Three people have been shot dead near a rural Pennsylvania church today before the gunman was killed by police. State police say the shooter killed three people, then exchanged gunfire with troopers rushing to the scene. Troopers fatally shot him after his pickup crashed into one of their cruisers, injuring three officers. One woman was shot through the window of a church hall while she decorated for a children´s Christmas party. Another woman who was also decorating at Juniata Valley Gospel Church escaped unharmed.

Why does the Daily Mail try to tie in the NRA President´s speech into all this? A nutjob fired on some people decorating a church. It was likely due to a personal grudge. I really don´t think he was paying attention to what Wayne La Pierre said.

Nothing unusual, #1. Copycats always want to get a piece of the fame pie. If the dilbert media would cool their sensationalist jets when reporting stuff like the Sandy Hook shootings, it would help a lot. Also, satan is alive and well on planet earth.

This is horrible reporting. We have a shooting in Pa., then the article talks about the NRA and Sandy Hook. The staff should be fired for incompetence.

This time of year isn´t jolly for everyone.
The true meaning of Christmas has been stiffled by the anti-God people, and emphasis is on buying things.
With the economy on the rocks, I bet there are many people suffering depression, and some snap.

Horror as four dead and three state trooper injured at Pennsylvania church shooting

Rather than trying to sensationalize what happened, how about reporting it correctly in the headline.

Horror as three dead, the shooter killed by police as he rammed their units, injuring three of them.

Yes, it horrible. Yes it a copycat wanting his 15 minutes.

I grieve for the innocent victims but am glad a good guy with a gun was able to stop the shooter before he was able to inflict more injuries.

Did the shooter use an assault rifle?
Did his mother beat him?
Was he insane?
Did he take his meds?

The last time I wrestled a pig was when I corrected a British reporter about an article he wrote slandering lawful gun owners. He admitted that he was wrong, that he knew the facts, but ´It was just too good a story,´ so he lied. It´s what they do. Sheeple eat it up because they want a benevolent dictator/daddy.

And the media does its part to encourage copycats. Why not? They love mass shootings and tornadoes and hurricanes and anything they can use to further their control junkie agenda.

I´ll wait for more info on this guy. I wonder if he fits the narrative -- we´ll hear a lot about him if he does. If he attacked the church first because he´s an atheist, get your fill of the story now because it will disappear quickly.

Report the same type of stuff that goes on in Chicago every night. Report it in detail then blame the mayor for having blood on his hands. He hasn´t gotten illegal guns off the streets and hasn´t put a bounty on the gang bangers and drug pushers.

As #13 says - someone with a relgious hatred of the church - could that be Satan himself influencing minds/hearts that are not fully capable of making right decisions.

There is a real attack on Christianity.

We are celebrating the birth of Jesus and many want the death of those who believe in Him.

Our government does not seem to care whether or not people are killed, unless it is to their advantage - another photo op!

Pray for America! Pray for your families because you don´t know who is out there, looking to see who he can hurt in any way - to steal, kill and destroy - Satan´s agenda!

This is America today.

And - where is our President - in Hawaii, surfing and enjoying life. He has the Secret Service to protect him. How about US? Who do we have on our side?

God Himself will protect US if only we ask Him, seek His will/way, honor His Son, Jesus, born to set US free, one day to be with Him in Heaven, where there will be everlasting Peace!

Call me a fruit bat or whatever you want, but I have my own answer to #1´s question: I think the government is using scopolamine to make these things happen. Find a troubled, loner college student, dose him up and tell him to shoot up a movie theater. Do the same six months later with an elementary school.

Sit back, watch the public outcry, and start grabbing the guns.

It´s not just carriage horse drivers saying neigh to plans for vintage cars tooling around Central Park. The Central Park Conservancy, the nonprofit organization that manages the city’s most famous greenspace, is coming out against a proposal backed by Mayor de Blasio to replace the horse-drawn carriages with replica old-time cars. Doug Blonsky, the conservancy’s president & CEO, told the Daily News that introducing the electric vehicles to the park would be a bad idea. “Forty million people visit Central Park each year, including runners, bicyclists, kids and dog owners,” Blonsky said Wednesday. “Adding vehicles to the mix will make the

Shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday, a 19-year-old in a hoodie and baggy jeans was captured on a grainy black-and-white surveillance video urinating into a reservoir that slakes the thirst of Portland, Ore.’s 600,000 or so residents. (Cue the disgusted “Ewwwwwwwws!” right here.) But really, Portland Water Bureau officials, do you have to flush 38 million gallons of potable water for the sake of a cup or two of human urine? That’s how much the bladder comfortably holds, although the bladder in question obviously wasn’t comfortable. We get the fact that Beervana prides itself on its water supply. The water bureau

BISMARCK, N.D. — A federal judge on Wednesday overturned a North Dakota law that bans abortions when a fetal heartbeat can be detected, which can be as early as six weeks into pregnancy and before many women know they’re pregnant. U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland said the law is “invalid and unconstitutional” and that it “cannot withstand a constitutional challenge.” The state attorney general said he was looking at whether to appeal the decision by the Bismarck-based judge. North Dakota is among several conservative states that have passed new abortion restrictions in recent years, but abortion rights supporters called

After devoting 15 minutes to a Barack Obama interview in the last 24 hours, CBS piled on with another seven minutes devoted to a "scary powerful" top aide. Charlie Rose offered a puff piece on Alyssa Mastromonaco, Obama´s deputy chief of staff. The CBS This Morning co-anchor on Thursday offered no tough questions and instead repeatedly underlined just how important she is. Rose marveled, "You know what somebody called you? Scary powerful." The co-host narrated, "We recently spoke to her about her low profile, high power role. Every time I read a piece about you, it talks about power."

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you
