WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama on Friday nominated Sen. John Kerry as his next secretary of state [Snip] "He is not going to need a lot of on-the-job training," Obama said.....Kerry would replace Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The 69-year-old Massachusetts Democrat is expected to be easily confirmed by Senate colleagues. Kerry is widely-known as the losing presidential candidate whose campaigning, speaking style and gaffes helped Republican incumbent George W. Bush achieve a second term in 2004. But in the current Chicago White House, Kerry is perhaps best-known

A documented traitor and epic windbag nominated to represent MY Country to the World at large. I hope and pray the "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" are reformed and drive his nomination off the cliff. A sad day for OUR Country....

Jon Cary is a traitor in the same mold as Hanoi Jane Fonda.

I´ve read that the Swift Boat Veterans are prepared to go to the mat against this nomination.

I pray they are successful. It is many decades past the time this character-less gigolo serial traitor should pay for his treachery.

If the first black-ish president needs a tall traitor to toss the constitution into the Potomac, he´s found the horse, er guy to do it.

Actually, it´s Teresa´s yacht, or purchased with her stash. The pet poodle gigolo, aka America´s Traitor, has never earned a private sector dollar in his life.

This is Obama´s salute to Vietnam Veterans. What a scum both of them are.

FTA Obama said "He is not going to need a lot of on-the-job training," to outshine any other person in this administration (There, I finished the sentence).

First reaction was, "Boy, is Bill gonna be steamed."

Then I read it´s for SecState.

Now I´m steamed.

I walk by his Beacon Hill mansion often, or rather, Theresa´s or rather John Heinz´s money who paid for it. I usually have some withering comment to make. I wonder if they´ll start having secret service around. Ah, not enough time for all the tawdry personal stories about this scum, never mind his absurd public utterances and positions. Really, we now have the 2 most obnoxious people in D.C. in our faces for (possibly) four more unnerving years. And to JK my next geste to your front door will be "Ghengis is pronounced with a hard g you idiot hatchet faced gigolo moron." So there.

Obama´s latest drone. Bores right into people´s skulls and leaves them paralyzed by false humility, rampant condescension, entitled arrogance, Foghorn Leghorn-like self importance, and a hinky dose of faux Everyman. People will be dropping like flies.

GOP: Anyone doubt Obama´s

Hi, I’m Congressman Andy Harris, and this is the Red Tape Tower. 20,000 pages high and seven feet tall, it encompasses all of the regulations already associated with President Obama’s health care law. The red tape, the taxes, the mandates, the tricks, the traps, the fine print … it’s all here. Now: just think about the fact that it’s the IRS that will be responsible for enforcing many of these regulations. If we’ve learned anything this week, it’s that the IRS needs less power.

Hi, everybody. Over the past few months, I’ve laid out a series of commonsense ideas to reignite the true engine of our economic growth: a rising, thriving middle class. The way I see it, there are three areas where we need to focus. One: making America a magnet for good jobs. Two: making sure our workers have the education and skills they need to do those jobs. And three: making sure your hard work leads to a decent living. I’ve also been visiting cities across the country that are doing some interesting and creative things along these lines.

Another awkward day in the unraveling presidency of Barack Obama. Beset by a trio of profound scandals, the Democrat planned Thursday´s message on foreign affairs through a joint news conference with Turkey´s Prime Minister Erdogan, a NATO ally. Unfortunately, Obama´s advance staff was apparently too busy preparing his next campaign stops to check the Washington weather forecast. It set up the news conference outdoors in the Rose Garden. Wouldn´t you know given POTUS´ recent luck, it began raining heavily. Obama [Snip] ordered two U.S. Marines to come hold umbrellas over the leaders´ heads while standing at attention.

Washington, the former swamp steeped now in ambition, acrimony and duplicity, is quite experienced in handling scandals. They erupt regularly like bipartisan blisters. If handled correctly -- take responsibility, be sincere, proactive, contrite and get all the bad stuff out there quickly in one tidy, eminently forgettable package -- scandals can heal and leave barely a scar. Take Barack Obama. Please. His recent behavior and that of his administration in this ongoing bad news blizzard will be case studies for future generations of communications strategists on how not to address crises.

A key tenet of Barack Obama´s grand design to radically transform the country he did not grow up in is to corrode Americans´ confidence in their revered institutions. The Supreme Court. Private enterprise. The national capitol complex. Big business (except for its political donations to him). Congress. Especially Congress, even when it does his bidding. If Americans come to doubt what they used to believe in, it will be easier for Obama to drive home his own brand of solutions. [Snip] Obama’s been admitting an awful lot of ignorance in recent days.

Officials on Benghazi:

Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up.

Watching President Obama trying to dodge raindrops and responsibility yesterday reminded me of the moment when Dorothy pulls back the curtain and discovers that the Wizard of Oz is “just a man.” Stripped of his spell of mystery and power, the wizard is worse than mortal. He’s a fake. So it was with Obama in the Rose Garden. His performance was tired and trite, ordinary to the point of dull. His veneer of passion was so transparent that you could see him trying to summon his old-time magic by pushing the buttons

STANDING BEFORE reporters Thursday, President Obama declined an invitation to compare the recent scandals weighing down his administration with those that forced President Nixon to resign in 1974. So allow us to do the work for him: There is no comparison. Nixon, in a series of crimes that collectively came to be known as Watergate, directed from the White House and Justice Department a concerted campaign against those he perceived as political enemies, in the process subverting the FBI, the IRS, other government agencies and the electoral process to his nefarious purposes. Mr. Obama has done nothing of the kind.

In the wake of one of the worst abuses of government power in recent history, many are rushing to frame the Internal Revenue Service scandal as simply an attack on conservative activists. That view risks creating a partisan political football and misses a fundamentally scarier abuse that exceeds the scandals of Watergate or any other prior government abuse. The IRS has admitted that since May 2010 it targeted grassroots-conservative organizations that had applied for tax-exempt status, unfairly subjecting them to rigorous scrutiny due to their political leanings. Such groups were told they were required to comply with IRS requests,

The State Department, under Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, created an arrangement for her longtime aide and confidante Huma Abedin to work for private clients as a consultant while serving as a top adviser in the department. Ms. Abedin did not disclose the arrangement — or how much income she earned — on her financial report. It requires officials to make public any significant sources of income. An adviser to Mrs. Clinton, Philippe Reines, said that Ms. Abedin was not obligated to do so. The disclosure of the agreement that Ms. Abedin made with the State Department comes as her husband,

The Internal Revenue Service´s watchdog told top Treasury officials around June 2012 he was investigating allegations the tax agency had targeted conservative groups, for the first time indicating that Obama administration officials were aware of the explosive matter in the midst of the president´s re-election campaign. The disclosure to the Treasury general counsel and the deputy secretary was a cursory one, according to J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration. He said he didn´t reveal conclusions of the probe, which was in its early stages, and his disclosure came as part

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
