| A new annual survey of Americans´ satisfaction with their healthcare finds the percentage who deem it good or excellent has slipped five points during the past election year, down to 67%. Now, according to the new Gallup Poll, the percentage who feel their healthcare is good has dipped from 43% to 40%, while those saying it´s excellent has dropped from 29% to 27%. The survey taken last month finds a familiar split personality among American adults.

Tis isn´t a very good indicator since the teeth of Obamacare hasn´t really sunk in yet. Then you have to seperate health care with people having their hours reduced so the company can avoid the higher costs. This could be more devastating to people than the lack of health coverage.
I go to a local clinic on a sliding scale,so I´m relatively happy with that considering what I would have to pay for even a catastrophic plan.
I have to count on God to keep me out of an operating room.
I could always dress up like an illegal and hit the emergency room.

People aren’t liking “cook book medicine” very well, and it will get much worse. They aren’t liking spending an hour or two answering questions that some government expert dreamed up before they are given something for a sore throat, or that the physician, or more likely, a “P.A” looks at their computer screen rather than listening to their heart. They aren’t appreciating that the hospital is more interested in meeting “core measures” than in answering the call light because their IV Pump is bleating, or they have to get up to the bathroom. But take heart. In a few years, today will look like the “good old days”.

I still can´t believe the apathy and/or the acquiescence of the majority of Americans to the passing of, and now the activation of ObamaCare. Giving up rights and control like lambs to a liberal utopian slaughter. When do we apply to the European Union?
The weak underbelly of America is that a hellbent, motivated and organized minority can push the rest of around. And we all grouse a bit, but gradually knuckle under to the new Leftist rules. An American tragedy. Alas, we´ve, as a nation, become too fat and stupid to save ourselves, Mr. Hayek.

It´s true that O-care hasn´t yet sunk its teeth all the way into our jugulars. However, many existing insurance companies have already accommodated themselves to it in their "Changes for 2013" -- hence the beginning of the drop in satisfaction, from those who read the changes. It will get much, much worse as people discover what it is going to do to THEM personally.

The takers in our society already had free health care (including abortions and birth control.) Nothing changes, except that government now has expanded its control over the citizens...

My 73 year old cousin was just told she only needs to get a mammogram for two more years, and then she will not need them anymore. She asked if the incidence of cancer is less after age 73; well, no, actually the incidence of breast cancer is higher for 75+ women. But 0bamacare does not pay for a woman over 75 to have a mammogram.

Hi, I’m Senator Jim Inhofe. Let me begin by telling those who lost loved ones during the tragic tornadoes in our state how much we love you guys. My family and I continue to pray for you. We pray for you every day. I’ve been in contact with the Oklahoma Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management officials, and the Leaders of the Oklahoma National Guard — you can see over here — that the direct needs of those affected on the ground are being met. Oklahoma has been hit hard, but we’re not knocked out.

Hi, everybody. This week, I’ve been speaking about America’s national security — our past, our present, and our future. On Thursday, I outlined the future of our fight against terrorism — the threats we face, and the way in which we will meet them. On Friday, I went to Annapolis to celebrate the extraordinary young men and women of the United States Naval Academy’s Class of 2013 — the sailors and Marines who will not only lead that fight, but who will lead our country for decades to come. And on Monday, we celebrate Memorial Day.

Nice try by President Obama to change the national subject of intense public discussion from his serial scandals to his "fight" against terrorism. In an hour-long speech, interrupted by a persistent heckler, the former Real Good Talker reminded his audience, whose mission is to study war, that the United States has "constitutional principles." And that "having fought for our independence, we know a price must be paid for freedom." Strange words indeed coming from an alleged constitutional law lecturer and president whose Internal Revenue Service has been illegally targeting and intimidating Americans of a certain contrary political persuasion.

The standard rule for handling bad news in politics is to get it all out at once. Take your hits for a news cycle, two or three. And then try to move on. The worst thing to do is allow the bad news to dribble out, poison drop by poison drop, for days, weeks, even months. Yet that is precisely what Barack Obama has done -- and continues to do in his current epidemic of embarrassments -- over a decade of controversies and scandals. The amazing thing is, so far, it´s worked like a charm. So, why should he change?

Graduation ceremonies are good times for families and their offspring, which makes them good times for politicians to be around and associate themselves with happiness. President Obama gives four commencement speeches per year--at one public and one private university, one historically black school and one service academy. Just before his epidemic of scandals broke, Obama critiqued the many faults of America and told Ohio State graduates to dismiss cynical talk about over-reaching government and fear of tyranny. Technically, first ladies are not politicians. Most are dutiful if often reluctant campaigners. But Michelle Obama is a glaring exception.

Finally, scientific confirmation of what so many have suspected all along: The strongest of men in varied societies around the world are much more likely to hold conservative political views. Probably much smarter too. While weaker guys, regardless of wealth, are more liberal, into handouts and wealth redistribution because, well, they don´t have the strength to get it and keep it themselves. The reassuring results come from a new study by researchers at Denmark´s Aarhus University.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals to join the organization. In an email to CNSNews.com, the BSA public affairs office said the vote on the resolution to “remove the restriction denying membership to youth on the basis of sexual orientation alone” was passed with 61.44 percent in favor and 38.56 percent opposed. “For 103 years, the Boy Scouts of America has been a part of the fabric of this nation, with a focus on working together to deliver the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training,”

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.

The murder of a soldier in south London on Wednesday has prompted fears of a backlash against British Muslims after the English Defence League staged an impromptu rally in the capital and two mosques were attacked. The BNP leader, Nick Griffin, has also reacted to the killing with provocative tweets calling for a protest in Woolwich and claiming the crime is the result of "mass immigration". Farooq Murad of the Muslim Council of Britain said the EDL´s rally in London on Wednesday night was cause for concern. "When attacks like these happen there´s always the danger of far-right extremism
