| President Obama began to unveil his second-term national security team on Friday, choosing John Kerry as the next Secretary of State. The Massachusetts Senator shares the President´s view of diminished American power and influence, which should only compound skepticism about the mooted selection of Chuck Hagel to lead the Pentagon. Mr. Obama has found his mirror-image in Mr. Kerry, who for 30 years has been one of the Democratic Party´s leading doves. The Senator´s antiwar activism after Vietnam is well known and may have cost him the Presidency in 2004.

There´s always a bully in the sandbox who preys on the most defenseless, the most vulnerable. Didn´t any of these, ´doves,´ attend kindergarden?
Pres. Reagan´s policy of, ´´Peace Through Strength,´´ actually produced BOTH peace AND Liberty! 0bama´s reversal of this positive policy is producing neither peace nor freedom.

The WSJ is being a little to lemient regarding John Kerry. First his antiwar activision started during the Vietnam war and since he was still on reserve, it should have been considered treason with the resultant penalty. Second three purple hearts without a night in hospital and then boogying back stateside was another act of cowardice.
Most of us vets recognize courage and integrity and John Kerry lacks both.

Like Obama, he sees the great America that you and I see, as something equivalent to Nazi Germany. Maybe not the Nazi Germany of 1941, but the Nazi Germany of 1935. We see a great nation. They see a hegemonic monster to be destroyed. And, it´s working.

Kerry is the perfect choice for this administration. He´s the White Obama, with all the cowardice, the spoiled brat personality, the propensity to take advantage of people, the delusional, unicorn-chasing ideas, and most dangerous, the belief that all other countries in the world want peace, if only America would throw down her weapons and give up her power. That´s why we must fight the upcoming attack on the second amendment, whatever it takes. The government must fear us, always.

It was rather curious that Mr. Kerry this week presided over the Benghazi senate hearings as chairman of the committee while he is the presumed nominee for SOS. Was he going to take the two state dept guys to task for serious mistakes? Was he going to ask them to resign along with their four underlings?

Imagine Benedict Arnold being named to Jefferson´s cabinet! This is just one more example of still open wound we all suffered called the Obama Regime.
Obama won´t be happy until Israel goes back to the borders it had under Augustus Caesar (that´s right, Israel didn´t exist), Taiwan is taken by China, Russia gets back Alaska, Mexico reclaims California (no big loss there) and we pay reparations to Cuba.
What a mess!

For Hillary Clinton, any gender-related problems she encountered in previous races have been “wiped out,” and her gender would only be an asset if she runs in 2016, writer Anna Quindlen asserted on Thursday. “I think the gender issue as a problem or a deal breaker — ‘Can we have a woman as president of the United States?’ … it was wiped out,” Quindlen said at a talk at the Center for American Progress in Washington. “It was wiped out when she ran and nearly won in 2008, and it since has been even further wiped

On her radio show yesterday, Fox News provocateur Andrea Tantaros mouthed an impassioned defense of journalists against the intrusions of the Obama administration: Let me tell you how people and journalists are being treated these days. They are being stalked, they are being spied on. In Missouri, a news station fired an anchor who talked about the IRS shakedown. Yeah, fired. This is how corrupt the left is. And now, journalists can’t even get into the IRS offices in Ohio, where this alleged scandal started, without an armed guard. This is what is happening to our press.

The week that was as seen through the lens of the one and only Joel Achenbach. Reading the commentary on the IRS hearings, it’s clear that the overriding rule in Washington opinion circles is that the moment someone says they have done nothing wrong is when the presumption of guilt hardens into an incontrovertible fact of guilt, with only the punishment left to be decided. The corollary is that if someone exercises her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, she should be immediately incarcerated. To take the Fifth is tantamount to a confession, even though the actual

The portion of Interstate 5 in Washington that runs over the Skagit River collapsed on Thursday after a truck hit an overhead support structure, but Rep. The complexity of Washington scandals as they unfold usually involves many moments at which it is possible to lose sight of the forest for the trees. Two such instances have come into sharper relief in recent weeks. One is that we still have no good explanation for U.N. ambassador Susan Rice’s talking points for her round of talk show appearances the Sunday after the 9/11/12 attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi. A second is that focusing on the question of whether the loss of four lives there could have been

To say that the Benghazi consulate attack on September 11, 2012, has blossomed into a full-blown scandal for Dear Leader Barack Obama and for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would be an understatement. Much of the media attention has, rightly so, focused upon the e-mails that contradict statements by White House press secretary Jay Carney and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about talking points revisions. The e-mails show that talking points alterations were instigated by top officials in the Obama administration, as well as from the State Department.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.
