charges, including involuntary manslaughter (for the death of 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar), infanticide, and abortions past Pennsylvania´s legal limit. (snip)in a culture dominated by the 24-hour news cycle, it will be easy for Americans to consider the abortion issue closed with the Gosnell verdict. The pro-life movement´s challenge, as [Lila] Rose says, is to keep the American people focused on how common Gosnell-like practices are in the abortion industry, and on all the unsung victims abortion

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
