Does President Obama
know what he wants?

T he fiscal cliff. The jobless recovery. Comprehensive immigration reform. Climate change. Implementing ObamaCare. Cutting healthcare spending. Rebuilding our infrastructure. Addressing student debt. Fixing the tax code. Gun control. There is no shortage of domestic issues that this president might address.(Snip) And yet, the nature of President Obama´s campaign, coupled with a few odd choices relating to the selection of the president´s second-term cabinet, raise questions relating to whether Obama has thought carefully about what he truly cares about, or whether he is instead playing a very complicated game of whack-a-mole, reacting to events as they pop up.

This guy needs a telescope to see what´s right under his nose.Obama wants a government knows best, ruling class oligarchy where friends get to live in luxury while everybody else scrapes out a meager living or lives on the dole. When you can hang housing, food, healthcare and banking over people´s heads you have full control.

Yes he does. And the worst part is that a majority of the votes that are counted now want what he wants too. They´re about to attach that vacuum hose to our wallets and set the dial to hypersuck.

Heartily agree with all above, specifically #7´s conclusion. Obama is not - repeat NOT - just yer ordinary reglar Demcrat. It is frustrating beyond belief to hear those supposedly on our side, and worse - the other side - exclaim surprise or confusion about his actions, as if they´re just now noticing!

John McCain: late 2008 - ´You have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency.´ Spoken to his own audience at a campaign rally!

WE KNEW. We knew these things would happen and we knew it long before John McLame made his idiotic statement. And for the super-smarts of our nation to WONDER, now? Aaarrrggghh!! It´s so frustrating - all this was so preventable! But we were called names.

Obama has no new ideas, no philosophy or character of his own. He follows the teachings of his communist parents, Frank Marshall Davis and Valerie Jarret, which happen to match the long-time democrat playbook very closely. He carefully chooses as his officials people who are less capable and more radical than he, which should be hard to find in this country but the democrat party seems to have a never-ending supply.

When we start cleaning house, we need to make it a clean sweep, not just his ugly mug.

I am old enough to have lived through 11 Presidents. I have never seen anything close to this sort of willfully feckless leader and willfully feckless press. I just can´t believe my eyes. I think the country ended on November 6, not with a bang but a whimper.

It seems like his overall goal has been to turn the country upside down and shake:

Ram healthcare through as his very first agenda? No problemo. Kiss the donkey of the Russians? A cinch. Walk all over Israel and install Muslim Brotherhood, in the Middle East? Got it. Nominate the very person/Sec of State who was just barbequed for lying on talk show circuits? You bet. "That´ll show the pubs just how absurd I can think outside the box". He was just too stuck on the "reward your friends" mantra and it blew up in his face.

It has been written time and time again the ACA will destroy small businesses and wreck employment opportunities and he is all "full steam ahead". His top down, bottom up approach to crushing the US citizenry is exemplified by his tax the rich, while he discontinues tax breaks for giving to charities.

Perhaps those scars on the back of his head will one day explain his bizarre behaviour.

Have you seen The Hunger Games? That´s what he wants. Minus the ´Game´, that is exactly what I saw in Romania under Ceaucescu. The president and his anointed ones live like Louis XIV and the rest of the people scrape by on next to nothing while slaving away to support the decadence in the capital. Zippy wants nothing less.

FTA: trying to navigate from event to event without any comprehensive vision is apt to create an incoherent jumble of policy decisions that result in no real legacy and, more importantly, no real progress in any one direction.

Hey, it worked well enough to win a second term. Why try to be coherent now?

You must remember that Zero is almost illiterate in foreign policy, finance, and economics. He is completely illiterate in energy and the environment. He is a puppet that responds to his various handlers so he has no coherent policy.
He has one goal - destroy the economic viability of the United States. Anything that his communist czars suggest he do that appears to accomplish this goal he is willing to do.
But don´t forget, he is a narcissistic, amoral, unamerican dunce.

I told my husband this morning that a political cartoonist needs to come out with a cartoon of the WH surrounded by the msm dressed as palace guards protecting their Dear Leader. With the msm protecting him I don´t see how he can be stopped. Plus people are really dumb. Dumb people walking.

There is more than one puppeteer pulling Da prez´s puppet strings and that is why he is so totally corrupt and incompetent. Ironic that Obama does not believe in change (growth) for himself.

Obozo has never had a vision for America. First term, second term, or any term. All he wants is to BE the president, not work or act like a president. He loves all the perks and living like a king but doesn´t want any of the work and responsibility that goes with the job.

And he doesn´t play whack-a-mole with his decisions. He simply wants what is his idea of the day. And being a complete narcissist, he want it NOW. And he simply wallows in the adoration that so many people show to him. It´s really disgusting to someone like me. The only God I worship doesn´t live in the WH.

Is it true that he actually got Jake Tapper at ABC replaced? (Not that I care). There is an ABC in house memo announcing staff changes including a new White House chief correspondent.

And Jake Tapper asks ´where have you beehe been" and boom he is out, canned.

A gilt-edged, certifiable imposter! I knew darn well that’s what he was from the first day he swaggered upon the national scene. Concealing his murky, mysterious past, no matter how expensive it was to do so, was his first and foremost priority. Anyone who goes to such extreme lengths to hide one’s background is up to no good. It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. But, tell that to those who voted for him even the second time, much less the first, and prepare to be greeted with nothing but blank stares and accompanying comment: “Duh!”

I’m not that bright. But, even I can perceive an empty suit when I see one, along with a complicit media keeping a safe distance from anything resembling reality. The mainstream media? They can’t handle the truth!

President Obama asserts that 8 million people have signed up for Obamacare, as though that were something to be proud of. In fact, Obamacare has always been a fiasco from a fiscal perspective–a black hole of subsidies and expanded Medicaid, with largely fictitious mechanisms in place to pay for it. As the number of subsidized participants grows, the disaster gets worse. Charles Blahous explains: Our national discussion…is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come. It is quite possible that the ACA is

One told the other that there, for the first time, her toddler was given Jif peanut butter. He loved it. Prior to that he had only had Whole Foods peanut butter, which (one might

Monaco’s full, prepared text is available here. She presented the speech, entitled “Countering Violent Extremism and the Power of Community,” at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on April 15. Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings. It’s been nine years since the Supreme Court, expressing their decision in the writings of John Paul Stevens, decided to fundamentally change the Takings Clause of the constitution in the case of Kelo v. City of New London. On this auspicious anniversary, a diarist at Redstate decides to take a fresh look at how wonderfully that exercise in freedom worked out for the citizens, and what they received in exchange for their liberties. The Kelo ruling was controversial and precedent-setting because, under eminent domain, the government may seize the property of a private citizen when it’s deemed necessary for public use

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will leave Tuesday for a four-nation trip to Asia, looking to recharge a focus on the region, an ambitious initiative that’s been sidetracked by domestic politics and international conflicts elsewhere. Yet even as Obama attempts to boost his effort to emphasize U.S. interest in Asia, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intervention in Ukraine is complicating efforts to reassure Asian nations _ which share the region with an increasingly assertive China - that the U.S. is committed to their security. The administration’s efforts to refocus U.S. policy toward Asia were already being questioned in the region with the

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'
