| THE PRESIDENT: Hi everybody. This weekend, as you gather with family and friends, Michelle and I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays. THE FIRST LADY: We both love this time of year. And there’s nothing quite like celebrating the holidays at the White House. It’s an incredible experience and one that we try to share with as many folks as possible. This month, more than 90,000 people have come through the White House.

A suggestion…why not do that!? After all, you have 54 trees and a battalion of chefs.

When you come back in late January..all the WH Staff has taken down and packed up the "Christmas" Stuff, and it is back to their Secular Progressive Life Style.

I´m beginning to hate the word "folks". Just it´s association with these two... (argh, words fail) gives me a twinge every time I hear it. And it used to be a pretty innocuous word, too. Not any more.

The first POTUS in American History to openly advocate unlimited abortion, to include partial birth abortion and infanticide, uttering these words, during this Holiest of Seasons, have a hollow ring to them and are insulting, I am sure, to millions of believers throughout the globe.

Well, Mizzuz Stinky, if "there’s nothing quite like celebrating the holidays at the White House," why are you spending FOUR MILLION DOLLARS of taxpayer money on Christmas in Hawaii? $4,000,000 of taxpayer money. Because you´re a parasite with an out-of-control sense of entitlement, that´s why.
I had to cut back on spending for Christmas this year. I´m lucky to have a job, but employment insecurity is at a maximum at my company. The unemployment rate for my three siblings and me is 50%.

"a time to celebrate the birth of Christ. To reflect on His life and learn from His example."
Would he have Jesus Christ in mind there, or perhaps Barry Christ?
Worth a reminder that Islam holds Jesus (they call him "Isa", if I´m not mistaken) as a major prophet, second to Mohammed, and as such honor his birth (even while they deny his identity as begotten Son). So TelePrompTer-in-Chief´s "Merry Christmas" and reference to "the birth of Christ" aren´t necessarily tacit admissions of Christian faith, by any stretch of the imagination...

When he says that these attributes of faith are the same for all faiths, he is making it clear there is no reason at all to be a Christian since everyone is the same, blah blah blah.
Actually, no other religion believes in a virgin birth or a real resurrection, or a second coming. But then, I doubt very much if he does either.

As President, many of his actions aren´t Christian. But he will claim they are because, don´t forget, liberalism is all about saying. Just say it and it will be - that´s how liberals operate.
The art of stringing words together to create an impression is basically the art of liberalism. Keep in mind that the masses operate on the basis of pictures and not thought when it comes to politics. All that the politician needs to do is to create a picture and he´s sucked in the masses.

The standard rule for handling bad news in politics is to get it all out at once. Take your hits for a news cycle, two or three. And then try to move on. The worst thing to do is allow the bad news to dribble out, poison drop by poison drop, for days, weeks, even months. Yet that is precisely what Barack Obama has done -- and continues to do in his current epidemic of embarrassments -- over a decade of controversies and scandals. The amazing thing is, so far, it´s worked like a charm. So, why should he change?

Graduation ceremonies are good times for families and their offspring, which makes them good times for politicians to be around and associate themselves with happiness. President Obama gives four commencement speeches per year--at one public and one private university, one historically black school and one service academy. Just before his epidemic of scandals broke, Obama critiqued the many faults of America and told Ohio State graduates to dismiss cynical talk about over-reaching government and fear of tyranny. Technically, first ladies are not politicians. Most are dutiful if often reluctant campaigners. But Michelle Obama is a glaring exception.

Finally, scientific confirmation of what so many have suspected all along: The strongest of men in varied societies around the world are much more likely to hold conservative political views. Probably much smarter too. While weaker guys, regardless of wealth, are more liberal, into handouts and wealth redistribution because, well, they don´t have the strength to get it and keep it themselves. The reassuring results come from a new study by researchers at Denmark´s Aarhus University.

Hi, I’m Congressman Andy Harris, and this is the Red Tape Tower. 20,000 pages high and seven feet tall, it encompasses all of the regulations already associated with President Obama’s health care law. The red tape, the taxes, the mandates, the tricks, the traps, the fine print … it’s all here. Now: just think about the fact that it’s the IRS that will be responsible for enforcing many of these regulations. If we’ve learned anything this week, it’s that the IRS needs less power.

Hi, everybody. Over the past few months, I’ve laid out a series of commonsense ideas to reignite the true engine of our economic growth: a rising, thriving middle class. The way I see it, there are three areas where we need to focus. One: making America a magnet for good jobs. Two: making sure our workers have the education and skills they need to do those jobs. And three: making sure your hard work leads to a decent living. I’ve also been visiting cities across the country that are doing some interesting and creative things along these lines.

Another awkward day in the unraveling presidency of Barack Obama. Beset by a trio of profound scandals, the Democrat planned Thursday´s message on foreign affairs through a joint news conference with Turkey´s Prime Minister Erdogan, a NATO ally. Unfortunately, Obama´s advance staff was apparently too busy preparing his next campaign stops to check the Washington weather forecast. It set up the news conference outdoors in the Rose Garden. Wouldn´t you know given POTUS´ recent luck, it began raining heavily. Obama [Snip] ordered two U.S. Marines to come hold umbrellas over the leaders´ heads while standing at attention.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

Former Rep. The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
